Delivery Service
Even though we weren't home in the days prior to delivery, Sunshine Delivery telephoned and left several messages confirming the delivery date and time. When the day arrived, they telephoned and told us precisely when they would arrive. The two, very courteous young men, did all of the heavy lifting, carried the table up a flight of steps and unboxed and fully assembled our new table. When they were finished, they went through a thorough check-list to make certain that there was not confusion about their services. They cleaned up and removed all packaging. They were very professional.

Delivery Service
This was a delivery service contracted through Costco. We bought a couch for our cabin in Bend, which has occasional vacation rentals. When we bought the couch, we were given an estimate of 6-10 weeks for delivery. We figured we were safe being that late sept/oct don't tend to be rented. Sunshine called 10days later (august 17th) and gave us a date for delivery that Friday. They had a delivery to Burns on august 22nd, if I couldn't accommodate that, I would have to wait another 2 weeks, which would be labor day weekend (the cabin was rented then also). I could however take some time off the thursday of the following week (august 28th-30th). Even after talking with their office manager in Portland, they were cold and inflexible and told me that I had 4 weeks of storage with them and after that, I would be charged or the couch would be returned. They called on Friday and said the delivery would happen Saturday (The person on the phone told me that was the delivery date all along!) I asked them to tell the drivers to wait to deliver until 11am (the renters were leaving and asked us to wait till they were gone) or rearrange the deliveries so mine would be last. She said they couldn't tell the drivers how to plan their delivery, but she would try. Saturday morning, I got a call at 7am that the delivery truck was 20 minutes out. The driver said no one had called him to delay the drop off or to rearrange, he apologized (at least he was pleasant). The end result, I had to hire a person from our rental agency to unload and sign for the couch and leave it in the carport with the renters being woken up. Luckily it wasn't raining.
