Bull Mountain Roofing

Hector was very responsive. He was one of the first roofers to respond to a request to inspect and estimate shake roof work for my home transaction. His quote was reasonable and he seemed knowledgable of his point of view for the roof and it's condition.
Bull Mountain was scheduled and conducted the shake roof cleaning; then returned a couple days later to replace necessary shake singles, and ridges. He returned to treat the roof after we reviewed and saw some of his other clients in Forest Heights as to what color we wanted.
Hector was very responsive and fit us in with the busy summer roofing schedule. He provided a warranty against his work which based on his business continuity and knowledge of Bull Mountain, it seems to be a good solid choice.

I looked at replacing the whole roof but decided to go with maintenance of the roof instead. They pressure washed the existing roof and replaced the pieces that needed it. They then stained the entire roof twice. They took extra effort to stain the new pieces so that they would match with the original roof. Overall the work seemed good. The reason that I'm not giving a stronger rating is that I felt they didn't do a good job cleaning up. For some reason all my wire downspout guards were either removed or blown away by the pressure washer. The problem is that the pressure washing broke apart many parts of the shake which got into the gutters and the downspouts. I didn't know this until the first good rain. The rain caused massive flooding in my gutters and I was out on a ladder in a driving rain trying to clear the debris from the downspouts. I'm guessing there are still a lot of pieces wedged into the downspouts because they still don't drain well.

I would still say the work was done well but I'd be sure to discuss the downspout issue I had with them before they begin work.

Hector and his team saved the day! My skylights decided they'd had it late on a Wednesday afternoon while it was pouring and water was coming in through my light fixture and there were noticable spots on the ceiling of where the water was gathering. I called Hector and he and a team member were at my house in less than an hour (during rush hour I might add). They determined the skylights were the issue and did a quick fix to stop the leaks until they could return the next morning to replace the skylights. Danny showed up the next morning and had both replaced within 30 minutes. I have and will continue to recommend Hector time and time again. This is what excellent customer service is suppose to look like!

They did a pretty competent job, but I am not 100% certain that what they did is exactly what they said they were going to do in terms of what the materials were. The stuff they put on the roof definitely colored it so it looks fresher, but I am not sure that it was actually exactly what they were claiming it was. It has been 2 years and the roof still looks pretty good, but I don't think it's going to last as long as they said it would. I asked them what you are going to use on the roof and they said it's proprietary stuff. They described it in terms of how it wouldn't hurt our plantings around the house and it wasn't toxic, but they never really told me what it was.

The team who did the work were good to work with and worked hard. It was completed in the time estimated at the cost estimated. The owner was available for questions/information.

Bull Mountain left flyers around our small neighborhood earlier this spring and it paid off for them as at least two of my other neighbors used them. My common wall neighbor had Hector look at my roof at the same time he was bidding their roof and my neighbor was so impressed with Hector that he got a bid for my roof too. I didn't meet Hector, but talked to him on the phone to commit to the job. My roof looks great and there was absolutely no sign on the ground that anything had gone on around my premises. I subsequently had a pest control person up on my roof due to a squirrel problem and he commented that the roofers had done a good job.

The owner, Hector, was wonderful to work with as well as all of the roofers working on the project. Our first meeting with Hector was spent going over the entire project start to finish including any and every question we had. Customer satisfaction along with quality workmanship is very important to Hector. This was made evident to us. Throughout the project we were always kept up to date step by step. We had a leak going on from our previous roof that no one could ever figure out the source. Hector found the problem and immediately made us aware as well as possible solutions.
It's difficult to find hard-working, honest and courteous professionals nowadays. Hector and his staff from Bull Mountain Roofing definitely fit that description and they are not happy until the customer is happy :)
Without hesitation we would use their services in the future.
