MapleTree designed and built a beautiful cherry secretary for us. I loved the ability to collaborate with MapleTree?s staff, who really grasped my vision for the secretary and added unique ideas for extra storage and maximizing usable space. After we ordered, we were even more impressed. MapleTree is the place to go if you want a custom-made heirloom-quality piece of furniture. It isn?t cheap, but you get what you pay for and MapleTree?s craftsmanship and attention to detail are impeccable. 

When we began our discussion of what we needed, I must admit that I did not expect to be dealing with the President and owner of Mapletree Furnituremakers. We began with our initial ideas and sketches, and they took them, refined them and created a ?masterpiece?, just as they had promised. To say that no detail was overlooked would be an understatement. The numerous emails, suggested improvements, and the patience required when dealing with the public, are all signs of a dedicated and committed organization. The end result was a beautiful custom designed piece of furniture, created with our satisfaction in mind, and their expertise as a part of the blueprint; something that I?m sure, is a part of every piece created by Mapletree. It was refreshing to work with a company that was dedicated to our satisfaction. That is something you do not encounter everyday.

We are proud of our cabinet that Mapletree created for us and get to admire it daily. We are equally proud to have created this relationship with Mapletree and, should the need arise for another masterpiece, we know exactly where we will begin.

1.  Peter came to our house and talked with us about what would be housed in the furniture.
2.  Peter drew a free hand rendering to our specifications.
3.  He sent us a final draft.
4.  We visited the Maple Tree factory and chose our finish and handles.
5.  We visited a few more times just to enjoy seeing the piece being made.
6.   His team delivered and installed the furniture.
7.  One of the drawers was a little "sticky" and someone came back and adjusted it.
We had the piece built so that it could be used as is or separated and used as individual pieces. We plan to take it with us when we move.  It is a piece that I would be proud to pass along to my children.
