If I could give additional stars, I would! We had a large pin oak tree that was at least 60 feet tall and was losing limb after limb each year. We had just recently 2 very large swamp maples taken out for $2100 including stump grinding for both, by our local contractor that we have been employing on an annual basis for the last 19 years. For years we never even bothered to check for other quotes because they were always excellent, reliable, and reasonable. However, when this oak tree came for pricing, the quote my trusted tree service contractor gave me did not feel right at $3700 ($4100-400 winter discount). That is when I felt like it was their pay-day especially during low season. So, I had 10 contractors on my list, 8 contractors come out ranging up to $4,000 some trying to up-sell me because their equipment would damage my asphalt etc.... I cancelled the other 2 contractors when I decided to go with Carlos P. LLC who not only was reasonable in quote and timing, but also recommended by both Home Advisors and Angies List, is fully insured, has an average of 4.7/5 review rating, and was ready to do the job this week. So, we took a chance and a leap of faith. We are glad we did! Carlos gave me the quote on Wednesday and showed up on time two days later as promised and on time. Carlos and all employees wore proper gear, harness, helmets and safety was definitely #1 on their list. This included not only their personal safety, but also the surroundings of my property (fence, roof, other trees...) They were quick, efficient, and super professional. Clean up was meticulous. I strongly recommend Carlos P. L.L.C to anyone who needs tree work done. This is one business card that is staying on the side of our refrigerator because we have more trees that will need to go in the near future. To Carlos and his team... Thank you!

Tremendous experience. Went on trip advisor one day, Carlos came out to give me a quote that evening, and the work was completed the next morning. Such good service that many other neighbors in my development also used him. Detail oriented work. The best!!!

These guys were amazing. Over the past 3 years I've hired 3 other tree removal services and Tomahawk was hands down, the best. They were prompt, thorough, explained everything, delivered exactly what they promised when they promised it and cleaned up completely. And their price was totally reasonable. I've alresdy referred them to several neighbors who are also satisfied. I would definitely use them again.

I delt with Carlos himself. He gave me a quote on the spot. His price was reasonable. Came the next day, worked 2 days and cleaned up any twigs, branches, etc.

I hired Carlos P to remove a large (60'+) oak tree. A large branch had fallen and the threat of another falling put us into a situation where we needed the tree taken down as quickly as possible. I got two estimates (out of 5 phone calls), and Carlos came in as the lowest by $200. In addition, they were able to get the tree down days before the other company. The crew was on time and worked very quickly and efficiently to remove the tree. However, had I known that the company did NOT have a crane and flatbed truck to assist with the removal, I would have gladly paid the extra $200 for the other company. In the end, my yard looked like a war zone from the large branches impacting the grass when they fell, not to mention the small craters left where the main trunk fell. On top of that, due to the lack of a crane, the workers were forced to cut the massive trunk section into "small" manageable pieces. This meant cutting the trunk into upwards of 20 sections, which left my lawn covered in mounds of sawdust. Despite their best efforts with a gas powered leaf blower, the lawn still has a fair amount of sawdust coating it. Although they did attempt to fix the damage to the lawn, it fell well short of restoring it to normal. I'll have to buy numerous bags of soil in order to fill the divots and depressions in the lawn, and I'll also need to put grass seed down where the grass is missing completely. In summary: PROS - Lowest price. On time. Courteous. Did try to clean up. CONS - No crane. Moderate damage to the lawn as a result of not having a crane. Lack of crane resulted in ridiculous amount of sawdust in the lawn. Clean-up fell short. Not worth the money saved dealing with the lawn damage. I could recommend Carlos P for small tree removals, but definitely would NOT recommend them if you have a very large tree.

Carlos and his crew are Amazing. Arrived early removed tree from our pool and with very little work space topped 3 other very large trees. very efficiently removing all debris cleaning up and leaving within an hour and a half. Very pleasant competent people. Highly recommend!

As promised over the phone, they did end up giving us the lowest price of multiple estimates, they arrived early, came out right away to complete the work, cleaned up afterwards and even put our fence back together (we not expect them to do that at all)! Would highly recommend them!!
