went great! Greg was responsive, flexible and extremely accommodating with our quote process. We rent. We had to get separate quotes for every tree and bush we had removed, get the quote approved by the landlord, make payment arrangements between parties and so forth. Greg flowed with the process and worked with us in a fast, responsive manner. He not only agreed to very odd business terms but scheduled and completed the job DURING WINTER - quickly (within 2 weeks of calling). His team and subcontractors were fast, professional and very clean. Our stumps are gone and our yard looks better than ever. Thank you STS! We will definitely work with you and our landlord on other yard improvements!

It went without a hitch...came, cut, cleaned up and did an excellent job.

Greg, Cut down the tree and removed the stump by himself. After removing the stump,he cleaned the surround area,better than any of the prior tree removal service I have had in the past. HE also told me how the care for the area next spring. I would recomment sts stump removal to anyone .

Greg provided a quote for the large stump promptly, but I wasn't able to get the work done right away owing to death in the family. Called back after a month, and set a date to remove the large stump and asked for a quote for the 2 small stumps. However, because of the weather, he wasn't able to do the work on the planned date. After a couple of attempts to reschedule, Greg firmed up an early morning appointment and offered to remove the additional 2 stumps for no additional charge as he felt bad about not getting large stump removed when originally scheduled. Cleaned up all of the grindings from the bed and lawn. I asked if he would take a cart load of rotting firewood. He agreed, which saved me the cost and effort to dispose, Great service and very friendly.

Gregg did a great job taking out the tree stumps and cleaning up the areas. When I contacted him he called back in a few hours and had the job done a few days later. You can see he is a hard worker and takes pride in the job he does and wants to please his customers. We are very happy we selected STS Stump Removal and would use again.

I have to say this is one of the best experiences I have ever had. It may have been a small job, but I have had other small jobs that became horror stories. First of all I received a call back the first day. The estimate was done that evening and he arrived on time. The next day the bushes were removed. Efficient, professional, good clean-up. Had the right equipment too! Now we know how a stump is supposed to be removed!

I am writing to tell you that STS Stump Removal Service never even did me the courtesy of a return call to tell me that they could or could not perform the services required after I called to try and schedule an appointment.

I contacted this company while the contact person was out of town. He promptly emailed me back and with emailed pictures he was able to give me an estimate for the labor. Price was fair.

I submitted a contact form on their company's website on Sunday, April 14th. Gregg from STS called me within an hour or two of submitting the form. He let me know he would be out as soon as possible to give me an estimate, which turned out to be later that afternoon! He left an estimate in my door of $225 which I felt to be very reasonable and he also called me on my cell phone to explain what the estimate was for and describe the work he would perform. He was always very friendly and professional when I spoke with him. I told him he could proceed with the work whenever he is available. He told me it would be either Friday or Saturday when he would be able to get to it which was perfectly acceptable to me. I received a call from him Tuesday afternoon saying that he was all done. Apparently, he wanted to get ahead of the weather that was moving in and get this done. This makes the entire time span from when I contacted Gregg to completion of the job something like 72 hours! I came home and inspected the work and it looked great, he left the area clean and filled in any holes. If I ever have stump work to do again I will be reaching out to Gregg in the future.

Gregg is professional and personable, asked the right questions and offered great advice without overcomplicating the project. He provided an estimated the same day as I called and the project was scheduled approx. 2 weeks from day of estimate - in consideration of our schedule, his schedule, and snow/access to the backyard. They arrived punctually, worked efficiently, cleaned up completely, and confirmed that everything was done to our satisfaction - which it was. Working with Gregg has been our BEST contractor experience since moving to the South Hills area last summer, and a top experience overall even from our previous homes in Central Pa and Charlotte, NC.

Everything went great. I called and left a message. He responded that day. He came out and took a look and gave us an estimate the next day. He showed up when he said he would, and he got everything done quickly and right. And he left the area and driveway cleaner than before he got here! Overall, he was detailed and got the job done.

Overall the service provided was excellent. The prices were fair and Mr Vargo was very professional in his dealings with us. He responded to our requests promptly and was very personable.

I called Gregg to schedule an estimate and he showed up promptly at the time that he said he'd be there. I found the estimate to be very reasonable. He called me 2 days before the job was scheduled to confirm that he would be coming out, and said to expect him to arrive at 9 AM. He arrived on time and got to work immediately. His promptness and professionalism were greatly appreciated, since I have had negative experiences with other people that I have hired to work around my house who showed up hours late or not at all and who didn't bother to call to let me know that they were running late. Gregg worked several hours on the stumps, cleaned up my yard and driveway, and invited me to take a look around to confirm that I was satisfied with everything. I'm very pleased with the job and would hire him again or recomend him to a friend without any hesitation.

FANTASTIC! Our call for an estimate was returned promptly. He came that evening and gave us an estimate on the spot. My husband and I were anticipating a much higher cost with the amount of work that was required. We were both shocked and very thankful for the low cost! We made arrangements for him to come a week later but he was able to come 2 days laters! Very professional, efficient, courteous. The yard looks absolutely fabulous! You can't even tell where the trees were. Our neighbors, friends, family all were very impressed with the quality of work and especially the price. We have more work that will need to be done in the future and will definitely be using STS Stump Removal.

Gregg returned my call promptly and, after he examined my property, we agreed on a price. We set up a mutually agreeable date; Dave showed up on time, with his crew, and went to work. I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently they worked. In just a few hours, my back yard seemed to double in size with all the greenery cut down. They did exactly what I wanted and I will definitely hire them again if such a need arises. They were great!

Beautifully. We talked on the phone, and then I emailed photos of the stumps (with a coffee can in the picture so he could determine the size of the stump by comparing it with the can). He emailed the estimate, and then we spoke to finalize the date and time. When he arrived, he met a neighbor who showed him the stumps. The work was done fast - before I got home from work.

I made an appointment for STS to come and look at the dead tree and provide an estimate. I was given an estimate on the spot. STS was then able to do the job within the next two weeks, which was acceptable. The work was performed as scheduled and was neatly done. As I was not at home when the work was completed, STS followed up with a phone call to ensure that I was satisfied with the work performed.

The stump was a concern due to its proximity to the concrete sidewalk, but Gregg removed it with no damage to the walk. His service was fast and he cleaned the area of debris once completed. Excellent job.

Called vendor and he came out within two days (on way home from vacation). Work was completed within another two days. He was professional and presented options about removal or not. Well satisfied and wouild use again if appropriate.
