STRANDS WINDOW & DOOR

Excellent.  Keith gave us different options, took his time to explain the pros and cons, and kept us apprised of the progress.  Things went extremely smoothly!

I used them in two locations and was very happy. There were no problems and he was there when he said he would be. He did what he said he would.

We got a lot of bids before replacing 21 windows, talked to a lot of people before having the work done. Keith's bid was neither the lowest or the highest. In the end his "story" was the most consistent and we did not find any misrepresentations in what he told us. Such was not true with many of the bidders who often changed their story during followup conversations.
Keith showed up as agreed, did the work, hauled the old stuff away all without problems or controversy.
We were satisified enough with his work on our duplex to have him replace the windows on our home, where we were equally satisified.

We got a lot of bids before making our decision. Keith was neither the highest or the lowest but about in the middle.
He was always punctual, never left us hanging and did what he said he would do in the way he said he would do it. No cost over runs or unanticipated charges. He cleaned up after himself  and has followed through on getting technicians out when a couple of the windows needed some work. Wondow problem, not installation problem.

We were on site to "supervise" the job, something we always do, and if that bothered him he didn't show it.

We would hire Keigh again if we needed additional work.

Much of our correspondence was done by email as our duplex and home are in different states and Keith was responsive throughout the process. He showed up when he said he would to show us the product and answer our questions. There were no problems with his work. There is a problem with some of the windows (PlyGem) but it appears PlyGem is going to deal with the situation, We would not hesitate to have Keith do aditional work for us and have recommended him to some of our friends. I believe one of them is getting a bid from him now.

They were great. It was quite the repair; my tenant got drunk, locked himself out, and broke the door in. The guy came over and he was fabulous. He didn?t try to sell me a new door or anything, he just fixed what needed to be fixed and it is still working. I was amazed that he could fix it so I was really thrilled.

From start to finish, Keith Strand was a pleasure to deal with. Informative, thoughtful, punctual, professional. He kept us informed as the order moved through the system then scheduled when he knew the windows would be available. The installation was challenging as some windows were on a third story. He and his co-worker were meticulous and they left the work area spotless each day. The work was completed exactly as planned. We have had the windows now a year and remain fully satisfied. One of our best experiences ever with a contractor.

From start to finish, Strands was an A+. The estimate was timely, the price was best I received, the products are quality, and the install was perfect. Keith and his assistant Ken worked around the weather with ease; cleaned up after each day; and came through by offering a solution to the problem with encountered with one of the doors which had dry rot underneath. Nothing threw them and their attention to detail was superb.

We chose this company because it was rated highly on Angie's List. Wow, what a mistake!!! Working with this company was a NIGHTMARE. They never came on time, except when money was involved. One day I waited for 3 hours before finally calling and being told "Oh, we will not be coming today, we forgot to tell you". This happened multiple times. They did a horrible job on the molding. I walked around with one of the carpenters pointing out all the problems, and he told me "yeah, we had inexperienced people putting that up, there were too many for me to supervise." I could not believe it. I will admit, in the end, they did fix their many errors after much complaining (otherwise I would have given them an F). They left us without interior molding in the kitchen over Thanksgiving. They put in a window without caulking it for 1 week so the wind blew in and it was freezing out. There are plenty of other companies that do windows, take your hard earned money somewhere else.

We were pleased with the work that was done. There was a mix up in the order of one of the doors, however those things can happen. It was promptly taken care of, and we are pleased with the workmanship and information provided by Mr. Strand.

Outstanding service and installation. Keith took a lot of time and effort to provide the right product for my needs. Had 2 other bids. Strand's was the lowest, (had one bid for 19,900, the other was for 9200). Before hiring I went and viewed a job in progress and was very impressed with the install. Installer Joel was fantastic...very thorough and clean up was perfect each day. Completed the project in 2.5 days.

We got quotes from 3 companies and Keith Strands was the lowest. He was very easy to work with and happily accommodated us when we made some very last minute changes to our window choice. His installers were great. They were all very nice, personable, on time and the quality of work is wonderful. I would recommend Strands Window and Door to anyone. They did a GREAT job!

Job 1: We felt that Mr. Strand was very professional in his presentation of his product. His bid was done in the same professional manner on company letterhead with all prices and installation requirements stated in advance. The windows are very pleasing to the eye, our neighbors have remarked on how well they kept with the era of the house. Keith Strand arrived on time and was prompt in the installation of our windows. He was quick to clean up any mess that was made as a result. We have had lower heating bills and our house has no more drafty places. THANK YOU KEITH STRAND FOR A WONDERFUL JOB. Keith was very honest and up front going over my project. He pointed out things that wouldn't work (due to code or aesthetics) that other contractors I had in to bid neglected to mention. We were able to plan the entire project without dealing with last-minute changes and/or problems. On time for estimate, kept follow-up appointments & came out to inspect job upon completion. Joel and crew were on time, polite, respectful of my home and property, cleaned up site & very professional. Did a fabulous job! Lots of attention to detail, down to matching the screws to hardware on new door! Will have them back when I do my upstairs remodel for 2 more windows and 2 patio doors.
