Boys working there are good. Manager is a jerk who should go back into the pit until he learns how to talk to people. Someone someday is going to tell him where to go.

They are really good.

Their base oil change cost is a reasonable $29. The waiting area is very comfortable with couches, chairs, a counter, coffee, juices and newspapers and magazines. Treats for the dogs too. And you get a complimentary car wash with the oil change (mine was more expensive than the standard because of the amount of oil my truck uses).
The only two irritants I have with the place is that the wait on the weekends can be brutal. My last visit I was there two hours. The second (and all the oil change places seem to do this) is the leg h****** to get you buy their air filters, cabin filters, get your transmission fluid changed ( several thousand miles before the manufacturer recommends) and the like. I will say that this places is less the hard sell (by a long shot) then the Jiffy Lube's of the world.
Overall, I think it's a really fair if not a good deal for the money and that's what keeps me coming back.

The pushy nature of the service manager was distasteful. I did not appreciate the and quot;you must do it now!and quot; As if a cabin filter change was a safety issue.

I was at Xpresso Lube/Cedar Hill Auto Repair about four months ago. It cost $19.99. They are cheap and fast. The people there are pretty good. Sometimes I take my own oil in and give it to them. Good value but know what you are buying if you are buying any upsales.

Fine. Just a little too forceful and loud about anything in addition that's found and might need to be done. A service person calls out
a name and then loudly tells (not suggests) what additional service might be needed.

I like the company a lot. They try to sit down and talk about the condition of my car. It seems like they knew what they were talking about and there were no phony extra stuff. They did recommend a couple of things and I said that I preferred not to do that. They didn't try to pressure me into getting the service pretending that my car was going to fail or something. They were pretty honest. They have a coffee bar in the waiting area which is kind of cool. The mechanics are pretty good. I don't know if all oil places have to be certified with ASE certification.
