The bathroom looked attractive overall, although the painting and tile was sloppy. The shower has a bad leak so that water goes through the floor into the room below. We made many attempts to contact them to get this fixed, but they never got back to us.

I hired Elisio for an full siding job after and insurance payout for hail damage. I initially contacted them via Angie's email inquiring about their services and printed off a coupon. They never contacted me. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, assuming not all small companies are great about email, I called them about 2 months later. Initially everything seemed great. I spoke to the office receptionist/scheduler and she sent out a rep who went over my insurance estimate line by line pointing out where things were a bit off and miscalculated, as well as no allotment for ordinance and law, codes or permits or a second dumpster. We decided upon a great siding product from Allside with interlocking insulation, and i was given and Angie's list discount. I signed a contract for the siding work, and gave him all the information for the insurance company. The rep assured me that he would take care of calling the insurance company and submitting a new detailed estimate, outlining the discrepancies and getting an adjuster to come out so they could re-walk the job. He told me the process would take two weeks. They  signed the waiver of lien with the bank so they could get Elisio Builder's as a co-payee on my insurance check that was in escrow with my mortgage company. Well 10 days went by I had not heard a word after that. Then the receptionist/scheduler called to schedule my job. I asked her about the insurance estimate and the adjuster and she said she had no idea what i was talking about and I whatever i talked about with the Rep she sent out was between me and that rep. This is when i got suspicious. I called the insurance company. They told me they had never heard of Elisio, and there had been no activity on the claim since Dec (it was now April). I called Elisio and asked to speak to the rep, he called me back and changed his story. He said that he was not going to send the estimate or contact the insurance company until the initial rip of the old siding was complete, and that the adjuster would be called to the job site that day. He assured me that was the best way to ensure little pushback from the insurance if the adjuster was called back to the site. I scheduled the job, but felt uneasy about Elisio so I decided to drive up to the job site the day they were to start. I don't live in the home and they knew that, i am under the impression they believed they could cut corners since i live over 100 miles away. When I arrived on site there was 1 person there ripping my siding and 1 person cleaning and loading the debris into a pickup truck (not a dumpster!) and when the truck go full they would drive to the scrap metal yard and sell my aluminum siding for money and come back and rip some more There were no permits pulled. I was told the Rep would be there, the adjuster would be  scheduled to be there and that the job was going to take 3 - 4 days, and permits would be pulled and dumpster brought in. I waited and watched for a few hours and called the office and the cell phone of the rep, who was no where to be found. The office receptionist gave me a song and dance to cover for him. At 2 PM i called her and reminded her that i elected to have periodic inspections with my mortgage company and i would refuse to certify the work as to my satisfaction and release another check if i did not hear from the Elisio Rep/Job manager. Amazingly my phone rand 20 minutes later after hunting him all day. He gave me more song dance and excuses. I asked him why my insurance company had not been contacted, why he was not there, when would he arrive, and when the estimate would be sent. He again changed his story. This time he told me the estimate had been faxed weeks ago and he had forgotten to put my claim number on it. He said he didn't know why they had not returned any of his phone calls, and that he would arrive on the job on Tuesday (the job was scheduled to end on sunday). He pretended to coordinate with me and assured me the insurance adjuster would be sent out and would meet us at the job site Tuesday. I never heard from the Rep again after that day. He refused to answer my calls, and never returned my messages. I called my insurance company and check on the status, they would confirm Elisio had done nothing they were directed to do by insurance company. I had to initiate a conference call to try to force Elisio into action to complete the revised estimate they were required to turn in, but still to no avail. Finally after involving lawyers I terminated their contract and  hired another contractor to finish the job Elisio started.

The job went well overall.  We caused some delays through being slow in selecting items and paint colors and then there were delays in obtaining items we specified.  One final delay was because the shower control handle we had picked was unavailable and the first replacement was not acceptable.  Because of these issues the job took considerably longer that either Elisio or we planned.  The actual work was always done very well by very professional and pleasant workers who clearly knew their crafts.  They worked efficiently and neatly.   In almost all cases work schedules were pre-coordinated with us and workers arrived when expected.  We felt comfortable leaving them in our house alone to work when we could not be there.

When we were there they worked with very little disturbance to us.

We are very pleased with the final result.

If we were to do another project with them, and we may, we would make sure that everything needed was identified, ordered and delivered, or at least had delivery dates established, before the work started.

We had a guy that came to work, was squared away without doing it. When the inspector came, he had to make them stop doing it because it was not right, so they came back and furnished it up. Next time, we had some weather-related problems, so a lamp fell across the line and pulled the faucet and that was without incident. Then the next time, they did some demolishing and installed a stone, but they didn’t have the guy that did the stone. This job probably takes only a week, but they were here from September through November and they had a guy that brought the wrong stone once. Again after sometime I called them because my portico roof started leaking and they didn't come to work on it. I would not recommend them and I would not use them again in the future.

Elisio's crew arrived bright and early each morning. Despite wintery conditions (snow, sleet and bitter cold) the men worked from 7:30 to dusk with seldom a break except for lunch. Each of the men, from the project manager to the installers were polite, professional, and willing to answer or respond to any question. Though offers of lunch or snacks were given, the men politely refused and continued with their work. Upon completion of the work, the project manager asked that I walk around the house and indicate any final requests, such as moving a utility shed back, or cleaning the gutters of any debris. The punch list was responded to quickly, though the gutter work and final removal of yard debris could not occur due to a fresh layer of snow. An attempt was made several days later to clean out the gutters, but they remained ice impacted. Although eventually, after an early thaw, the crew arrived to clean up the yard debris and the gutters, I had already done most of this - as well as hired someone to clear the gutters. My time and the amount paid to clean the gutters was compensated for by the company by removing an amount that was fair from the final payment. Each of the workers deserve commendation - as well as the company. Jana as well, who I am calling the office manager (though I am not sure of her company title) is amazing as well and deserves to be equally recognized. I will definitely use this company again - and intend to when seeking to remodel our kitchen.

I'm very pleased with them. They didn't make any mess and leave any mess. They were really nice. In fact I wanted to have a damaged fixed from him; but he told me to wait and make sure that no water comes in, before a new wallboard could be put in. The attitude which they had is that, they didn’t want one more job until they knew that they had the first job held up. They really wanted to wait and make sure that no water came in. The people who came in were nice. When they came they told me that some extra work had to be done on the roof. They were upfront. Their price was very reasonable and not high; it was worth it. They were just like the regular guys. They were respectful and nice. The quality of work was good. There’s no leak so far; and that's important to me. My family room was leaking for ten years. People came in and literally ruined my house. I went into bankruptcy before I could get any money. They came and did the work. I didn’t have to worry about my family roof floor for Christmas. I would hire them again because I had a lot of nuts who came before them. I'm planning to use them in the future.

I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. I feel like they vastly overcharged me. I also supplied my own hardware. They weren't very responsive. I even took them to small claims court.

English spoken here! It went well - from start to finish. I have used another very VERY highly rated provider in this category and I was pleased with their work but...I couldn't understand them! They didn't speak English and this job required some explaining and coordination on my part. I called Elisio and someone came out to give me an estimate and I gave them the okay to start. They couldn't begin right away because the weather was holding up their currently scheduled work. They kept in contact with me until the weather cooperated. I wasn't home the first day they came but even in the dark I could see an improvement to the house. It's only 6 years old but was poorly finished by the builder. Elisio painted the lintels above the first floor window and prepared the front portico and back porch for painting. The original builders trimmed the second floor dormers with "inside" wooden trim and slapped 1 coat of primer on them (which had chipped and eroded in the interim). Elisio replaced that with Azek so it would be very low maintenance. They also filled in a gap above the front door portico where hornets were flying in and out all summer. And they mitered the original aluminum trim so it looked nice. They placed several coats of paint on everything and walked around with me at the end of the final 2 days to insure I was happy with their progress and if I had any comments. On the second day I decided that I wasn't happy with the front dormers. Elisio did the best they could but the original construction left large gaps between the different pieces that they were unable to camouflage. We came up with a solution that increased the price by $600 but they didn't pressure me to have it done. I figured - pay more and have them do it correctly then to have it bother me. They were very patient and understanding with my change in plans and arranged to have all the materials ready the next day. It turned out great - I'm very pleased. They even left the remaining paint in case I need to do touch-ups in the future. They called one week after the job was finished to make sure I was happy. And they just called again (1 month later) to make sure I was still happy. I was and am - I will use them again in the future!

I received several estimates and then decided to go with Elisio Brothers. They started work on time and they worked every day weather permitting. I had a laundry list of little things (electrical outlets, removal of radiators). The employees were hard-working and corteous. I was able to get a hold of the project manager (Sal) without problems. All the work was listed in detail. The siding, gutter and downspouts were replaced. 27 windows were replaced. After the wall between a small kitchen and a small den was removed to make a large kitchen, we realized that we needed to have the floor on the kitchen done. Elisio Builders was prompt in adding that work on and getting it done. They tried to match the new hardwood floor on the old kitchen side to the old hardwood floor on the den side. They did a really good job with it. They worked fast and efficiently.

Our home was built in 1984, and needless to say, the windows and siding were in desperate need of replacement. On top of that, our chimney had pulled away from house, causing one wall to leak whenever we had wind and rain. While attending the home show at Valley Forge, we came in contact with Elisio Builders. I uncharacteristically gave them our name and number, and I'm glad I did. We received a courteous follow up call from them and as we weren't available during the week, set up the appointment for the estimate for early on a Saturday morning. Sal arrived on time. He listened to our preferences, made informed suggestions, inspected the home, took pictures and showed us his samples and also encouraged us to visit their other nearby worksites. While his estimated cost was in line with others we received, he was the only one who took our preferences into consideration. The crew, Sam, Larry and Sal, were professional, friendly and courteous, not only to us, but to our neighbors as well. They took care to clean up the debris, especially any that may have fallen on the neighboring properties. The heat was excessive, and they had to deal with a few rain storms, but never lost their sense of humor. They went above and beyond for us by fixing a leaking seal on our roof. Once the job was completed, we found a few minor things that needed to be completed. Their responsiveness to our concerns was much appreciated. We are very happy with the results, and would use Elisio builders for our future remodeling needs.

They were very good, I was very pleased with the work. They are very confident workers, very professional and when there was an issue after a job was done they would jump right to fixing it. You can trust them. My use of them again is proof of my rating.

The experience with Sal (the Rep) was great. He was very helpful in guiding us to stick to budget and choose the best materials. When we were at a road block he was able to find solutions. All of the men who worked on our home were neat and respectful. The stone is incredible. We love it!

Excellent. Sales person, Anthony was very knowledge about the work we needed to be done. Jobs were done promptly, thoroughly and each crew cleaned up completely before they left. ALso they were all very personable and respectful of our house, e.g. shoe covers, etc.

The job was considered a small job and it seems like they usually do much bigger jobs. They were very nice and helpful. The employee who came over to talk with me and review my problem was very good. He was very professional and listened to what I had to say then looked at the problem. He sent over a crew and everything was fine. The next time it rained we had the same issue and so we called them to come back. They were responsive and came back within just a few days and took care of our needs with no problems. I had a company come previous to them who tried one fix and it didn't work but then they would not respond when I alerted them of this. Elisio explained what they thought the problem was and what they would attempt to do to fix it. Everything made sense to me and they also expressed other concerns they had about the job and potential problems that could arise. I thought they were very thorough and professional through out the whole process from the estimate to the crew who did the job.

I couldn’t find anybody else to make me wrought iron puffs, except for Elisio Builders Pro. They were the only company that did the entire work, while other companies did only partial work. The guys from Elisio Builders Pro came out and did the work. I wasn’t home while they came out. Later, there were few things I wasn’t particularly happy with; they came right back out and corrected them. I needed extra metal in my puffs. I needed some modifications in what they had done earlier and they did them. They were very accommodating. They sat with me and told me that they wanted to make sure that their customers were very happy. They said that their only goal was to keep their customers happy. They were very courteous. They would call me at home or at my workplace. We eventually sat together and worked everything out. Their price was okay for the work they did. There was no competition, as they were the only company that made wrought iron puffs. They were very responsive about every call I made. I wasn’t at home when the work was done; so I can’t comment on their punctuality. They were very professional. I am satisfied with the quality of their work so far.

They were okay, but they didn't completely do what they said they were going to do. They gave me an estimate and the price I paid in the end was close to that. They didn't follow through on certain things like I asked for specs on my windows and I never got them. They never completed the finishing work in my house and I had someone else come in to finish it. I was supposed to have the same locks on my sliding glass doors, but they are all different.

High winds before Valentines' Day tore off the siding from one side of our cape. Underneath was no tar paper or weatherising house wrap, so we were concerned about water damage between now and when the repair will actually take place. We called 3 contractors, two on friend's recommendations and we also called the top company in the siding cagtegory on Angie's List: Elisio Builders. Elisio's called back first and scheduled someone to come out at 7:30am the next day. The next day, at 7am, a truck arrived and the man quickly got to work putting up tar paper of some kind and making sure the remaining strips of siding were secure and that it would hold for a while through more wind and rain. It seemed clear to the contractor that the siding was installed incorrectly to begin with and he proceeded to inspect the rest of the house. Since there was no paper behind the siding, I'm willing to believe him. When he first pulled up, however, he looked at the siding and jokingly said, "Home Depot Special", meaning that it was cheap siding; it was actually CertainTeed. When a homeowner is trying to deal with the shock of damage to their home, this kind of disparaging - and IMO unprofessional - remark right off the bat may not sit well; it didn't with me.

Very well. They did what they said they would. I called for an appointment and they came with samples and at a time convenient for both my husband and me within our schedule. The representative explained what they would do in detail and counted the windows that needed to capped in vinyl. We also asked about replacing a window and he provided a separate estimate for that. We decided not to replace the window, but to cap all the windows in vinyl. They called within a week and told us when they would be coming to do the job- all within a week of the first call. They arrived on the specified day and got right to work. They were polite and courteous and got right to work. It was supposed to be a one day job but the weather created an issue which made it necessary for them to complete the work the next day. Each window that needed to be capped was individually fitted with the vinyl capping. They arrived promptly, did the work, cleaned up the mess and did everything start to finish within a week of the first call.

The work that they did was top quality. In addition they are very pleasant to work with and follow up with phone calls and visits as the work progresses. They did everything they promised and more in a timely manner. The company is family owned and they obviously take pride in their work. There pricing was very competitive. When they found additional and unexpected issues with the outside walls of our 1925 house they were very open about additional costs needed to remove it, showed us the problem, and were cooperative in dealing with the situation. I would use them again in a heart beat and feel very comfortable recommending them.
