At Window Nation, we know replacement windows. We’re third-generation window replacement experts who have been lucky to provide homeowners replacement windows, siding, and doors for over fifteen years. We opened our first showroom in Maryland in 2006, quickly growing to serve homeowners in cities across the country – and we’re not stopping there. We’re grateful for every homeowner who has trusted us to upgrade their most important asset: their home. We’ve learned a lot about home improvement over the years, but the most important thing we learned isn’t about window replacement. We learned the home improvement industry isn’t about offering the best windows, siding and doors; it’s about the relationships we build with our customers.

From the start, we were misled about what Window Nation offered. We chose Window Nation because of their window guarantee and trained employees would handle the installation. However, we later discovered that our windows were installed by subcontractors, leading to a series of errors and damage to our home. Starting three months after installation, we reported water leaking through the windows. On the sixth service call, we requested an inspection of all installed windows; that is when we learned that all windows had been installed incorrectly. We also learned that a subcontractor installed the windows, so Window Nation was not responsible for the visible water damage and mold in our home, and the statute of limitations for addressing those damages had expired. Dishonesty and unprofessionalism defiled the entire process with Window Nation, eroding our trust in the company. I hope my review saves anyone considering Window Nation.

Had some windows replaced from window nation past 2 days. They did an awesome job. Made sure every window was done right and cleaned up after every window. They also replaced a 9 foot slider that looks awesome. Was skeptical with some of the reviews I read. They insulated and caulked the windows the right away. Highly recommend window nation. Happy customers

It was horrible. It started off bad when they called me for measurements set the time up. And then 3 hours later changed it after I set up to have someone here. Then the two employees came to install the windows at 9am they didn’t finish til after 10pm. They didn’t have 2x4s to secure the bay window in so had to use mine that I had. I was told by Joshua that he can wrap my windows (j Chanel) in black. Well he left it out as he wrote it up and then lied and said he never did. I’m glad he talked me out of getting new doors at the same time. Then I called and talked to Taylor she promised to call me the next day with answers. I waited 4 days before I had to call again. I was told nothing she can do because Joshua lied and wrote it up the way he wanted. I won’t be getting my doors or my siding from them. I tried to get it fixed but the employees lie and cover for each other. Then at 10 at night they could only clean up so much so the next day I he told clean up. But they made sure they put in for payment the next day. Very disappointing I expected better

The contractors arrived on time, politely answered my many questions and were able to meet any challenges presented to them in removing the bay window, which had been incorrectly installed by a contractor who had no relation to Window Nation

Installation went great. They were efficient, polite and cleaned up after. Windows did have significant sticker glue (not totally sure) on them which should have been cleaned off before they left for a quality presentation when finished but otherwise, no issues.

Aside from repeated schedule changes blamed on supply chain issues (ordered in June, installed in Nov, hence the 4 rating for punctuality) I was ultimately very pleased. Installers were knowledgeable, informative and committed to making everything right. Our upstairs has been cold for years while downstairs was too warm. New windows did the trick. So much more light is streaming in! I got the grids and they're so pretty.

Excellent. The two workers were on time and completed the job in an efficient manner. If I were to have other work done I would very much like to have these workers perform the job. They cleaned up and removed my old windows.

I am greatly dissatisfied with the windows. They replaced 'cheaper' windows which were installed thirteen years ago, and although I paid premium prices for what was billed as a 'better' window from Window Nation, I find that their windows are far inferior to what they replaced. Air leak is significant, and noise cancellation is even worse. Moreover, the windows fall cout when opened-in for cleaning, and I learned later that service calls to remedy this represent the bulk of calls to Window Nation. Obviously a defect of design, and something that the salesman failed to mention. His highlight was customer satisfaction, which I find hard to believe based upon my experience. A few other issues with the installation: 1) Installers did not speak English, only the foreman was able to speak some level of the language. This made it impossible to convey concerns while they were on site. 2) Team arrived late on both days, and on both days, the foreman hustled his co-workers to move faster as he needed to be elsewhere. The co-workers tried to install properly, but the pressure from the foreman prevented them from doing so, resulting in a rushed job. 3) Installers removed all nine windows being replaced, exposing my home for hours to the elements and insects. It took us days to rid the house of insects and clean-up of pollen/dust. 4) Installers labored over installing the windows in the kitchen and downstairs powder room. They definitely were not installed properly as there is a significant air leak. There is also a noticeable current of air on windy days. Moreover, caulking was applied sloppily and ineffectively in the powder room. The kitchen window admits a level of pollen (a yellow film over our kitchen counters) which we never encountered before. The aforementioned are just a few of my concerns, but the bottom line is that I am greatly dissatisfied with the windows, the installation, the lack of forthright information, etc. I paid premium prices for inferior windows and would have done better retaining the cheaper, but more effective windows I had in place.

Great job. They came bright and early, worked 3 days straight in the heat which was well over 90 degrees, and saw it through to completion. I honestly feel that not a single shortcut was taken. If I had 10 more windows I would go through window nation again.

We needed 12 windows done. We thought it would take at least three days. They were here around 8:00 AM and were gone around 2:00 PM. The windows look amazing. We even had them do some extra capping on the bay window we already had and it looks amazing. Extremely happy.

The windows are ok. The install stinks. I could never figure out why my upstairs windows are not drafty now, but my downstairs windows are so drafty I have to close my blinds at night in the winter to cut the drafts. I constantly checked around the frames, but couldn't figure out where the air comes from. One day it finally hit me a little over a year after the install - different people installed my downstairs windows than installed the upstairs. The guys who put in the upstairs windows caulked on both sides of the trim pieces while the husband/wife who installed the downstairs windows didn't! I called Window Nation to ask if, at their convenience when in this area, someone would stop by with their "special premium caulk" and simply caulk 6 pieces of trim that should have been caulked at the original install in the first place. I was told I would be charged $150 for them to take care of this issue. WHAT??! I was also the last install on their list for that particular Saturday and scrap, partially unpainted and orange-marked trim pieces were used on the downstairs windows so they didn't have to come back to finish the basic install. To be nice, I said I could paint those pieces. My mistake. Looking back on the whole fiasco, my advice to anyone reading this would be to call HOMESPIRE WINDOWS and stay away from Window Nation.

Our windows were falling off the house. I considered a couple different companies, in addition to self-install, before making an appointment with Window Nation. We chose a mid-range window. Some frame-outs were required to remedy rotting sills. Window Nation was very professional, from the salesman, Jon, to the customer service rep, Hamaad, who kindly followed up with us after the install. All of our questions were answered. The price was fair. Although we could have paid a bit less elsewhere, we financed the whole project, and Window Nation took care of everything, even carting off the old, nasty windows. They put down tarps, cleaned up, cauked, added foam insulation, etc. They came with plenty of guys to take care of nine windows, also. I would call Window Nation again. Quality work and company!
