ICS HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING

ICS is great. The staff arrive on time and are very efficient in their work. They use quality products and their pricing is very fair. They clean up completely after they are done. Highly recommend them for Heating and A/C work!

Everything was delivered as promised, and more. The work was completed ahead of time. The workers arrived on time, and provided consultative advice which we followed.

I was pleased with ICS Heating & Air Conditioning's previous service, pleased enough to bring them back.

The person in the office was very professional and indicated that they would try to come out by the following day. If a scheduled service call took less than expected, they would try to work us in. They were at our house about three hours later, and got the furnace running after cleaning the nozzle. They returned a couple of days later to do a complete cleaning/preventive maintenance of the oil furnace, and replaced the air filter. Service man was excellent and very helpful. Could not have asked for more from start to finish. They certainly earned our future business.

Our system is really old and they could have told me anything. I suspected that it was going to be a major repair and it turned out to be very minor and inexpensive repair. I am very pleased with them. They were great. I would use them again.

The compressor in our central AC unit died on one of the hottest days in the year so far. The people at ICS were friendly and set up an appointment to come look at the unit and give an estimate right away. They promptly sent us an estimate via email the next day. They were one of the few companies who provided us with an option to replace the outside unit as opposed to the entire system. Their prices were very competitive. Once I hired them, they were able to come to the house and do the work that same week. The HVAC tech came, installed the system, removed the old system, and cleaned everything up within 2 hours. We were impressed with their professionalism throughout the whole process. I would hire them again.

Overall, it went very well. At first we weren't sure about just getting air conditioning or getting heat pumps (we have oil heat also). They were helpful in explaining the advantages and disadvantages of both systems, generically and specific to our situation. They arrived on time and finished early. They estimated the job to take 4 days, it took 3. They left the house nearly as clean as they found it - they actually did a good job cleaning up after their work. There was only one miscommunication - I went upstairs to find the workers cutting a hole in the ceiling where I didn't expect a hole. They explained why they decided to move the hole and apologized for not discussing it with me first. Their explanation made sense and I agreed with their decision, but it would have been nice to know about it first. Overall, though, it was a great experience. The workers were very professional. The work seems well done. I would use them again, and I'd recommend them.

I was very happy with their service. They were very punctual, prompt, and explained everything to me very well.

Rick did a thorough job cleaning and resetting up my oil burner. I really appreciated his professionalism and knowledge having previously done this job myself. I was 100% satisfied with this company and highly recommend them.

They were courteous, polite and prompt, and they did the work in the timeframe that they said they would. They kept the area neat. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Service man showed up right on time and cut right to the chase. He determined the most likely problem based on the symptoms described and had us up and running within an hour. Very easy folks to work with. I was recovering from shoulder surgery and my wife had to run out on an errand; The service rep did his best to minimize my moving about and insisted that I stay on the couch and take care of myself while he dealt with the issue.

They were very courteous and efficient. The technicians never wasted anytime. The job was estimate for 2 ½ days and it was done in less than that. They did the air conditioner first because the project was done during the summer. They were open to the home owner’s ideas and comments regarding the job. They were very nice and explained things thoroughly. The technicians were great craftsman but if they had a question, they wouldn’t hesitate to ask the business owners and they would come over to look at the situation and offer up their advice. The assistants in the office were always pleasant and were always able to answer all of my questions. They have been the best team I have work with over the years throughout many projects.

I called early on a Thursday morning. Initially I spoke with the answering service. The operator with whom I spoke did not seem to understand the business or the products I was referencing. However, within the hour I received a call from ICS. The woman with whom I spoke at that time was extremely knowledgeable. She was able to intelligently discuss my problem and was sensitive to my concerns. She was apologetic that she was unable to send a technician out the same day (we were in the middle of a 6-day run of 100+ degrees days). I was called at 8:00 a.m. the following morning. The technician was at my home by 8:15 a.m. as he had promised. The problem was identified quickly and accurately. He fixed the problem with the outdoor unit and replaced the transformer on the indoor portion of the unit. He was efficient, worked neatly, and was courteous. I would highly recommend this company, and would use them again without reservation. The cost was extremely reasonable, particularly considering the circumstances.

Installed on schedule, no problems. One aside: We also had a bid from a contractor who proposed a two-stage A/C solution at about twice the price. Since ICS's one-stage solution has met our needs, we are doubly satisfied that we didn't spend twice the money.

They were careful neat workers. Put down drop clothes to protect our carpeting. Work was done in a timely fashion and they cleaned up their mess every day before they left.

We have always been very pleased with them. Everything turned out to be fantastic. Their prices are competitive. If we get a better quote, and if we present it to them, they may not match it; but they want to be the best priced around. They are reliable, and they are clean. They come when they say they are going to come. Their customer service is excellent. There are lots of things that are really good about them. We have found them because four of our neighbors had used them.

Actually they did a pretty good job but unfortunately they did one error which caused some grief and damage. I talked it through him thoroughly and I don’t have grief at the moment. He made an error so I would not hire him once again and would not recommend him to anyone else.

We were very impressed with the time the service men took to make sure the job was done to our liking. They explained everything in detail. We had the furnace replaced, added central A/C and had most of the duct work replaced. I would definitely recommend them to others. They submitted our rebate for the furnace and we received it in less than two weeks. For the PPL rebate, they filled out most of the paperwork and included copies of everything we would need to submit the rebate. All we had to do was fill in the mailing information, sign it and mail it. We had nothing but a great experience with them.

Overall, it was a very good experience. If it weren't for Angie's list, I wouldn't have known this company existed.

They were good. I would tell people to use their services to get the work done. They came when they said they were coming, which was reasonable. The system worked eventually. So that was okay. I didn?t understand the system since I had never seen it before. It?s a high pressure central air conditioning system and it isn?t the normal one at all. It has been here for probably 25 to 30 years. I couldn?t compare their price with anybody else. The quality of their work was good too.

They are very, very good and we've used them for years. They came on a weekend to do the work. Everything held and it is working good. They are reliable and come when they say they will. They are efficient and explain things. Their price is reasonable. My neighbor told me about them in 1984 and we started using them. I've been very pleased with what they have done.

From start to finish ICS provided EXCELLENT service. Priced against several competitors, and while I received a lower quote from another provider, I decided to go with ICS secondary to the recommendations of 4 of my neighbors. They were efficient, friendly and professional. The thermostat installed had a mis-communication difficulty during the first night. ICS was there first thing in the am to fix it (loose wire). I was first on their list with very short notice. Another company thought they had me over a barrel with this situation and they gave me a quote that was $3000.00 higher. Never again will I use that company (and I am canceling my service contract with them). ICS is the best!

Poorly since they never sent an estimate or followed up with a phone call.

It went mostly well with one minor problem: they connected the air conditioner to the wrong spot, but they rectified it right away.

This company installed our heating & central air conditioning unit about 10 years ago. They've quickly sent out technicians to handle emergency situations (like the very hot August day that a siding contractor accidentally dropped a nail into the exterior A/C fan and destroyed the coil) and in the middle of the night. We're very happy with ICS and their technicians. I wish ALL contractors were more like them!
