He did a great job. He was a professional sales person. It took approximately 7 hours to finish the job. If he had not run into a problem then it would have been faster. His prices were not too far off from other estimates.

Prior to the service the radon level in the house was 17.2 pCi/L. Following the installation of the radon mitigation system, the radon level dropped to 0.6 pCi/L (well below the 4.0 EPA recommendation). The company owner came to the house, checked out the basement, and provided an estimate in a timely manner. Two company employees completed the work in about 4 hours (as estimated), cleaned up the area in the basement where the work was performed, and explained the system. The cost was the exact amount of the estimate. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I am in the process of buying a home out of state, so selecting a contractor to perform this type of work was very important. Tuan was absolutely outstanding. He took the time to talk with me BEFORE he gave me an estimate. His estimate was very reasonable. He performed the work on time and did just as he said he would. He has been very prompt in all communication (phone and email). I would highly recommend his services to anyone. I was nervous about radon to begin with and after having talked with him, I understood more about radon in general. He is very knowledgeable. They were able to effectively reduce my 17+ radon reading to 0.4 (about an outdoors reading)!! Oh and the estimate was the final price. Fantastic!

We had a very high radon reading in our basement and we needed to get it down to be able to continue with the sale of our house. There were time constraints and so they put a continuous monitor in our basement soon after the installation. We were pleased that we could check the monitor ourselves and see how quickly the level of radon was reduced. We did a manual 48 hour test for which we just received the results. The radon level tested very low! We were pleased with the work and would recommend this company to anyone with a radon problem.

I know I sort of reversed my fields here. I did a lot of research on radon and mitigation procedures. I have a new baby and figured it was time, and my basement is finished. Also, if I ever go to sell the house, they would have got me for it at the home inspection(perhaps). They come in a marked, big box truck with all their tools and supplies. They got right to work-drilled a hole in the floor of the basement-careful not to hit any drains. Drilled holes through walls to route the pipe out above the garage roof. Had to make some challenging fits and PVC joints behind walls. Hole in attic roof w/ boot around the exhaust pipe. No rain leaks. These guys were great.

After I did a short term and a long term radon test on my own that revealed elevated levels of radon in our walk-out basement, I did a search for someone to install a radon reduction system. I discovered American Radon Solutions through Angie's List and that it received a good rating. I contacted them, set a date, they came and in a short time it was installed. I had prepared the outside of the house by clearing brush from the place I assumed the exhaust would exit basement and go up the outside the house. The installer spent time explaining everything and answering my questions. The cost was reasonable as stated over the phone. The area was clean upon completion. There were no surprises. I would quickly and eagerly recommend this company to my neighbors and have done so.

They were recommended by a neighbor; I got two quotes and theirs was the best price. They installed the system in a morning. I just got the radon test results and the system works.
