Pronto Plumbing

We called them because the second floor toilet and tub were braking down. The toilet was beautifully done. But the cold water valve was left running like a waterfall last night. I called at 7 in the morning and they advised I was on the list to get work done. I waited and tried calling three different times to find the location of the provider. At 2 pm he was still at a different job and I was told he would be on his way after that job. They have never called or showed up. Tommy Thomas (the plumber from yesterday) does good plumbing work, they could have scheduled him better. Since our faucet has been running all night and day, we should have been a priorty. The lady on the phone was not in hurry to get this work completed for us. We went ahead an cancelled our appointment and contacted a different company.

Then I told them that according to previous reviews, their prices were considered to be high. They explained the various charges which I found to be reasonable. They arrived as quickly as possible and cleared the problem. I will use this provider in the future.

I was told it would be a trip charge of $54.00. He was here for 25 minutes and charged me $309.00. No materials. He's a plumber, not a cardiologist. Never use again.

Problem was diagnosed and swift service followed with explanations along  the way. Service provider was very courteous and never attempted to sell me something that I did not need. My bathroom was left clean and with no leftover debris.

When the service person arrived they immediately opened their book and told me it would be almost $500 to install a dishwasher.  They did not need to survey the situation first as they have a standard price for dishwasher installation.   Two issue:  $500 is about 3x what other people quoted and and they told me they could not give me a quote over the phone and needed to send out someone and there would be a $50 charge.    This is a very deceptive business practice and therefore I lost trust in organization and decided to go with a different company for installation.

They're excellent. They're expensive. They were professional and prompt. I felt that when they left, the job would be done right and it is.

If you have an emergency and don't mind paying a premium then use this company. We called on a Saturday for a water heater issue, technician arrived within about 2 hours to check out the problem. He got us up and running temporarily and called back with an estimate on Monday. $900 for a valve or $770 if I became a member. Well for a water heater that is 9 years old I got a second opinion before I spent that kind of money to repair. The local plumber came out and got us up and running for $125.00. The
Pronto plumber was very nice and I think did his best to help us out but the whole thing with the membership pricing just seems very shady to me.
This is my second experience with this company and unless I'm in a real jam I don't plan on using them again.

My pressure toilet wouldn't flush. I called Pronto because I used them before and knew they would respond
very quickly to my service call. And I needed the toilet fixed NOW. The plumber said it would cost approximately $800 to replace toilet, but he said he thought he could fix it by replacing a part. He did replace the part and the toilet worked for about 6 weeks. It does not work anymore but I do not want to spend $800 on a new toilet. I think I wasted my money but it was my decision and I got no pressure from the Pronto plumber - it was totally my choice. I think their estimate for a new toilet is too high. BUT, Pronto is very quick to respond, their employees are very courteous and professional, but they are way too expensive to use on a regular
basis. They did leave me coupons for future services if I ever needed them, but I would definitely try to get estimates from other plumbers first due to their prices.

It went fine except for the price.  I did agree to pay the asking price because of the timing.  I needed it done.   I will not pay those prices again.  It was 3x regular/reasonable market price.  Aside from price the technician was professional and competent. They were punctual.

Overall I thought the work went very well.  I wish it would have been possible to access the problem from inside the house instead of having to dig a big hole outside but it's nice to know there aren't any roots growing in the main line anymore.

I thought Pronto Plumbing was too expensive. They did an excellent job but I just thought it was too expensive.

The job they did went very well.  They were excellent in all aspects.  They came when they said they were coming.  They were on time.  They did the job very efficiently.  They left the place good and clean.  We would use them if we were staying, but we are moving from this town.

They came on the same day that I called.  They did a beautiful job and they are very effecient in their work.

It’s been a very good experience. They will do both small and large jobs.

They were on time and so forth.  The work was very expensive.  They had a dispatch fee.  They didn't tell me what the hourly rate was.  I don't plan on calling him back.  The work itself was fine, but it was too pricey.

When I called them, they said they would come out at a certain time. They came out within five minutes of the appointed time. They had the materials that were needed to replace the faucet and the garbage disposal. They had a mini warehouse in their truck. So, they did not have to leave to pick up the materials. The work was done within a reasonable amount of time. They finished the job before they left. I discovered certain things about how the previous plumbing was installed. It was really faulty. They made an extra effort to make sure that the work was done properly. The guy was very concerned about the neatness of his work. He made sure that the pipes were leveled and the wiring was done well. I was really impressed with that. I thought that the price was a little expensive. It cost me about $1500 for the job. The one thing they did, which I thought was very good, was when they called they told me upfront on the phone call that it would cost me $75 for them to come out and give me an estimate after looking at the job. In case they did the job, the amount of $75 would not be charged over and above the cost of the job. I would recommend them for that business practice. Before the work was done, he wrote up a complete written estimate on how much the final cost would be. He did the work for two and a half hours. It was a very positive experience. I felt very comfortable with his personality and his experience in the plumbing field. He was very competent. I would consider using them only in case of an emergency. I might check with somebody else first as far as price is concerned.
