Description of Work: Repair leak in roof. Removed damaged drywall, replaced with new drywall and painted bathroom. Removed paneling from portion of two walls in bedroom, repaired walls to be painted and installed new drywall in closet. Repaired portion of living room wall and painted wall and ceiling.

Description of Work: Nicholas came to my house for an estimate. He told me be would get in contact with me soon after to give me my estimate. I never heard from him again. He didn't call or send me any type of estimate. He just basically forgot about me.

 + -1 moreNicholas Builders and all sub-contractors I've dealt with take the time to explain every detail that they may incur and any that come up along the way. Nothing is ever done without your approval. They take the time to cover all high traffic areas with tarps and plastic. My downstairs bathroom had to be gutted and re-done to be done correctly - pictures will follow. Everything was removed from the bathroom, floor and all. The shower drain was repositioned and the floor leveled. The shower and shower head were installed properly. They relaid the flooring, reinstalled the sink and the toilet, painted and cleaned up.
Description of Work: Had four jobs completed by Nicholas Builders for the above price: 1) A complete tear out and remodel of full bath 2) Tear out and install of a walk in shower in upstairs bath 3) Glass back splash through upstairs kitchen 4) Repair to garage ceiling Nick came in and gutted my downstairs bathroom that previous contractor had messed up. He brought in his plumber and electrician and together, as a team, figured out the best, cost effective way to fix everything. Every detail was explained before and during the process and the entire project was completed in three days! I have not had one issue with the bathroom since.Also had a walk in shower installed in the upstairs bathroom. Again, Nick and his plumber worked together to achieve the best, cost effective way to complete the job. The walk-in shower upstairs was completed in two days and have had no issues with it either.Also had Nick install a glass tile back splash in the kitchen, again did an excellent job and was done in one day.Added bonus - Nick and his sub-contractors always clean up after they're done and they do a superior job (shame they don't hire out for maid service too). Have used Nick for other odd jobs in the past, like a repair to a garage ceiling in mid January, he came quickly, did the repair, cleaned up and the total cost was lower than original bid. I highly recommend Nicholas Builders and have another job waiting in the wings for him.
