Jeremy Leigh was very knowledgeable and responsive.

Jeremy (owner) was professional and clear about the scope of the project from the beginning.  We had the advantage of having a contractor take care of all aspects of window and siding as well as door replacement.  In fact Jeremy insisted that he wanted to bid for the entire project, not just the windows and siding as separate jobs.  This was a major reason why we went with his bid instead of using potentially 2 contractors for the project.  This was a good decision.
Diane took care of most of the communication with us and was particularly effective in making sure we got the size and design of windows we wanted.  This was the major benefit of the remodel.
The project began about when estimated and took less time than originally projected.  Once the work began the two main employees (Ozzie lead  and Geronimo assistant) worked as a team to get things done ahead of time.  Cleanup was done as expected and work area was left in excellent shape daily.  Workers were responsive to questions from my wife and myself as work progressed and were willing to take the time and attention to complete the job well.
The door replacement was hampered by the use of Anderson product that was outdated.  Leighs did all they possibly could to make this work.  The trim job on the outside of the door was not optimal but certainly acceptable and within promised parameters.
Would have appreciated a more formal run through at the end but job was completed well and on time.  Time and availability were a factor in this closure activity I am sure.

As my home is an older home, adjustments to the duct work or vent going to the roof had to be done for the new fan to fit and work properly. The moss on the roof was treated with a moss killer and 2 - 3 moths later, Leigh's Co. came back to remove the dead moss. It is now Dec. no moss and a well working fan with out leaks after all the down pours we have had. For years before I found Leigh's Co., I dealt with many companies with a crew not exactly positive. My home is old, not square or level as a new home and I listened to the moans, groans, poor me, why me attitudes. Some of the work was not always perfect and I justified it due to what they had to work with.
I found Leigh's over a year ago and I am always impressed with their upbeat positive attitude and ability to get it done in perfect order when a challenge arises. I believe if Leigh's Col. can not get it done, then it can not be done.

My hat is off to them.  I needed some drywall done, so they put me in touch with their subcontractor.  I was very pleased with the bid and the job.  They showed up on time, and did a great job.
I will use them in the future.

I loved working with this company but there were times when I had to point things out that weren't done the way I thought they should be, but they were very good about wanting to make me happy and the whole staff was very easy to work with.   I would hire this company again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. 

Came out and looked at area and provided idea on how he'd do it. Project turned out very nice. Glad I chose and would contact again.

We had our master bath entirely remodeled due to toilet water hose flooding incident (nightmare) in 2nd level master bath. Destroyed bathroom and floor/ceiling. We now turn our water off at street when we are gone overnight. Jeremy and crew performed an outstanding job. Overall we were very pleased with the outcome. While the job was expensive in our book, they delivered top-notch/quality service/work and I'm very picky. The entire crew was professional, punctual and were great at cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day. I'm a believer in the "you get what you pay for" and don't mind spending extra $ to get that vs paying less for a mediocre job and not being happy. Would definitely use Leigh's again in the future. P.S.  Inspect those faucet/toilet/sink hoses periodically and turn off your water when you go out of town or you may return to a swimming pool in your house. We were home when hose broke and it still flooded house by the time we got water shutoff.

Jeremy's crew was great. The sub contractor who did the tile work did a marginal job. Not bad enough to make him tear it up but not the quality you would expect from a pro.

How many construction companies would  respond quickly to an issue 9 months after the final  payment and work was  completed?   I am a senior, and by the appearance of  the 'state of affairs' around here, it is obvious I do not have a lot of wealth, wealth which could be an incentive to  'wow' me and keep me as a customer for future high $$$ jobs.   
     Not only is Leigh's  Construction Co. highly skilled, they have also proven to be #1 in honesty and integrity  - qualities that are rare today.
 

Jeremy Leigh and his crew have remodeled two bathrooms in our 1927 house. The most recent work was a tiny, non-functional half-bath. They removed the small radiator and installed an electric floor, which allowed the toilet to be moved so that a person over 5 feet tall could sit down without hitting their knees on the wall. They restored the medicine cabinet which has lovely wood trim, built a shelf to fit exactly into a corner to provide storage, and installed new baseboards to match the existing ones in the house. I choose a rectangular wall hung sink to free up floor space. It was a challenge to install, but they got it done and it looks fabulous. Finally, the tile work on the sink wall and floor is great - it gives the room texture and shine - the tile installer had very good suggestions on laying the floor tile in a different direction and the finish of the tile wall around the medicine cabinet that improved the design greatly. All of this was done on time, on budget, and the crew was very professional. It was always easy to get hold of the office with any questions that we had or they had for us. This was our second project, last fall Leigh's remodeled our full bath and again it is lovely, and much more in the style of the home, and seems larger although its not. Part of that project was the installation of a new electrical box, which made installation of the electric floor possible in the half bath.

The guy who came to do my estimate was awesome, the receptionist was just as fantastic. They came very promptly, helped me feel very comfortable and used the latest technology so I felt more sure and understanding of what exactly needed to be done. They even went out of their way and did some research so I could get a tax write off for the work done. I did not choose them as they were on the higher end of price, but I was so impressed I now have them down as my first contact if I need a project done.

Good. We are just at the quoting stages and are not quite ready for the remodel, but willuse them when we are ready.

The process was much smoother and quicker than I had anticipated. They appointed a lovely knowledgable man to be the lead on the project who helped guide me through the process on site. I had additional support from Diane in their office to help locate items and gather information to make decisions. They located some items for me and I sent Diane emails with items I was interested in. This was very good way to do things because when there was a small flaw in the mirror I chose and they took care of the replacement. I got help with design decisions from the good folks at Cherry City Interiors. Each day brought a team of people that worked on a phase of this project. They laid out plastic protection for carpet protection and added tarps each day. The members of each days work crew were very considerate and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely call them again for another project.

They did a good job except I'm not too happy with the seams. That's the only objection I have. The seams show up. They're not as hidden as I would like. Everything else was fine. It went very, very well. I was happy. They all arrived on time. They were easy and pleasant to work with. They were polite. They cleaned up after themselves. It was a good price. As for the quality, they aren't really bad but you can see them and I thought maybe I wouldn't be able to see the seams. I don't know the usual seam of cabinets. They aren't really standing out but you can see them.

Weren't sure where to pick out a door and hardware, but Leigh's helped us find what we were looking for. It was just a matter of a few days and they had our order ready to install. Took a few hours to install; looks great!
