After over 25 years of plumbing experience working for others in the Salem/Porltand area and beyond, Rod was ready to bring his knowledge and experience to contractors and customers directly. His attention to detail, honest, direct approach and expertise has proved to serve him well in his own business. Tracy has a business background including bookkeeping, marketing and office management. Together, along with their team, they work to provide excellent customer service to a variety of clients. "(Member name removed) I am very sorry you feel as though we did not try to resolve your plumbing problem, yes my employee brought a new water heater with him as well as the new repair kit that I spent over an hour trying to get the right part information from the factory - to try and save you money due to the drive time from are shop. I was then asked to provide a quote for a new water heater and recirculation pump. I called the next day to talk to you and never got a response back . I am sorry you did not have a good experience with our company."

Rod came back to our property the day his guys finished to check how things were working. He wanted to make sure that all of our plumbing concerns were addressed and that we were satisfied with our outcome. We could not be happier- it is nice to have someone review a problem and come up with an efficient and cost effective solution.
As a note, we chose to have the work performed on a time + materials quote rather that a full quote for the job. When I asked to review the breakdown of time worked and material expenses, Rod called me personally and went over the bill. I had been on the site while the guys worked, and they reported their time honestly (did not count their lunch break, did not round up hours, etc.) so that was really nice to see, that kind of integrity.

a new bathtub in our master bathroom. He arrived on time, and best of all was very pleasant and easy to talk with. He also quoted a price much lower than two other companies that I had contacted and he seemed far more knowledgeable that the reps from the other companies. A week later, his team showed up and installed the tub and the new fixtures without incident. Things ran very smoothly and it was obvious that they had the experience needed to do the job. I just received the bill for the installation and it was exactly what he had quoted for the job so it doesn't get much better than that!
I would like to say that it has been a pleasure working with Rod and his staff. It is obvious that he takes pride in his company and is a person who can be trusted to do what he says he will do.
We would not hesitate to use Rod's Plumbing for any work that we may need in the future.

"Member, I am sorry we could not schedule you in a timely manner, you are right, we are busy. We don't discriminate between large and small jobs, you simply called when we had a long wait time. When we are busy and can't meet your schedule, we usually recommend an alternate plumber.
