Romano Roofing did a great job as always! Our home is almost 180 years old with multiple stone chimneys and old slate roof. Since buying the home, we have experienced water leaks due to poor chimney flashing's, mortar cracks and absorption, and failed chimney caps. In this instance, Romano roofing sealed the last of our chimney's that was absorbing water through the mortar. The repaired chimney was on top of high elevated pitched slate tile roof that need to be walked on with delicate care so not to break the slate tiles. No more leaks and we will continue to hire Romano Roofing in the future.

The original roof on my house had a design flaw that
prevented rain water from draining completely resulting in some pooling along
the eave?s edge. These puddles would eventually dry through evaporation but
over the years this constant cycle of pooling and evaporation deteriorated the
roof?s affected surface resulting in leakages.
Nathan and Oscar from Romano Roofing came up with a solution
that was both creative and very effective. They reshaped the lower end of the
roof line into a swale-like form that captures all the runoff rain water and
directs it into the downspout. No more puddles, no more leaks; they did a
beautiful job and I couldn?t be more pleased. I was equally impressed with
Nathan and Oscar because it was evident that they really cared about getting
this problem resolved properly. They worked tirelessly and they were
professional in all respects. Romano Roofing certainly delivered for me and at
a very reasonable price. Needless to say, based on my experience with them, I
would certainly recommend them without hesitation.

I highly recommend this company for any of your roofing, siding, gutter needs. I was so satisfied with the price, the professionalism, the clean up, the time and attention given to me with my roofing issues. I have had several companies come out, and the job was not taken care of the right way. Romano knew exactly what I needed and did not overcharge or try and sell me something to just make money. They were attentive to getting the job done the right way, to make me comfortable in getting the job done. The entire process went exceptionally well. Jay came out and offered sound advice on how to repair the roof and how the installation would work. The installers were professional and did a nice job with the roof and with the clean up.

Romano Roofing: 2424 State Road Suite 4 Bensalem, PA 19020 (267-685-9762) After an expensive and disappointing failure to repair a leak in our living room ceiling by another roofer (see my review of Rutter Roofing), Romano stepped in and did the job right the first time. I?ve waited for several hard rains before submitting this review. They even repaired another problem on the other end of the house (since we?re here), at no extra cost. I highly recommend Romano.

We have lived at our home for 10 years. The previous owners did not know the age of the roof. Recently we started to experience a leak at the overhang of our front door. At this time, my husband and I decided to get some estimates on a roof. We had at least three different roofing companies come out to our home for estimates. It was not fun! We were given a range of very high prices and never felt more than just another job to each contractor that came out. We almost gave up until we found Romano Roofing on Angie’s List. The reviews were great and we decided to try one more time. We are so happy we did. Jay came and gave us a truly fair estimate that included all the best warranties and even different options for paying. He was polite and even after the work was done is always available for any questions. We are extremely happy with our new roof. The workers did an awesome job. They respected our home. We never had to sign anything to give our rights away due to damage done to our property, like other contractors would have had us sign. Getting a roof done is very stressful and expensive. Romano Roofing understands and takes the extra steps necessary to set them apart from everyone else. We couldn’t be happier with the job. The project went well from beginning to end. First, Jay arrived on time to give a fair and accurate estimate. After acceptance, Romano Roofing arrived when they said they would and did the job with no problems. The workman were polite and did a great job. Very satisfied. It was a small job, and Romano Roofing treated it as just as important as their large jobs.

The workers were polite and cleaned up every day before they left.
They removed two layers of shingle roof and replaced with a new roof. We had a lot of rotted plywood which was all replaced and caused the price of the roof to increase. They explained the cost and even gave me extra time to pay the extra costs. He really worked with me. Romano exceeded in customer satisfaction. They were on time and very professional.

I am extremely pleased with Romano Roofing. All work was done professionally and in a timely matter. All the workers were polite and courteous and literally worked the entire day. The owner was onsite everyday and explained thoroughly what work was being done that particular day. It went very well. The job was explained to me very thoroughly beforehand. All the agreed upon work dates and prices were clearly communicated. They were prompt and kept to the exact terms we agreed to before the job had started. Before they completed the transaction, they made sure I was happy with all aspects of the job. My experience with Romano Roofing was overall unsatisfactory and rather frustrating. I initially hired them for installation of a roof railing system to attach to a pre-fabricated spiral staircase, there was no deck planned in the initial discussions to keep costs down. The railing was installed as discussed, but in the process of getting the staircase installed I discovered that a permit was never obtained for the project and in the meantime, the initial contractor I was working with disappeared and I found myself working with the owner of the company, and things were being presented to me differently than they had been with the first contractor. At that point I insisted the project be halted until a permit could be obtained, we then entered a 2-year stalemate with the city, with multiple variations of the project emerging to try to get a permit. It soon became clear that the company did not have the needed experience dealing with the city to pull off the project correctly and I kept feeling pressured to proceed with the project with no permit. After my continued refusals to finish the deck with no permit I eventually just stopped hearing back from the company. Now I have an unusable railing sitting on my roof, with no way to get on the roof, and am no closer to getting a deck, or even roof access than I was in the beginning. I'll give it to Romano that the owner did try his best to salvage a bad situation that one of his contractors left him, but in the end I'm out several thousand dollars, and a few years later, with no finished project to show for it.

Romano Roofing performed the agreed upon work on time and as expected. Even though I would consider this a small job by roofing standards, Romano Roofing was always quick to respond to an email or a text and I did not have to take any time off from work to wait for a visit or anything that was an inconvenience.
As a homeowner who relies on contractors all the time for jobs big and small, the most important thing to me is always how the company treats me personally and Romano Roofing treated me very well and returned every call, text and email quickly and with the information I needed.

Most competitive price of three angie's list "A" rated roofers. Romano's provided a free new attic fan after them provided the estimate. They were very clean and professional. I would use them again and refer them to friends and family. Great contractor.

Working with Romano Roofing was an effortless and excellent experience. We saw roof shingles lying in our garden and knew that we had to find someone to determine the extent of damage on the roof. Given the reviews for Romano on Angie's List, we decided to give them a shot at fixing the roof. The service technician showed up early and told us he would take a look and let us know what needed attention. He explained that the basic service charge to replace shingles and re-caulk was $175, and that it would be higher only if there were more extensive issues. He then inspected the roof to determine what had to be done and left (totally unobtrusive!). Later that day we received an email quote for the work for $175, just as indicated. We signed the quote, with an expected work date of 4/15, and emailed it back. On 4/13 the service team showed up, repaired the roof and left everything neat and tidy. Absolutely no issues or concerns.
As we will probably need to replace our roof within the next 3 to 4 years, we also asked Romano for, and received, a quote to replace the roof. It was a bit higher than we guessed it would be, but we honestly had no idea what to expect. Given the professionalism and ease of working with Romano, it is very likely they will be our contractor of choice when we are ready to replace the roof.

Jay was courteous ,responsive and prompt with his estimate. His crew was there right on time, got straight to their work, and did a marvelous job putting on a whole new roof. They even were kind enough to text me pictures of the job as it progressed.They cleaned up after the job , and Romano Roofing called me back to see how the job went.I would highly recommend them to anyone needing roof repair or replacement.Very impressed!!

For the past several years we've been contemplating replacing our skylight yet been putting it off. After getting several prices, and thinking of doing it myself, I spoke with a work colleague who gave me the phone number for Romano Roofing as he had gotten work done by Romano and had high regards for them. After calling and setting up a free estimate, Ray showed up when expected to check out the job. After sending me the estimate a date for installation was set.
The installers showed up on time, and the entire job was completed in about an hour.... including cleanup.
They did a great job...looks great....adds some curb appeal to my house!
