Tom did an excellent job. We were not home when the removal took place. Everything was cleaned up nicely when we got home.

Tom was great from start to finish. I was referred to him by others in the neighborhood (he installed my next door neighbor's front door and has done several kitchen remodels nearby). I called him on his cell phone and he came over within a few hours to take a look at the job.
Our front porch is extremely slanted (due to settling) and our existing front door (installed by a diy prior homeowner) was not level. We knew it would be a tricky and time consuming job. Another contractor I found on Angie's List gave me a quote of around $6,500 for the job and clearly was not interested in the work. In contrast, Tom was very knowledgeable and thoughtful in his approach (he had great recommendations on the type of door and sidelights to install) and immediately provided a written bid. His bid was reasonable and, in fact, was less than I expected. Instead of Tom buying the door and the hardware (and then marking it up), he allowed me to purchase these items directly. I ended up purchasing hardware with a mortise lock (which is much more difficult to install) and Tom's installation was great.
Tom removed the old front door and sidelights, as well as the surrounding trim. Tom had anticipated the job would take 1-1/2 to 2 days. However, because the installation was so tricky (plus the extra time necessary for installing the mortise lock), Tom spent around 3 days here. I offered to pay him for the extra time spent, but he refused. The door and the hardware looks beautiful installed, and Tom was able to use his carpentry skills on the trim to hide some of the unevenness. We are very happy with the work and would not hesitate to work with Tom again.

Great. Tom gave us a fair estimate of the cost. He and his crew were on time, did very professional work and cleaned up after they were done.

We are very satisfied with our experience with Tom Quinn construction. Tom was always available. He is honest and his quotes were straight forward and reasonable. The other contractors Tom recommend to us were also excellent.
