Maureen Bray is an artist .I have hired Maureen on many occasions, she provides staging consultations for my real estate clients who are getting ready to put their homes on the market.. Upon arrival, Maureen always puts the nervous seller at ease by reassuring them that they are not being judged or criticized but that the purpose of her visit is to help them ultimately get a quick and high dollar sale. She is kind and personable as she goes room to room with the client letting them know how to showcase their homes best features. Deciding what needs to go and what can stay, how repositioning artwork or removing the dated rug can make all the difference. Maureen makes my job so much easier! I highly recommend her, she talented and intuitive. If there is one challenge in working with Maureen it is that I have had to stay on my toes about scheduling her, she is in high demand but I am willing to give her ample notice to get on her books....she is so worth it!

Maureen was a wealth of information with regard to home staging. She was professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. She really knew her stuff and with her input, I feel confident about what needs to be done to stage my home prior to listing it for sale. We walked through each room of my home and she provided input for each area. She covered it all, starting with where furniture should be placed, where pictures should be hung, and even what color to paint certain rooms. Best of all, she provided input regarding landscaping and what should be done to spruce up our yard and give our home better curb appeal. As she said, first impressions are everything!

We interviewed Maureen after seeing that she had great reviews on Angie's list, and yet again, Angie's list members helped us to select the perfect service provider! Maureen has a terrific eye for design that made the rooms in our house look fantastic! She was able to bring out the best in the rooms. She staged our kitchen, dining room, living room, family room, the master bedroom and bath and added accents to enhance other areas of our home. As we had already moved, the house was empty, except for 2 small accent tables that Maureen suggested we keep in the house. Everything else, including pictures, plants, towels, decorator items, furniture and linens were selected by and provided by Maureen. Maureen is an experienced professional. She responded very quickly to our initial email and was able to meet with us the following day. After snapshots, notes and discussion with us and with our realtor, she provided us with a written proposal that was very competitive (we had also interviewed another staging company). Maureen and her team completed the staging set up in 1 day as scheduled and the home was in perfect condition for pictures the following day. I could not believe the difference she made. Our home sold very quickly but the actual closing date was in a bit of a flux right near the end and Maureen worked with us to schedule the de-staging on the day before we actually closed. I highly recommend using a stager when selling your home, even if you will still be living in the home while it is listed, and Maureen is at the top of my list. I have already referred her to family!

I phoned Maureen Bray, the owner of Room Solutions, for an estimate to stage a new home we had for sale after viewing the company's website showing many examples of her work. Maureen was very professional at all times. She went to view the home within a day or two of my call and got back to me with the estimate and contract paperwork immediately. I needed to have the home staged ASAP and Maureen fit me in her schedule within a week.
The home was beautifully decorated with furnishings that enhanced the rooms. I was very pleased with her selections. I especially appreciated her taking photos of the staging as part of our contract and sending them to me right away to use in my marketing of the home. Within a month of the home being staged, we had a sale.
When I notified the company to give notice of the home sale, Maureen accommodated my request to move the furnishings out on the date I requested.
All the furnishings were installed and removed without damage to the floors or walls. I am very pleased with Room Solutions and will definitely use them again when the need arises.

- We had a 3200 square foot home that we were preparing to sell. We had done a complete remodel and were trying to get this home sold quickly. Maureen and her crew placed furniture and decorations that suited our home beautifully. The subsequent photographs and online listing looked beautiful. With the home staged potential buyers are able to see the home and the space as they would use them and they don't see minor imperfections right off. Our home was well prepared and well priced and the staging brought the buyers in and let them see the potential that it had. We had a full price offer in 4 days. Room solutions was meticulous to the tee. They were in and out within all timeframes offered. They even accommodated a short notice pull out to facilitate an early closing. We were very pleased with Maureen's view and the way she pulled it off.

Maureen was a joy to work with. She brought in attractive furnishings for the living room, dining room, kitchen, one bedroom, and bathroom. She did a great job in selecting tasteful furniture and accessories to suit each room, and her staging made two bedrooms with slanted ceilings look much larger than they did when vacant. e Maureen did a perfect job of communicating prior to her visit, arrived on time, and stayed until she felt she'd finished her job, additional time beyond what we expected. But her gift, in addition to staging (of course!) is her more than pleasant manner of suggesting what we should consider. We needed some affirmations of those things that we should keep and those things that we might set aside in our attempt to ready the house for sale. She more than understands paints, surfaces, textures, etc. But, she's very pleasant in the manner in which she suggests or shares her knowledge. (She was probably a marriage counselor in her other life . . . or she should be in her next profession!) My husband wasn't particularly looking forward to her visit with us; today, I believe, he thinks that having her was one of the best things I've suggested in years! Her suggestions, keeping in mind cost, etc., were so helpful and they are suggestions we're beginning to implement today.
After her visit, she mentioned that she'd send a bit more information to us -- above and beyond the call of duty. I was so surprised that her very complete, comprehensive e-mail came through later after her visit with us. Thanks so much, Maureen. We'll definitely use your services again!

Maureen's services exceeded my expectations. The furnishings were not only beautiful but made each room look welcoming and much larger. My first thought upon entering the home after staging was, and quot;I wish it looked like this when I lived here.and quot; We initially reached out to Maureen on Monday... Staging was complete and photos taken by early afternoon on Thursday. Maureen is not only good at what she does, she creates miracles. I would HIGHLY recommend her!

I spoke with Maureen, she came to the house, we looked at the areas in need, discussed, then met for a shopping experience. She offered me her generous discount, which I could not have accessed without her. She followed up with how the experience went and then checked later to offer more service and advice. We hired Maureen to stage our home for sale. We were moving out prior to putting it on the market so we had her come out about a month before we wanted it on the market. We had an initial meeting, really liked her, and felt that she was going to be very professional to work with. After we had signed a contract Maureen came back and walked around the house, inside and out, and gave lots of specific input about what we could do to have the house looking fresh before she brought furniture in. For the few walls she suggested we paint she provided a specific color to use. We took all of her suggestions except one (repainting the gutters--and we agree that it would have looked better, just didn't want to spend the money). A date was selected for the staging process; Maureen was very clear that it would take a few days to get it in and then get it arranged just so. The setup went like clockwork. She took before and after photos, and her after photos are truly professional and so, so gorgeous. I didn't even recognize the place as our house! She makes the photos available to the realtors to use should they choose. The contract fee was for move-in, setup, 2 months of decoration, monitoring during that time, and removal. There was a monthly fee for any month over 2, but we didn't need to use it. A buyer saw the house on the 3rd day on the market and that was it! Maureen's staged houses sell in less than a month on average, and we were no exception, we are happy to say.
We were so pleased with what she did for our house that we hired her to give us some decorating advice in our new home. For a reasonable fee (she gave us a discount off her usual $75/hour fee), Maureen came for 2 hours and walked room to room with us, offering suggestions about placement, art, and other decorative items. She was personable, thoughtful, and we have already taken many of her suggestions.
All during the process, Maureen was exceedingly professional and supportive. If she didn't answer her phone, she always responded promptly (think hours, not days). And then (she will know exactly who wrote this), right before we were due to close, we had a snafu with the sale and thought it might not go through. In a panic, we called Maureen to cancel our furniture removal date the day before, thinking the house might need to go back on the market. She was totally understanding and cancelled the movers, only to get a call from us the next day saying that it looked like it would go through after all. She rescheduled the move for the following week TWICE for us, calling in some serious favors the second time. And then we learned that there was yet again a miscommunication and the closing was for 24 hours earlier. As we had a very difficult buyer, we had no flex on that end. Maureen was already booked for a job on the day it needed to be removed, and, late on a Friday evening when we were desperate, said she would come in over the weekend, move the smalls, and rescheduled her very busy mover to have everything out on the closing date. This was in no way convenient for her but again, I cannot praise her professionalism enough--She went above and beyond the call of duty to help us out. Maureen saved us, there is no other way to put it. And all this is in addition to the fact that she is an amazing stager whose advice and staging I am positive helped sell our house in 3 days. Use her! You won't regret it.

Be sure to call Maureen before listing you house. We had a vacant house on the market since May, four months later we hired Room Solutions to stage the house. Maureen gave us many tips that we followed like new light fixtues and so-on. After the house was staged, it only took a few weeks to get a full price offer. The house was transformed.

Room Solutions was able to match the mid-century modern style of the home with furnishings and accessories that made a huge impact on prospective buyers. Everyone that viewed the home commented on how nicely everything looked and flowed. They were really wowed by the staging in the master suite; several people wanted to know where they could buy the furniture.
The home was only on the market 2 weeks before it sold; due in large part to the expert staging by Room Solutions. They were able to make sense of a couple awkward areas in the home where a poorly planned addition had been added in the 80's. The staging made it flow and gave the space purpose.
We will definitely use them again.

She was able to come and do the staging on rather short notice. since I left the country before she was able to get the home stages, she had to work with the real estate agent and keep me informed by email. All went well and my home sold quickly.
