Very efficient and responsive. Completed the work as requested and on time with no surprises. Project took 5 days. Workers were professional, proficient and maintained a clean work site. We are very pleased with the results and would recommend this contractor to family and friends.

Extreme Decks and Roofing came and gave an estimate but he never followed up by email or phone.

The overall experience with this company was terrific.

Aaron came over to give me an estimate on the deck. I saw that his truck said "Decks and Roofs". I asked him for an estimate on the roof work, which other contractors, in the past, either "Hemed and Hawed" over or never actually got around to doing. He looked at it, said, "That's no big deal. We can go up and do that." I'm not afraid of heights, so I climbed out a window and watched his guy work -- he was amazing. He was very neat and careful in removing the old sheathing, and very skillful in rebuilding the sheathing. I couldn't believe it when called to get the matching shingles, rather than using something from the back of his truck. In the end, the original problem was fixed, sagging in the area was gone, and it looked --perfect-- visually.
After seeing that work, I asked Aaron about a problem on the steep, high, main roof. It had been patched years ago -- but never properly repaired and was a time-bomb. I wasn't home this time, but the results were, again, absolutely fantastic. The shingle match on the outside was perfect and everything lay flat and tight. And, from the inside, the sheathing was perfect. I don't know how he did it from the outside. But, other than the fact that the wood is new, you can't tell it from the original.
Before it was over, the project came full-circle, and I had them do the fornt porch we had originally discussed, including the stairs. I did not have a porch before, so Aaron had to design it from scratch, without us even having the benefit of an old porch as a starting point for the discussion. I also had some fairly peculiar requirements in terms of how I wanted the stairs to work, how I wanted it to interface with the house (I wanted an exisitisting covered entry area raised and incorporated into the porch), and I wanted it free standing. The result was truly beautiful. Aaron was dramatically good about asking me about all of the decisions and helping me to figure out what I wanted. He was great, always smiled, and was eager to please -- even about little things I pestered him about during the construction -- He even went out of his way to do what I wanted -- even when I changed my mind about how I wanted the stairs to work mid-construction.
All of the projects were executed quickly once started. He showed up with huge teams to move the materials, and had a crew the right size for each job, so that everyone was working hard and the job moved lightning fast -- but no one was standing and loitering around.
This guy is definitely on my list for roofing -- and porches, too. A+++++++

Great service, decided to do business after looking at competitive bids from several others. The finished product looks great and has received several compliments from the neighbors so far.

The deck attached to my house by the prior owner was sagging as the band board had slipped off the support. Extreme Decks promptly returned our call and gave us a prompt and very reasonable estimate. Other contractors we called either didn't return our calls or only wanted to rebuild the deck from scratch. A new deck wasn't necessary; just a small repair. Extreme Decks even came out on a Saturday to get it done quickly. They did a great job and when the time comes to upgrade they will be on the top of our list.

So far, so good. I'm sure it will give us many happy years of good use.

I would recommend Extreme Decks for anyone looking for a custom deck. Aaron and his crew were fast, courteous, and produced quality work. Aaron took the time to show us his portfolio of decks they have built, listened to our ideas, and gave us a spot on estimate for all work. The price was in line and actually a bit cheaper than other estimates we received.

We wanted a deck built to replace the existing small 4'x8' standard deck on our townhouse. I basically scribbled my idea on a napkin and they made it happen. We ended up building a 10'x10' deck, with a privacy fence, that would support a hot tub, a step down (approx. 8") from a main 12'x12' deck for our patio furniture and grill.

They cut no corners, and poured the proper footers, had them inspected, etc. to ensure proper support for the extra weight of the tub, water, and people. Our deck is 2 years old now and it is as solid as the day they finished. We have had zero issues with the deck thus far, not even a single screw that had backed out. All we have done is stain and seal the deck and we couldn't be happier.

We wanted to repair our wooden deck and we wanted wood. We had spoke to several other contractors but everyone tried to talk us out of wood and into the trex type product. Extreme Decks were happy to work with wood. They promptly came out and gave us a bid. It was several months before they could begin the work (our scheduling issues, not theirs). They started the work and completed it within 5 days. They were clean and neat. They followed our design and did not give us a "cookie-cutter" deck. We are so happy with the work that we would hire Arron and his crew again.

Rear access to our home is only possible by a wooden boardwalk from the garage around 3 sides of the house to the back porch. After 30 years the original boardwalk was sagging and slimy. And we wanted to widen for wheelbarrow and wheelchair access. Several summers ago we called some local contractors to give us estimates. We had some drive-bys who never stopped, one who gave us an outrageous bid for simply replacing in kind, and 2 who came but never bid or even returned our calls.

Then we received a packet of discount cards in the mail, including one from Extreme Decks. Aaron came within hours of our initial call, and offered a nice price on the replacement and widening. The crew came when he said they would, worked hard, sang, cleaned up after themselves, and made several improvements we hadn't thought of. Great crew, great guy. Aaron's card is in our file for future projects.

First of all, Aaron is very professional and returns calls right away. I had a job that many people didn't want to do. I even had people turn down the job. These guys came and worked as long as they could. Time was limited due to the time of year and the weather. When they were there they were ready to work and got the job done quickly and correctly. They actually sang while they worked. Clean up was good which also impressed me. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely call them again if I need more work done.

Overall, the experience was very good. Aaron responded to all phone calls quickly. He showed us pictures, provided suggestions. He was polite, friendly, and very hard working. He and his crew worked from early until late and finished the deck in 3 days. He did extra work on a door, built a bench, made stairs wider, included a handrail and a privacy barrier. We were very pleased. Our neighbors were also quite impressed and commented on how much they like the deck. They stated that they enjoyed watching the deck being built and noted that Aaron and his crew seemed to enjoy the work (and were even singing pretty well while doing the work!). There were a few places where the wood was a little rough and I had to sand but this was quite minor (and actually enjoyable). We would certainly recommend Aaron and his company and would also use him again for other work. Highly recommended.

Great experience. Aaron answered his phone every time and took the time to talk. He gave us a competitive estimate. He showed up on time, dealt with a difficult neighbor, and executed exactly what we talked about. He completed the job exactly when he said he would and faster than expected. The final charge was exactly what he quoted. Highly recommended.

They were very fast and finished ahead of schedule. They were very professional and his work was very good. He built the deck to the specifications that I wanted. His pricing was also very reasonable and competitive.

He gave an estimate of $4,000 for a completely maintenance free 6x14 feet porch for the front. They quoted a completely maintenance free porch for the back, that was 10x20 feet for $10,500. I had received another quote for the back porch for only $7,000 that was maintenance free as well. I couldn't believe the difference in price. I will be going with a different company because of the high price.
