We had an immediate need for a very small move. JR from RMS found a truck already in our area and we had the move done that same afternoon.

Rasheed, William and Tony were awesome movers. They moved me on a rainy, slushy, miserable day and got the job done. Very professional. I hope I don't have to hire them again (move again) and would highly recommend the company. First impression of JR was great, and that's what sold me on the company. He took his time explaining how the job would get done, and I thought the quote was very fair.

First impressions really do matter. When I called JR, his attention to detail and customer satisfaction were evident. He didn't tell me how great they are, instead he suggested that I call other moving companies and ask them questions regarding rates, hidden fees, and supply charges. That in and of itself, was pretty much the deciding factor that I was going to hire RMS. I value that he runs his business with integrity. (As a business owner myself, that's important to me.) But I called around to a couple other movers and sure enough, the base rate sounded good initially, until I asked some of the "secret questions" and then the price started going up. When RMS advertises "No hidden fees", they stand by that promise. JR will even give you some suggestions on how to save money and time prior to moving day. His crew is hard working, respectful, and customer service oriented all with a smile. (Especially if you get cheesesteaks for lunch)! If you hire them you won't regret it.

They were two hours late, got lost between a known location and other location (3 miles). Broke something and said nothing, got me to move some items myself, left an item outside and went home and guilt tripped me into giving a large tip. Use your own discretion.

I was so absolutely impressed with these guys from beginning to end. They were on time, efficient and so pleasant to deal with. Everything was handled carefully...and we worked these poor guys! I wish there was more than 5 stars to give them.

The guys who performed the move were friendly, and seemed to enjoy the work. They didn't just treat it as a job. They were hardworking, and didn't stop till the job was done. The owner was fantastic to work with! He cares about his business, and your experience. He was fair and showed true integrity. Overall - this made a stressful experience such as moving - much much more manageable.

I made a 'local' move, but needed also overnight storage between closings. I felt very secure using RMS, and JR spent the time at the walkthrough to give me confidence and ownership for making this move happen. The crews arrived ontime, I received a courtesy call, and the number of movers was what was planned for. I can't say enough about Mark's crew - they were the hardest working guys, and did not slack or slow down. They were very easy to work with, and respected our belongings. They made mention of anything they saw that wasn't right when they packed, even older furniture (like a scratch or blemish), and took care to wrap and ship everything safely. No surprise fees, or up charges. Their invoice was straight forward, and included what JR said was going to be included. Would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Great experience with this moving company. They were very upfront with their fees ahead of time, so no surprises. Hired this company for a local, small move (one very large and heavy piece of furniture). The three gentleman that moved the item were very courteous & helpful. The furniture piece was a difficult to get out of a tight second floor bedroom, but these guys kept going until they got it out! Would highly recommend this company.

Very professonal

Riverfront moving has an excellent team! Their prices were more than fair and were adjusted based on the time actually to complete the move, not just a flat rate from an estimate! The gentlemen who preformed our move were polite, efficient and above all else careful with our belongings during the move. I would highly recommend this company for your next move!

Easy to work with

I was a little bummed because I read so many great reviews. I felt like there was a lack of communication within the business itself. I know summer is hard and with vacations and getting more jobs it can be difficult to juggle but I don't know, I was expecting more. I received confirmation that I was scheduled for the movers to come 8:30am to 9:30 am and when they didn't show by 9:30 we called and were told that we were scheduled 9:30 - 10. No, sorry I was told over the phone AND sent an email with a confirmation. But they didn't get there until 10:18 anyway so they were late regardless. There were three guys but we were trying to have go quickly so my husband took everything apart before they came and we didn't have them put anything together. Still took about 3 hours if not more. We moved 10 minutes away from where we were and have minimal furniture so I really thought it would be done quicker. Now the quote said: 3.00hrs – 5.00hrs to complete*** Rate: $124.50hr ***Approx. $374.00 - $623.00*** But we paid almost $500 The movers worked the whole time, no breaks, and were polite/friendly. Despite being late, they still received tips and were offered water. I'm not trying to be "that" person that complains but like I said, I had high hopes and I'm kind of disappointed.
