The crew from Hannabery HVAC did a great job installing my new central A/C. The job took two full days because I asked that the outside unit be moved to the other side of my house. So the job was a bit more involved than just replacing the old unit with a new unit. The guys were very professional and courteous. The new Trane A/C is so quiet compared to my old system. The overall cost was not the highest nor the lowest of the bids from other companies. I'm glad I chose Hannabery.

Right from the time Chris S. stopped by to provide a free estimate to the time the installation was completed, we were completely satisfied with the service provided by Hannaberry. Chris was extremely professional and provided in detail, the different options of heat pump. Post his visit, he never pushed us to sign an agreement. Instead, Hannaberry waited until we made the first move and let them know that we would like to sign the contract agreement. Upon signing the agreement, the company was quick to schedule a date for the replacement. The workers were professional, and showed up exactly at the time (7:00 AM) they specified. They maintained a clean working environment, and took steps to ensure that our house was kept clean throughout the entire installation process. The workers were patient in addressing our questions, and cleaned up after their work. The work was completed around 2:30 PM (an hour ahead of schedule), and we were extremely pleased with our choice.

WE BUILT OUR HOME IN 1995 AND USED HANNABERY HVAC AT THE REQUEST OF OUR CONTRACTOR, "SIMPLY ELEGANT HOMES." WHENEVER WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH EITHER OR AIR CONDITIONING UNIT OR OUR FORCED HEAT WE USED YOUR COMPANY. YOUR COMPANY IS VERY RELIABLE, RETURNS CALLS IN A PROMPTLY AND RESPONDS IN A TIMELY MANNER. I FEEL THAT YOU ARE FAIRLY PRICED WITH WONDERFUL TECHNICIANS WHO EXPLAIN THINGS IN LAYMANS TERMS. MY HUSBAND JUST PASSED ON OCTOBER 30, 2017 AT THE AGE OF 49 LEAVING ME WITH SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF MAINTAINING A HUGE TWO STORY VICTORIAN HOUSE THAT IS NOW 23 YEARS OLD. I HAVE TO LEARN MANY DIFFERENT THINGS ABOUT WHAT IT TAKES TO MAINTIN AN AGING HOUSE OTHER THAN JUST CLEANING THE INSIDE. I'M SLOWLY LEARING AS THINGS ARE STARTING TO GO. MY LATE HUSBAND ALWAYS USED YOUR COMPANY. HE KEPT A SMALL MAGNET IN THE SHAPE OF A TRUCK WITH YOUR INFORMATION ON IT WHICH IS STILL ON OUR REFRIGERATOR TO THS DAY AND THAT IS HOW I CALLED FOR SERVICE BECAUSE WE HAD NO CENTRAL AIR. I HAD TO LEAVE A MESSAGE BECAUSE I FOUND THIS OUT WHEN I GOT HOME FROM WORK AROUND 6:00 P.M. I PLACED A CALL AND LEFT A MESSAGE AROUND 7:00 P.M. FOR SOMEONE TO CONTACT MY FATHER WHO WOULD BE HOME ON FRIDAY AUGUST 17, 2018, TO TAKE THE CALL. HE PROMPTLY RECEIVED A CALL AT 9:30 A.M ON FRIDAY MORNING. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE WAS NO ONE AVAILABLE TO COME OUT ON FRIDAY, BECAUSE ALL OF THE MAINTENCE EMPLOYEE'S WERE OUT ON ACTIVE JOBS, WHICH IS A GOOD SIGN FOR A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS. MY FATHER JUST TURNED 80 AND HAD TROUBLE BREATHING ESPECIALLY WTH ALL OF THE RAIN, HEAT AND HUMIDITY THAT WE ARE HAVING AT THIS TIME. MY FATHER WAS ADVISED THAT IF AN OPENING CAME UP HE WOULD BE NOTIFIED. LUCK WAS ON OUR SIDE BECAUSE A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE CALLED EARLY ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON TO ADVISE MY FATHER THAT THE TECHNICIAN WAS FINISHINED THE JOB IN THE CLARKS SUMMIT AND THAT HE WAS ABLE TO COME UP TO LOOK AT THE UNIT AND SEE WHAT WAS WRONG AND IF HE WAS ABLE TO FIX IT, HE WAS AND THEN ORDER AN ADDITIONAL PART WGICH WILL BE INSTALLED SOMETIME NEXT WEEK. HE EXPALINED TO MY FATHER WHAT WAS WRONG AND WHAT HAD TO BE PREFORMED PRIOR TO GETTING THE UNIT BACK UP AND RUNNING. MY FATHER SAID HE WAS KIND, CURTEOUS, AND EXPLAINED WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS IN SIMPLE LAYMANS TERMS AND INFORMED HIM THAT ANOTHER PART HAD TO BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED NEXT WEEK WHEN IT CAME IN AND IF IT WOULD BE TO GO AHAD AND ORDER THE PART, WHICH WAS FINE WITH US. I RELY ON THIS SYSTEM TO HEAT MY HOME IN THE WINTER TIME, SO THIS WAS A VERY POSITIVE THING THAT HAD OCCURED. MY DAD SAID HE FELT COMFORTABLE WITH THE TECHNICIAN AND THE WAY HE EXPLAINED WHAT HAPPENED. HE WOULD RECOMMEND YOUR COMPANY. I HOPE I GET A CHANCE TO MEET HIM WHEN HE COMES BACK WITH THE ADDITINAL PART THAT HAS TO BE INSTALLED, SINCE I NOW HAVE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHANGING AIR FILTERS AND CHECKING THE UNIT WITH REGULAR MAINTENANCE. IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECITED IF I WAS SHOWN WHAT TO DO SINCE I AM NOW IN CHARGE OF MAINTAINING A HOUSE THAT IS NOW 23 YEARS OLD. SORRY SO LONG, BUT IT NEEDED TO BE SHARED. A WORD THAT COMES TO MY MIND TO DESCRIBE YOUR BUSINESS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS "OUTSTANDING." Technician came out & checked indoor/outdoor HVAC units. He thought he found a slight leak in the inside unit and was going to repair. He did advise I may want to look into replacing the whole system due to its advanced age (nearly 10 years). He eventually diagnosed that it was a failing TXV that would need to be replaced. The current style TXV for the Trane unit is a bolt-on component, not a brazed one as we previously had. Therefore, the whole indoor coil was to be replaced because the new TXV would not fit the old indoor coil. Parts were both under warranty but I could not afford an additional $1,500 bill for installation. I sourced the old-style TXV online and had it installed by another HVAC contractor (as understandably, Hannabery could not install a part they did not source.) Hannabery personnel was helpful and professional; I simply could not afford the cost at this time. (sourcing the part and having it installed cost me about $650, vs. the $1,500 in labor I would have had to pay for the warranty part installation.) The initial service call and work provided by Hannabery were approximately $400. My A/C is now working properly.

After conversing with Hannabery several times on the phone, I felt comfortable in hiring them to do a heat pump system check-over. This is when the technician (Tom) discovered a leak in our outside heat pump coil. We told them to go ahead and do the work since our system did not work without a new coil. Surprisingly, from the time the problem was detected until the repair was completed was only a matter of week or so. The same tech (Tom) was the man who also completed the job to our satisfaction. He was personable and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions on the spot (much to our satisfaction). I did not put down a price/cost in this review because that would depend on the nature of the problem/work which a homeowner would need resolved. We are well pleased by all of the staff we were in contact with - Tom, Eric, Bill, Michael, Annette, etc. Everyone was personable but yet professional in their demeanor. And, YES, I would recommend Hannabery.
