Creative Fence Company

This was one of the best experiences have ever had with any business. Brad took a lot of time with us to help decide which color fence worked best. His workers were great - punctual, fast, high quality and cleaned up everything. I would recommend them to anyone looking for excellent craftsmanship and customer service.

Overall, our experience with Creative Fence was fantastic, and we would highly recommend them.  They may not be the least expensive choice, but they are absolutely wonderful to work with, and the quality of the fence (both materials and installation) is excellent.  We doubt any other company would have been as understanding and patient with the situation we had (detailed below), and we are so glad we picked Creative Fence for our installation.
About a year before we started our fence project, we contacted our township's zoning office to make sure we understood the township ordinances for fence installation.  After speaking with the township multiple times to confirm that we had everything in order, we finally started calling companies to install our fence.
After speaking with Brad, we knew Creative Fence was the company we wanted.  We ordered our fence and waited for it to come in.  Six weeks later, when the fence was about to be installed, we were suddenly halted by the township due to a flood zone ordinance they had not mentioned during any of our preliminary calls.  Brad was very understanding and asked us to let him know if/when the fence could be installed.  Two months later, we were finally able to present our case to our township zoning committee.  The decision was made that the fence installation was allowed, but we had to change the style of fence from what we had originally ordered (solid vinyl) to something with spaces between the slats.  We also had to wait an additional 30 days before proceeding to make sure no one appealed the decision.
After the 30 days were up, and we knew everything was definitely approved, Brad worked with us to have a custom fence created that would give us the privacy we wanted and still fit within the township's ruling (and our budget).  He ordered the materials, and 6 weeks later, after 4 1/2 months of township craziness, they were finally able to install our fence.
His team was outstanding, and they made sure we were happy with the fence all the way through the installation.  Toward the end of the install, we noticed an issue with the gates - they had not been made to the custom specs that the rest of the fence had been, so the spacing between the slats was wrong.  Brad contacted the company immediately, and within about 10 days, we had the custom gates installed.  The fence was finally completed, and it was (and is still) beautiful!

Brad runs his business the old fashioned way...with tremendous attention to detail and the utmost integrity and customer service.  He came out to measure and made appropriate recommendations...based on really listening to our needs.  He had samples to show us...and I don't mean tiny chips.  Samples! It took us some time to work out the details of permitting and such and Brad and Kay were totally helpful and understanding through the process...even though we were working against time as the winter was bearing down.  Finally we could install...and out came Brad to get the team started, sight the lines, make sure I knew where everything was going and confirm the design.  From there, the installation team took over.  They just left and I couldn't be more pleased!  Good things:  Brad does what he says he is going to do and so does every employee he has.  If he's running late, he is courteous of your time and calls to see if it's still ok to come.  Kay, in his office, is the most charming woman and the glue that keeps all that administrative stuff together.  When you talk to Kay on the phone you find yourself smiling...it's a happy call!  The product Brad installs is top quality.  And it shows!  The installation team is wonderful.  No worries about inappropriate language or behavior on the job site.  They clean up after themselves each day.  They aim to please and DO...they go the extra mile to ensure customer delight.  Brad follows up...the final bill has a thank you letter and they check personally to ensure you are satisfied.  Yes, my fence was pricey...but not any more pricey than any other 6 ft vinyl privacy fence.  I feel that the product and service delivered made every penny money well spent.  I recommend and endorse Creative Fence and Brad personally without reservation.   I am a truly delighted customer and would not change anything from beginning to end of the experience working with Creative!

Brad was very response to our request for a quote for the fence.  His company was one of four we contacted.  He spent a good deal of time going over what we wanted.  Brad provided great suggestions on how to handle some trickier places for the fencing.  After reviewing the bids from three of the companies (the fourth did not get back in a timely fashion with a bid) we selected Creative Fence. They were cost competitive and we liked the knowledge and professionalism Brad showed.
It took about eight weeks to get on the schedule.  Brad was there for the start on the first day to go over what we had agreed.  His crew was very professional, polite and careful.  They checked with us on any questions about final details as they went along.  It took the crew three days to install the fence.  The crew kept the yard picked up each day.  They even wiped down the aluminum fence at the end. The crew foreman built a very nice transition between the six foot privacy vinyl fence and the 42 inch scalloped picket fence in the front yard.
We are very pleased with the completed fence.  Our dog had a great time running free in the completed fenced in yard.
If we have fencing needs in the future we will work with Creative Fence.

As all the other comments on Angie's List Brad is professional, polite, punctual etc. Made my choice based on comments and ratings on Angie's List and personal knowledge on Brad's work and comments. He is "hands on" and definitely takes pride in his work.

Brad (the owner of Creative Fence) is awesome! He is not only courteous, professional, punctual, responsive, but also does EXCELLENT work. My neighbors had their fence installed with him, and that was the second house they had him do the work (they had him install the fence in their previous home also). I saw the fence, and it looked great, so I went with Creative Fence, even though their price was a bit higher than others (not much higher). You get what you pay for!! My project was very large, it included landscape, hardscape, lighting, spa, boulders, and the fence. I had to work with 4 different companies, Creative Fence being one of them. Even though I spent less money in Brad's part of the job (when compared to other parts), he was the one that gave me the most attention overall, and took care to make sure my fence would be properly installed and that I would be happy at the end. There were some issues with the original design (mistakes that one of the other companies I was working with actually made), and also some problems with the grading (caused also by the other company). But Brad worked around everything and resolved everything for me. At the end I was VERY happy. He was here HIMSELF digging to fix the grading issues left by the other company, together with his two guys that were working on my project. I highly recommend. I trust him and I trust his work. By the way, his administrative assistant (Kay) is so helpful, and so polite and nice. Every time I called she was always very patient and helpful. At the end I was very happy overall. Creative Fence is worth every cent..

We had to wait about 6 weeks for the installation, but it was worth the wait. 
Everyone working for Creative Fence was very friendly, from the office to the work site.  Kay (who answers the phone) is a sweetheart!  
Brad (the owner) was open to new ideas that we presented him with and gave us his honest opinion.  He is a really nice person to do business with. 
During the installation process (which took 2 days), the work site was kept clean, and very well organized. 
The finished product looks amazing and we are very happy with the quality work done by Creative Fence! 

They were on time, and the workmanship was excellent.  It was a pleasure doing business with these people (from office to the field).

The owner was terrific!  He was easy to work with, on time and co-operative in every way.  His workers, on the day of installation, were professional and knew their craft.

We were looking to replace a decorative fence in our front yard.  Brad came to our home on two occasions to review our options thoroughly.  He was well-prepared (had samples of various fencing in his truck) and asked us questions about things that didn't even occur to my husband and I in order to fully understand what we were looking for.  He gave us three quotes on three different types of fencing so we could compare the costs.  We chose to go with a bronze-colored aluminum.  Two men came out about a month later to do the installation.  They came before we had to leave for work so that they could go through a list of questions to make sure they understood what we wanted.  They texted us pictures when they were finished to make sure we thought it looked good.  When we returned home from work that day, we had our new fence!  They couldn't have made the process easier or more pleasant for us.  Will definitely work with them again in the future!

They were great they worked good with Me and worked in my budget. They charged me cost for something to cut the cost. Then they wanted everything to look very professional. He saw everything through with out charging Me a huge amount.

Brad came out and did a nice presentation.  We had a lot of pictures to work with and he explained things well.  We had mailed our deposit in and then there was a little lapse in communication to get started but it really wans't a big deal. They came out over a couple days and did a great job.  Brad was very helpfull with our new home since when he measured for the fence he helped us realize that the yard still had giant piles of dirt that the builders didn't remove from the corners.  When we had the builders come to move the dirt piles and Brad actually worked with them to get our yard level for the fence to get put in.  I was quite impressed with the extra effort from him.  He is very knowledgable and I'd reccommend him to anyone looking for a nice fence to be put in.

Brad came when promised to view the job and take measurements. I waited a little bit longer that I thought I would for the estimate, however, when I received it, it was very professionally presented. I was offered various options within different price ranges. I returned my selection along with a one third deposit check. Brad called to go over some details and about six weeks after his initial visit, he came back to do the work. He showed up when promised and called me when the work was completed. His workers were polite and professional. The work exceeded my expectations and was high-quality. He even did a little more repair work than was in the original estimate for no extra charge. All in all, a completely painless experience. Brad and his crew are great at what they do. And his office staff, Kay, is excellent. What a nice person! Communication was excellent!

Great company to deal with and would recommend .

Brad, Kay and their installation team are top notch and very thorough.  Each step of the process was carried out with professionalism and care for our home.  When the installers were finished there was no clean-up required.  No mess in the street.  Great job.

Did good quality work

We have signed a contract with them and they are going to do the work in a few weeks.  He was the only one of the people that I talked to that had a good solution to our sloping yard.

They were very punctual and very professional. They were very confident and seemed to know what they were talking about.

The initial appointment was rescheduled which was not a huge issue.  My husband met with the representative who took measurements and said he would be sending an estimate in a few days...we are still waiting and it's been at least a month.  To say the least, we will not be using their service now or in the future.  

Creative Fence was contacted to give us an estimate on a deck railing. He did show up and very professionally measured and discussed the project. It has been over two months and I have not heard from him. I am very disappointed. I have contacted other individuals since and have had estimates from them within days. I have awarded the job to another contractor.

          When I called Creative Fence I was greeted by Kay(sp) , you couldn't ask for a more pleasant or polite individual to deal with! We chatted a short while then discussed the job briefly . We were able to set up an appointment for an estimate that met both parties schedules within a few days. On the day of the appointment  Brad ,the owner, called ahead of the scheduled time to inform me he would be a few minutes late due to being on another job some distance away and traffic was heavy. I appreciated  the communication rather than be left waiting, even though it was maybe 15 minutes . Brad arrived and introduced himself. I was impressed with his professionalism as well as his friendly polite demeanor!   I showed him the job and he immediately took measurements. We sat down to discuss some design and material options, his input was very helpful in deciding the final project. This was in early May, and he informed me that the job wouldn't be started until the 2nd week in June.Fair enough. then we had 3 weeks of rain so i figured that would push the start date to somewhere in July. Much to my surprise Kay called on June 15 to tell me Brad and his crew would be there the next day to start the job. They arrived on time and all of the crew introduced themselves. They were all polite and courteous and made me feel that they were happy to be doing this job for me. Very personal service .The job was done in the 2 days as promised ,even though Dan and Eric had to do some work in the rain.

The quality of both material and workmanship is obvious.The privacy portion of the fence makes my yard feel cozy and secure while the scalloped picket and arbor add a decorative touch that sets it apart from any other in the neighborhood.Four of the neighbors have commented on how good the fence looks!
I would highly recommend Creative Fence to anyone considering installing a fence.

Excellent first visit to prepare quote. A bit slow in actually getting me the quote - but seems because they are so sought after and have much business (because they are so good!) - once the quote did get to me though they moved quickly. And they were apologetic about the delay, which I appreciated. The work itself is excellent - workers friendly, professional - removed all left over materials. Yard clean when they left. They worked efficiently. In and out - and excellent results. Owner Brad professional and engaging.
