Jerry Huelsenbeck, owner and primary consultant, is a nationally certified auditor and has advanced certification in use of thermal imaging. We utilize the latest diagnostic tools and techniques to uncover the source of energy usage within your home and recommend potential remedies. Energy Eagles serves as an independent advisor to our clients and we are not affiliated with the service providers who may be needed for some of the installation work that we recommend. Our focus is on you and your home. We develop a custom prioritized list of projects that give you, the homeowner, the best payback for your investment. Most auditors have a primary business such as insulation, furnace installation, windows, etc. Their primary solution will always include their specialty and minimize the other potential savings areas. With an independent advisor, you’ll have an objective plan that serves you best for both energy savings and addressing comfort issues within your home. Many of our recommendations can be implemented by the homeowner if they are inclined. And we can direct you to local professionals if you need them. To assist with covering the costs of the remedies, we are very familiar with incentives from the major utilities, various agencies and even financial institutions that have preferred rates for energy efficiency projects. Our on-site visits are usually four hours and we prefer to have the homeowner directly involved in the beginning and end of the visit. Very often the homeowners become so engaged in the diagnostic process that they learn a tremendous amount about their own home with the assistance and guidance of our expertise. Our base offering includes a detailed report of our findings and recommendations. And we include a comparison of how your home rates against a regional energy use scale. We do provide more advanced services for deeper diagnostics that you may need to address those tougher problems. And we can develop detailed economic comparisons using the latest PC modeling software to assist you in evaluating what projects will have the greatest dollar impact.
