The inspection went perfectly. We received an amazing report that was some 50+ pages long. My inspection report at my current home wasn't even 20 pages. This kind of attention to detail was so appreciated, as we live in another state and Gene really had to be our eyes and ears. Keystone absolutely deserves an A+.

The service was scheduled within 24 hours of my call.  I met the inspector at the property as scheduled (he was early), and he spent several hours going through everything in great detail.  He found even minor items, which went beyond the significant structural items we thought to be most important.  The serviceman personally showed me the items in question, and followed up with an online written report within 48 hours.  All work done neatly, and well documented.

Our inspector, Gene Cameline, provided a thorough home inspection for us. He took his time, totaling almost about 4 hours, to inspect every detail and to answer every one of my questions. The house is over 100 years old so we wanted to be sure to find anything that may be in need of repair before making our final offer on the house. Gene understood this concern and showed a tremendous amount of care, professionalism, and explained everything so we could make an informed decision throughout our house-buying process. The typed report was just as detailed as Gene was in person; including photos and color-coding to indicate different types of issues (health, structural, etc.).

After the inspection, we needed to get in touch with Keystone several times for follow-up questions and a re-inspection of a repair. Both Gene and Dave, the manager, were very responsive (returned calls within an hour and emailed follow-ups right away). We were impressed by their professionalism and positivity, despite our numerous calls and questions.

We would definitely recommend Keystone Inspections. They are thorough, experienced, and responsive. Keystone will certainly help you to make an informed decision before purchasing a house.

After my brother had a great experience with Keystone Inspection, I decided to give them a shot for our first home inspection of a 100 year old home.  Our inspectors name was Gene, which he was on-site and ready to start 15 minutes ahead of schedule (but was willing to wait at our convenience).  Gene was extremely friendly and shared his expertise with me throughout the home inspection, wood infestation, and radon testing, and encouraged me to join him in the inspection if I chose to do so (which I did) .  Gene was extremely thorough throughout the entire inspection and ended unearthing many problems that might have been skipped over by another inspector, including the discovery of termite damage in a tough to reach crawl space which was covered in 2 inches of dryer lint.
Additionally, Dave Gogal [Keystones General Manager], knew that we had a tight deadline to produce the report (as we were getting close to our 10-day limit), he had our 50 page inspection report ready that day (a Friday) at 10 PM, way ahead of schedule.
Overall, I would highly recommend Keystone for anyone who is looking for a detailed home inspection report.  I felt that they were able to convey the concerns to me (new home buyer) effectively but could certainly impress even the most experienced home buyer.

We had two home inspections with Pam Kane as our inspector. She walked around the house with us for about 40 minutes pointing out things that may be an issue. Then she rolled up her sleeves and did a thorough inspection for 4 hours (cesspools need time for testing). 2nd house she thoroughly looked inside the ancient furnace. The owner of first house lied about the basement never flooding; Pam saw evidence of it immediately. Probably all routine, but her findings told us which house to not buy and we are thankful every day in our new home (ancient furnace and all!) The report, available online just days later, was just as thorough. We still use the report to schedule future repairs.
