"Thank you for your review of our work in your home last month. I called and left a message at your home to discuss by phone. I will say, we are average priced in the market for our services. Our work however is above average as is our employees. After reviewing your case, I see we could have done some things better especially our communication by phone. The first technician's notes indicate he opened the house side of the three-hole cast iron trap, which is in the basement. The trap had a lot of buildup in it and no water was flowing through it. He cleared the trap and then proceeded to run water, he flushed the downstairs toilet numerous times and had the you flush the upstairs toilets several times. Also, he ran water in the downstairs shower and sink and filled the laundry tub and drained it several times, paper and other debris was flowing through the trap at first. Additionally, he ran water until it was coming through to the trap clear. He let you know that if any unapproved items are found in drain line, that warranties would not apply which is standard operating procedure for us. Unfortunately, he did not 100% clear the drain on the first visit and upon return our second technician ran the snake 50 feet from house trap to street and did not bring anything back. He then proceeded to flushed toilets and run sinks while snaking line. On occasion this will happen, and we are sorry it occurred for you. We did stand behind our work and did not charge additional. I believe we could have handled our phone conversation with you much, much better and apologize for the upset it caused. – Sincerely, Schuler Service, Inc."
