Description of Work: We received a bid on tree service. It was very professional; I really appreciated Ryan and his knowledge of the work which need to be done. Between the time of the review and receiving his bid, other expenses came up and we were unable to finish the transaction. This business will be our go to when we are able to take advantage of the company.

Description of Work: I had trouble with this contractor returning my calls. I purchased a $300-valued pkg for $149. They showed up for estimate about 45 min early, which I noted to him; his attitude was 'Oh well', although I had to stop in the middle of a project to show him what I wanted done. | |After going over the job, I was told that it wouldn't be much MORE than I had already paid! (I thought it would actually cost less and I could switch to a smaller pkg with Angie's List.) He also said I would receive a bid within about 24 hours; it took a week and another all to the owner. | |The bid was several hundreds of dollars MORE! I called the owner and told him his associate said it would be only a little more than I already paid and reminded him that $300 value should come off. He said his associate was the one who wrote it up, so that was the bid. His attitude was quite unprofessional, as well as returning calls in a timely manner, if at all, then doesn't keep their word. | |After contacting other services, I hired another company for less, although removing a tree was even included. I suspect OR Woodsmen just adds the discounted amount back onto the bottom line.

Description of Work: The work was done when I was not at home, so I don't know how many people were on the job, or how long it took. The job was to lower a tree that had fallen on my barn. Not only did they lower it, but they limbed the trunk and cut it into pieces for splitting. I was thrilled.

Description of Work: Had a small grove of scrub oaks in front yard area, which needed their canopy raised higher off the driveway.

Description of Work: This time, he took down 5 dead trees and limbed an oak tree for us in a single day, and he chopped them to the right size for our woodburning stove to save us time. He also chipped the rest of the detritus.

Description of Work: Removed 2 70+ year old trees and stumps that were partially cut down by PGE, both growing within the power lines and one was also growing within the power transformer. Besides these tree, 2 10 year old trees and stumps were also removed.
