The guys from Romano did an excellent job on my roof. They went above and beyond to make sure my job was done correctly and that it will last for years to come.

It was expensive but they were prompt and professional.

Jay from Romano was very easy to work with. The company is very competitively priced and they did an excellent job. They were able to schedule me relatively quickly, showed up on schedule and cleaned up everything after they were finished. I would highly recommend them!

They were thoroughly polite, prompt, and professional, reporting on every step of the process with photos. They arrived when they said they would and worked full days. All debris and material was removed by them, not just left for the streets department as many do. It was a complete roof rebuild, and I am absolutely satisfied with every aspect of the job. They were marvelous to work with, and Jay is the sort of person who makes dealing with a local business a pleasure. He called quickly after I asked for a quotation, explained the entire process, and what could have been a nightmare turned into a dream. I worked in customer service supervision for much of my career, and they maintain the highest standard.

Jay at Romano Roofing is extremely professional & easy to work with. There was a problem with a repair that was done & Jay promptly had it corrected & made sure I was satisfied with the work. Excellent customer service. His roofers do good work, are courteous & leave the property very clean. Romano Roofing is the only Roofing company we will use. We highly recommend them.

Another company told us we needed to replace the whole side of the roof, but Romano ended up repairing it instead and they matched it perfectly with the rest of the roof. The cost was significantly less. They were very prompt, did a great job, and we would definitely hire them again. We would highly recommend them as well.

Gina - Romano Roofing - 215-633-0306 called me on Monday, January 27 after I searched Angie’s list for a roofer. I told her water was coming in like a waterfall from my third floor. We agreed that ‘Jay’ would come out on Wednesday January 29 at 10:00. I told her that my home is three stories and there is no inside access to the roof and asked her to make sure that a ladder long enough to get on my roof was brought. Jay showed up early but did not have the required ladder. I told him I was worried about the possibility of rain. He said the long ladder was with a different truck and he would have that driver come out later that same day. I asked if it was okay that I wouldn’t be home because I had a few appointments that afternoon. He was okay with that. I asked him to take pictures so I could see what was happening on the roof. He said okay. This was between 9:15 and 10:00. Around 3:30 I hadn’t heard from Jay so I sent him a text asking if someone looked at the roof. His only response was ‘Yes’. I texted back ‘how’s it look’. Jay called me and explained there was a problem with the gutter and said it would cost $6,900 to replace gutter (there would be no guarantee or warranty with this fix) or for $8,900 he would replace front half of the roof including the gutter (this would include a guarantee/warranty). I asked him to send me the pictures. The next day I sent a text requesting him to send the pictures again. He said the guy didn’t take any pictures and he would try to have them go back and take some in the next week or so and that he is very busy. Remember I said this was an emergency? Remember I said it was like a waterfall coming into my house? That was the last time I heard from him. My roof is only 8 years old, my husband had it put on before he passed away. I know it is still under warranty, I think it was for 12 years. Since my husband handled the whole transaction I don’t know the name of the roofer. But these prices seemed outrageous. I wound up calling First Response (215-695-655). I spoke with the very helpful, friendly Krissa. Matt came out the very next day. Told me what was wrong (a piece of the roof had blown over and water was coming in through there), sent me pictures showing me the problem and gave me a quote. The job was started the next morning and completed the same day. They also went around my roof and sealed any spots they thought might cause a problem in the near future. It’s been 6 weeks and no more leaks. I paid $650.00 to First Response Roofing, with a warranty for 2 years. Big difference from the quote of $6900 with no warranty from Romano Roofing. I definitely recommend First Response for any roofing problems.

We had 2 other estimates to fix a leak in our parapet wall, and Romano was right in the middle of what they quoted. It was worth it. Jay had to reschedule the first appointment, and was very late for the second appointment, but did call well in advance and apologized when he did arrive, taking full accountability. He fixed the leak in the parapet wall and also pointed out other issues that would've become serious problems down the line if we didn't take care of them. We had him repair them too. He also noted the conditions of our adjoining neighbor's roof and how it might affect our roof over time and that another cause of potential leaks we were having was the masonry of our brickwork. He was really helpful by pointing these things out, which don't benefit Romano Roofing in any direct way.

the estimator stopped by but never got back with an estimate, even after I called.

Found flashing in our yard. We were told that our roof was missing ALL the flashing and 6 feet of roof would need to be replaced by another roofer caulking roof vents. That sounded expensive. We called Romano's who came out promptly, sent pictures of our roof (Yes, I can identify my roof). Inspected the roof and determined the flashing was in place and no repairs needed. Because of age we probably will need a new roof in 2 yrs. Cost $99.00. We will definitely call this company again!!!

Excellent. Great customer service. Assisted me with color and materials. Contractors arrrived when scheduled. Roof is beautiful. Left the premises clean and spotless. Price was exactly as negotiated. I would highly recommend Romano Roofing. You will not be disappointed.

They are really awesome. They have done such an excellent job. They will be replacing my whole roof later this year.

The work was well done and thorough. It's so nice to not have a leak where the addition meets the garage--finally! I wish J and the crew had done the original roof work.

I live in Arizona and needed this work done on a house I own in New Jersey. My first thought was Angie's List because I don't know any roofers in NJ. I found Romano's and within 4 days the job was done and done well. These guys were also professional enough to handle the entire transaction using mobile photos and email. I couldn't have asked for a better experience than using Romano's

Good. Finished in one day. Very good price. The estimator, Jay, is a great guy and won't hesitate to contact him again for my next home. Looks really good! Workers were pro.

I chose Romano based on the high number of great ratings and reviews I found on Yelp, HomeAdvisor, etc. The woman that scheduled my quote was very helpful and got me an appointment the same week but warned that the estimator may be a little late due to heavy traffic coming into the city at the time. On the day of my estimate, I waited for an hour past my appointment time before calling back and checking with the dispatcher. She said she would contact the estimator and get back to me. I received a phone call a few minutes later informing me that he could not come to the house and give me a quote because the rainy conditions made it unsafe to go on the roof. I was very disappointed that I had not been notified prior to my appointment about this, but the estimator apologized and said he would stop by the following week and leave a quote in my door. It has now been 2 weeks and I have heard nothing. Despite all of the glowing reviews of Romano Roofing, I will not chase them around for an estimate when there are plenty of other roofers that would happily take my business.

They came out on time and did a good job. There were 2 minor issues but  they came back out and fixed those issues.

I spoke with Christine at the office to do the scheduling. She was awesome! Very pleasant to speak. Jay did a great job handling the inspection for me even with the problems that I caused myself, lol!
