Peter's a great guy. Very knowledgeable about his specialty and explains everything in a way you can follow. He came on the afternoon I phoned, surveyed the situation, and explained his remediation plan with a simple drawing. We agreed on his plan, including the location of the vent pipe, the total cost and scheduled the job for  a couple of weeks later. He arrived promptly on that day and by midday everything was completed. Peter's work was neat and clean with all settlement cracks in the floor sealed, as well as all edges around the perimeter of the floor. The vent pipe was installed unobtrusively in a corner of the basement (inside) and next to a downspout (outside), very discrete. The fan is installed within the outside pipe and no noise is discernible either inside or outside the house.
Two days after Peter's work was done, we tested the radon again and it came back from an independent lab at .7% picocuries, well below the usual 4.0% standard. Peter guarantees acceptable radon results for 5 years, including the fan itself; that warranty is also transferable to the new owners. 
All in all, I was extremely pleased with Radone Gone. Good workmanship, fair price, reliable and guaranteed work. I would recommend Peter to anyone without hesitation!

Peter inspected home and reviewed all work that was necessary prior to installation. He provided a detailed quote and description of all work to be performed along with a full warranty. Since I had a passive system already installed, Peter was able to measure the airflow after the fan was installed and demonstrated the system and that it was working properly. He then sealed all necessary areas in the basement. Peter is a well qualified very professional. He was prompt and everything was clean when completed. The fact that he had to cut the access panel to the attic over the garage and he framed the access panel with molding was perfect. I had other quotes from other companies which refused to even come out and look at the job and would not deal with cutting the access to the garage. Since Peter is a local company - the service he provides it heads over anyone of the bigger companies, may of which do not offer a warranty. This is the man you want if you need Radon Remediation !!!!!!

Called Peter and he met me the next day to look at our system. He told me we would need a new fan, which he could order and have it a few days later. He also recommended a on/off switch for the fan. We set up a time on Saturday morning for him to do the work. When Peter showed up Saturday morning, he told me it would take about one hour to complete the work. He completed the work in an hour and asked to check our radon remediation system. He recommended a gauge to show the fan is working properly, and a radon test, since none had been done in the 5 years we had lived here. (I purchased both.) He explained all work he was doing, was prompt, and I felt the price he charged was reasonable. W
