Tim is very professional and friendly. From the beginning of the project to the end, Tim answered my questions and was very proactive with information. His crew worked very fast and did an excellent job- exactly what I needed. This is the second project I’ve hired Gentry for and I will call them again for the next one.

Gentry Family Construction is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. We had Gentry Family Construction put a new roof on our home. From the very beginning, Tim was a great communicator. He was friendly, respectful, and reliable. I am not at all familiar with roofing and Tim was great at explaining the what, when, and how’s I asked about. And, just like a clock, when Tim said the company was going to do the work, it was done. Several neighbors called at different points to compliment how hard everyone was working and how great everything was looking – even the neighbor who is a retired contractor and is critical of every contractor that comes on the street. These guys are great guys!!! And, the price I paid was absolutely fair. This was one check I was happy to hand over. I cannot recommend this company enough. They are fantastic!

Tim and his team do great work. They take the time to explain their approach and then do high quality work. He understands the importance of his work and does the work right the first time.

Tim and his family did a fantastic job on our house. The communication was great. We have an older home that is riddled with "home owner specials" from the previous owner and the crew did a great job working with us to find the best solutions for our home. We even added a couple small projects to the larger siding project and they did a fantastic job with those as well. I would recommend and hire again if I owned another house that needed siding!

Gentry delivered everything they promised. The workers were friendly and professional. They communicated often with us regarding the timeline for work and completion. The work was complete and well-done and site was clean. No complaints

Gentry Family was amazing to work with. As a Realtor I work with a lot of contractors and Gentry Family is at the top of my list for any roofing or general construction needs in the greater Salem area. We needed a roof replacement in Silverton as part of a real estate transaction and we were working with a pretty strict timeline. We had several bids for the project and not only was Gentry competitive in price they were able to shift their schedule (even added an unplanned weekend day) to get our job completed on time. We worked with Tim who was a great communicator throughout the entire process. He kept us updated at every step, was clear about the status and condition of the roof, and gave us all of the information we needed to feel confident in the project. I highly recommend their services.

My experience with Gentry Family Construction could not have been better! When I first called to request an estimate, Tim's response was prompt and he was out the next day to provide an estimate. He go the estimate to me quickly and the cost was reasonable compared to others received. Tim kept me updated on when the work would be done and once the work started, he kept me well informed with the schedule and progress. The team was very hard working, respectful, professional and on schedule. No complaints whatsoever and I would absolutely use them again and have already recommended them to others. It's great to be able to support a small, local, family business doing such good work.

They had a great line of communication, were courteous and friendly, very transparent about projected costs and answered all my questions thoroughly.

We had three projects they handled for use at different times over the summer. The roof on the house was replaced, the old aluminum windows were replaced with vinyl and the carport/shop was demolished and rebuilt. Gentry was everything you could wish for in a contractor. Communication, attention to detail and quality, were here when then said they would be and came in exactly on budget.

Had a re-roof done of my rental. Tim did a great job keeping me informed all along the way. They showed up when they said, worked long hours, and made sure the building was covered when rain happened. Tim explained some extra steps taken to give the roof a better look and to make sure chimneys were appropriately sealed. They did a great job and I would definitely hire them again.

These guys are so easy to work with, very down to earth, very easy to communicate with and they do AMAZING work. They take much pride in the quality of work they do and the service they provide to their customers. Would highly recommend this company to anyone!!!!

Great experience with Gentry! We were on a tight deadline and they completed the job early. Added a small pump house. All workmanship and materials are excellent. Crew of 4 worked well together to complete job in 2 days. A pleasure to work with from initial evaluation and bid to cleanup and final invoice. Good people!

Our roof was in bad shape to say the least. It isn’t square which made cutting the metal a bit difficult but Gentry guys pulled it off and it looks amazing!! Easy to work with and straight forward. Highly recommend them!

We had Gentry Family replace our roof a couple years ago and knew we wanted to have them back for our windows and partial siding. We are pleased with their communication and work they did, and the price was very competitive. We would hire them again.

I was SO impressed with Gentry Family Construction. After hearing so many horror stories about contractors that don’t meet deadlines and take advantage of customers I can say with certainty that Gentry is NOT that way. They were on-time, professional, and did exceptional work on both our siding and deck. Both jobs were completed on-time and to the highest levels of quality. Furthermore, they were honest about what we needed, with no attempts to upsell us. I can’t recommend them strongly enough!
