Roloff was amazing in all aspects. They provided us with a comprehensive budget and timeline that came in under a well known competitor AND a small time contractor (!) with more of what we wanted included. They worked with an already existed design that we had worked on with Bright Design Lab and helped coordinate with them when needed to get more info. They stuck to their timeline almost to the letter until we had a mishap with the wood flooring order (which was MY fault because I ordered the wrong flooring and then it got stuck in port in Seattle during strikes) which is unheard of in this industry... all of our friends couldn't believe it when they saw the timeline and that they were actually sticking to it! They are very responsive and will work with clients on trying to find cost effective, but yet still beautiful, results. Their workers were ALL responsible, polite and respectful - from the craftsmen to the painters. We are thrilled with our remodel and cannot say enough good things about this company! We still have a small project to finish (a wet bar) and when we decide to do it, we will definitely have Roloff do it - and any future remodels we may do! We recommend them to all of our friends.

They were highly recommended by my electrician,was said he'd worked for them a # of times and had been very impressed with their work ethic. I've never had such an organized and efficient crew! they notified us weekly about when and what would be done, showed up on time,and cleaned up perfectly daily. The entire crew couldn't have been more delightful to work with. I consider them the standard that all construct companies should meet.

I used a Groupon. I liked everything about them. They are great. The price was very competitive. Quality of work was very good.

We purchased a Groupon for this companies service early last year. Booked our appointment with the company giving them a list of what we wanted completed. We purchased the shelves, towel bars and fan.... the owner provided the tools. The owner showed up on time. He was very friendly and went straight to work. We purchased 3 hours of his time. He completed the items we gave him with no issues. 2 days after he left both of the bathroom shelves and one of the towel bars started coming loose from the wall. I emailed the company to let them know and have them come out to fix the work they had done. The owner proceeded to tell me that because we provided the items to be installed he does not have a warranty on the work. If we wanted him to come back he would have to be paid an hourly rate at which he would give me a discount for. After going back and forth he basically left us with a bad job and he would not repair what had broke within 48 hours of him completing.

We were looking for a contractor who could take how we wanted the finished kitchen to feel and turn it into concrete plans. Nathalie's design skills let us walk the line between our slightly Asian style preferences and a finished product that is still consistent with the era of the house. She helped us draw out our ideas, looked for innovations where an idea didn't quite fit and was a wealth of information that helped us move out of overwhelmed into making excellent choices on flooring, backsplash tile and cabinet hardware.
Mike and crew managed the mess of a kitchen remodel perfectly. Our house is not large and we do most of our living fairly near the kitchen. Mike and team controlled the dust, debris and odors of tearing out, prepping and putting together a new kitchen with everything cleaned up at the end of each day. Mike and team's knowledge of construction helped us avoid a couple of bad decisions, and when an element seemed too complex (such as finding a way to run a gas line and vent the gas stove), found a way to work around the house's restrictions in a safe and economical way.
Knowing that we wanted something different than linoleum, we considered a number of flooring options such as cork, tile and wood. Nathalie patiently researched our ideas and gave us the pros and cons of each, even though time was of the essence to stay on track with our construction timeline. She finally went with us to a flooring store where we ultimately decided on beautiful wide-plank, hand rubbed bamboo. Mike and team installed the floor, working around a not quite square kitchen, and it is one of the elements people immediately comment on when viewing the kitchen for the first time.
Although Mike and Nathalie have their own cabinet sub-contractors, we had a relationship with a cabinet maker from another effort we'd undertaken. They were flexible in agreeing to work with our cabinet guy and when there were a few tricky communication issues, they deftly managed them. When cabinet installation (and granite top) made it impossible to slide in our new stove (three days before Thanksgiving), Mike and Nathalie worked with us to come up with a solution in time for us to still cook Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen.
One of the best parts of our kitchen is the nook which we re-imagined and updated to include a banquette, a bank of built-in curio shelves and a much enlarged back bay window that lets in light and a panoramic view of the back yard. To accommodate the window size increase, we needed to raise the pergola over the back patio - which Mike and team felt could be done easily. In the course of working through that improvement, we decided we wanted to have a glassed in raised pergola, so we didn't lose our kitchen light and so we could extend our patio season. The weight of the glass required additional engineering and Mike and company made this happen quickly, resulting in a beautiful covered patio with an installed restaurant-style heater, expanding our patio usage at least another couple of months each year.
We would recommend Roloff Construction for any interior or exterior work. Their attention to detail, construction knowledge, honesty and expertise will result in a product you love for years to come.

When i told them the work that needs to be done they were worried if it was enough for what I paid for the groupon deal. They send an unexperienced worker who took so long to install the ceiling fan that he was only able to drill the hole for the dryer vent that I had to install the vent myself. The worker also did not cover my hardwood floor int the living room properly that it had scratches afterwards. He also did not properly clean up after the work was done.

Very impressed with the quality of work and professionality of the service providers.

The price they quoted stayed the same even though they had to do a little more work then anticipated. The crew he had was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They followed up after the job was complete to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction. I felt so comfortable with them I actually gave them a key to my home so they could do work when I was not home.
