Jim Rutherford was able to help me choose the perfect flooring for my needs - water proof, not cold like tile, not slippery or hollow sounding like engineered / laminate at my other house, didn't scratch easily like real hard wood, and easy to clean and maintain. I'm very satisfied with the Coretec plus luxury vinyl tile floors that Jim installed in my living room, dining room and halls. He took the time to make sure the pattern of the tiles for the hallway were spaced properly as I was very particular about that (clearly I was not an easy client to please, but he was very patient with me). He was meticulous, cleaned up before leaving every day, was easy to work with, always replied to any questions I had in a timely manner, and his price was very competetive. I would highly recommend and would definitely hire should i decide to do the rest of my house. Thanks, Jim!

Jim is a pro. He is pleasant, straightforward, and knowledgeable. He and his co-worker did a great job installing flooring that had purchased and never installed. Jim was even nice enough to repair a couple of my DIY mistakes in rooms that I had installed. We have future work planned and Jim and his team will be doing it!

Knew I was in a bit of a rush. Didn't promise me anything early in their schedule, but was able to fit me in earlier than expected anyways. They came in to pull the carpet flat for me, and now it looks great. Would hire them for any flooring project in the future.

Do-it-yourself project (lamiate flooring) was tougher to tackle than expected. Jim came in on Monday for a quote. Job was finished on Friday. Jim and his crew were courteous and hard working. All aspects were explained. Would definitely hire again!

Customer service was fantastic! We had a damaged stair from a previous owners cat and didn't have any extra carpet to repair. During the estimate he came up with a wonderful solution. The stair is completely fixed and we now also have a great looking nook with wood flooring. He was extremely reasonable cost wise and his work is top notch. Jim was very nice. He took the time to come out and look at the project before giving us an estimate. One of the contractors quoted a price over the phone, the other gave us a grossly inflated price, and gave us a rug cleaning sales pitch, also over the phone. Needless to say when Jim came out and gave us a very fair price, we gave him the job on the spot. He completed the work within the agreed time frame. I contacted Jim several weeks before moving in my home and he was able to give me some directional information and was engaging from the onset in his interest to do the job (not the case with all flooring folks). Once we were in our home, Jim was immediatley at the house, measuring, confirming costs, and scheduling. Since then, we've started work and he's doing excellent work with quality workmanship and maintaining a clean workplace. I'd highly recommend this contractor for wood flooring and carpeting.
