Sandra W. Toran Heating and Air Conditioning installed a new gas heater in my home in the fall of 2017. It performed well, especially during the winter artic blast and I have had no problems with the system at all. I have been very pleased with the energy savings on my heating bill. Mr. Toran was hired because of his reputation and his prompt attention to detail. The entire team was professional, prompt, and courteous. the work was done in a timely fashion and the workers took care to clean their work area. I would highly recommend them.

They weren't very clean but in their defense, we were in the middle of rewiring, and a lot of other projects so the house wasn't very clean to begin with. But, the central air unit is wonderful. It is out of the way and I think they did a great job.

Mr. Toran never discussed with me the Efficiency Level of the to-be-installed water boiler. I probably never directly said, "I want the most efficient water boiler you can get me. I am willing to pay more to get it." That was my mistake. I tried to think of everything I needed to talk about, but I failed on this crucial point. But hey, shouldn't this be one of the routinely-discussed aspects of the job? Couldn't he have brought it up? They installed a bottom-of-the-line efficiency-rated new water boiler in my basement. (80.0 is the lowest available rating; they installed 80.1). The efficiency of the 50+-year-old oil-fueled boiler they took out was even better than the new natural gas one they put in, amazingly! Also, I had a tremendous clean-up job all around the installation site, which I thought they could have done. Art Toran even looked at that mess and said, "That's fine." I would recommend this company IF you discuss and get in writing the efficiency level of your new equipment, and IF you specify in writing that the work site is to be left clean. They did come back twice to take care of a couple of minor problems they left behind them, and they were attentive and courteous during those visits. Art Toran was good to work with over the phone during the whole process.
