I contacted 2 other electrical contractors. One quoted $240 , and the other did not t call back for 2 weeks.
Tri Point called back promptly , came quickly, quoted a lower price and Rich did an excellent job and quickly.
I have found my electrician! Not easy to do ,especially for smaller type jobs.

We contracted TriPoint Electric to install a stand-by generator through an Angie's List deal.  Brad Balentine immediately contacted us to set up a site survey and to answer any questions we had.  He walked through the options for upgrades, discussed where we would place the generator, and answered any questions we had.  He promptly followed up with estimates for any of the items that the purchased deal did not include as well as the upgrade options.  Once we decided on the final set-up we coordinated the plans to have our concrete slab poured and the generator delivered and installed.  We were kept in the loop the entire time, his crew showed up when promised, and the installation was done in a day.  The installation crew walked through all of the set-up options, what to expect when the generator ran, and cycled the generator on and off several times to show it worked.  There were  no surprises and the coordinate the installation with the plumber we selected for the job.
If this wasn't enough, while we were trying to coordinate the location of the concrete pad location, we woke up one morning to find one of our circuits was not working.  I called Brad to see if he could come out and look at it and to the pad survey at the same time.  He came out later than morning and spent close to an hour determining that when we had our exit door installed in our basement 6 years ago, they accidentally cut the neutral in one of the lines and it took that long to fail.  He put in a temporary solution and  his crew put in the permanent solution when they installed the generator.  When I asked him what I owed him, he said "Nothing - you have to do the small stuff to get the big stuff" or something very close to that.  This particularly stood out to me, and I would definitely recommend them to other members.

I stayed home from work for the scheduled 11:00 appointment at my home.  No one showed.  I called at 11:30 and was informed my appointment had been cancelled - and no one had bothered to call me.  Pretty lousy service.

Brad Balentine and his team and in particular Eric  did a great job preparing  and excavating ground to install generator in yard.
They were extremely professional and knowledgeable explanning  and implementing all the various  phases of the installation outside and inside our house  (complex Electrical and gas work installation ) on  time and successfully ...
Spent plenty of time to do  testing and reviewing  details of installation and finished project with us .
Great experience with on going communication with Brad  from beginning to end .
 I really highly  recommend Tri-Point Electric ,Brad  and his team.to anyone wanting to implement such a  specific project.

This was a "big deal" so I paid for it ahead of time.
My original appointment was cancelled because the vendor was held up on another job--he asked me to reschedule and I
submitted some alternative dates.  I did have to call the office  twice when I did not hear back from them, but he finally called and apologize for the delay and came out on the 30th. (having paid in advance did make me worry a bit more about this) The crew was very nice and efficient, arrived on time, did a very professional  job and seemed to know their stuff.  I am planning to use them again for another electrical job.

The installation went smoothly from start to finish. Brad provided the estimate promptly and explained the entire process to us. The price quoted included all plumbing and electric work necessary. The generator was installed in the timeline provided (within 2 weeks of the estimate). The installers were neat, tidy and professional. After installation they went over everything so that we understood how the system operated. The next day we lost power for about two hours and the generator operated seamlessly. We celebrated! We now feel secure when a storm is predicted knowing that we will not be without power. We highly recommend Tripoint Electric for generator installation.

The electricians were friendly and professional. They took care to keep the house clean while working inside and out. The generator interlock kit was installed without issue, and they went above and beyond to identify circuits in their effort to re-label the electrical panel. They took the time to answer my questions and provide insights into what they found. They also clearly took pride in their work and paid attention to detail. As an example, for one circuit in particular that was a little messy and part of which was no longer in use, instead of just telling me what they found, they removed the unused portion of the circuit and replaced a switch in the circuit so that it was safer and more professional.

Sep 2, 2015 (morning) I requested a quote from Tri-Point using the "Ask a Question" button. Sep 2, 2015 (afternoon) - the following is a verbatim reply from Tri-Point: " I will happily call you tomorrow to set up an appointment. where is your home located? " Sep 3, 2015 - I supplied my address. ---------- I received no further contact or visit from Tri-Point ------------------

Brad was very responsive and was available for an estimate the next day.  His team who completed the install were AWESOME!!  I was very happy with the service, cost and the suggestions Brad and his team provided.  Would absolutely recommend this company!

Generator was installed when promised. Very happy with the price and installation.

Brad was punctual and very professional. I was able to schedule installation at a short notice. I am also pleased with the the quality of work. Brad and his collegue were able to install recess lights in living, dining and kitchen in 6 hours, they were very efficient.

The owner came over to estimate the job - good guy. The next day 2 electricians, Eric and Matt showed up on time and completed the work as agreed. Mannerly and professional. Respected my home like it was their own. Very clean and tidy. $300 may seem excessive but I have a very high ceiling and they had to run wiring to the fan.

They arrived on time as they said they would.  They seemed unsure of how they would get paid and I informed them that I had paid through Angie's list.  I believed they were new to the process. They were professional in their demeanor and clean and respectful to my property.  I asked about changing the inserts to the dark from the white and there was no maneuvering on their part.  They installed a dimmer swithc in white also when all my switches throughout the house are beige.  I asked if it could be changed but apparently they didn't have another dimmer switch with them and the one that was installed was was flawed in that you have to toggle up to dim your lights down.  The installer said he would alert the owner to correct, but I never heard from them again, not even to find out if I was satisfied and in spite of the fact that I said I would need some additional outside lighting come spring.

Team arrived on-time, got started immediately and finished quickly.  Following the install, Brad gave me an overview of features/functionality and provided a condition analysis of the roof and the attic-space.  Everything went as smooth as could be and I'm very pleased with the energy-efficiency that I'm gaining!
