"We are sorry to hear the disappointment from this customer. Dr. & Mrs.did visit the owner's home June of 2015. The couple left their contact information. Rock Solid tried to contact this customer; unfortunately the number just rang- no answering machine to leave message. Rock Solid would be happy to provide an estimate if they have a problem that Rock Solid can help them with."
The process was as described, took several hours. Slab and steps were brought back to proper height and level. Nothing but foot traffic and hoses on the yard. Holes drilled in the slabs/steps were filled with concrete. My only recommendation would be trying to get a better match between existing sidewalk color and concrete fill color.
Work carries a 1 year guarantee, so as the Fall approaches, we'll check for stability of the slab.
Robert and his crew showed up at 7:30am, went right to work, and were done by 2:00pm. Work was outstanding and even some minor problems not covered in the proposal were corrected. The work site was left as clean as when they started.
"Robert Mastromatto, President of Rock Solid, Inc. and all of the employees of Rock Solid were extremely disappointed to read the review posted by Mr. Ronald Cellini. We would like to apologize to [member name removed] for not providing a positive experience. We were surprised by the review because we did not perform any work for [member name removed]. It appears his disappointment was- how obtaining and receiving an estimate was handled. He expressed unhappiness with receiving a timely response for a solution to his concrete repair problem. To briefly explain this situation, [member name removed] e-mailed Rock Solid requesting an estimate. The same day we responded to his e-mail advising him the following; if he was able take pictures and send them to us we would let him know if we could help (this process normally works very well). Also, we did offered to visit his home for an estimate. There was a delay in our ability to schedule an estimate to his location. Eventually, he did send us pictures, unfortunately we were unable to view them and we notified him of the problem. The pictures were sent again to us, we viewed them and sent a response within 24 hours. We responded to [member name removed], advising him our process of repair would not be an effective solution in his situation. He had a smaller concrete repair and considering the distance of travel to his location and that the lifting process we use would not produce the desired results, we felt he would be better served by a local contractor. Our objective at Rock Solid, Inc. is help our customers by saving them time and money on their concrete repairs. We wanted to be honest with [member name removed], therefore in his situation we believed Rock Solid was not able to offer the best and the most cost effective solution for the repair he needed. We regret any dissatisfaction he experienced, we always strive to be professional, responsive, and helpful. We have been in business for over 30 years and have many satisfied customers."
