We have been with them for a years-and-a-half to two years. All interactions I have had with them have been good, usually, just calling me going out of town and updating my commentary and notes. They have been fine for me and their price was good.

The initial contact was good, the salesman was very prompt and professional. I had concerns about motion sensors when they were suggested, because I have two cats. They tend to climb up on furniture and I was concerned that they would set off the motion sensors. I was told that there installation techniques that would make this not happen, and that the install technicians would be aware of it, and it would be taken care of. When the install techs came on site, I was in bed very sick, so I wasn't able to watch the installation as closely as I would have liked to, which was a BIG mistake. The technicians explained that they couldn't install exactly what the salesman specified in my home because of the layout of my rooms, but they could accomodate what I needed, including the cats and the motion sensors. After the technicians left, I looked at this install and found that not only did they mount the motion sensors very low (within 3 feet of the floor), but that both of them were placed in an area where I had warned them the cats would be. Assuming the techs knew what they were doing and it was ok, I set the alarm to go to the doctor. Within 3 hours I received a call from the police that the alarm had been tripped. I have not been able to get the problem fixed since then, in fact when I try to call to get a technician out, they send me back to the salesman that recommended the wrong install in the first place. I do not want to deal with a salesman, I want a technician that can actually solve my problem. I have stopped trying, and will soon replace this system with something else that will actually work for me. This whole experience is a waste of my money, and I would recommend them to no one.

We recently replaced all the windows and entry doors to our home. This required that the security system be reinstalled on the windows and doors in order to be functional. We called weeks ahead of time to arrange a date for the installation. Will, the installer, arrived 30 minutes before the time scheduled, which was ok with us. Unfortunately, the painter had cut the telephone line several days before the installation date and we could not get Verizon to come out to repair the phone line before Protection One came out. Will proceeded to install the security system and then he fixed our phone line for us! This allowed him to complete the project and for us to get our telephone line back. Three cheers for Will. Verizon gets no cheers. A word to the wise: Do not schedule an appointment through Verizon's automated system. The computer ran a test to the house and cancelled our appointment without notifying us. It couldn't comprehend that the problem was with a line inside the house.

We went with this company because they were very no nonsense about their product. They were very informative and did a great job installing the system. We initially did the $199.00 deal, but we have so many doors in my home that it raised the price, but that was fine by us. The price was about a quarter of the cost of other companies. The installers were wonderful and I liked the work that they did. My only recommendation would be that they would avoid the used car sales mentality with their salesmen. I am also still waiting on the salesman to bring my stickers and sign for my yard. Other than that, I will use this company in the future.

They showed up on time, their work was neat, they discussed all of the different options with me. They have responded quickly the few times the alarm was accidentally set off. I feel safe and can sleep soundly. It was a good value for the money.

We contacted Protection One in October. The sales person was great. The installation went smooth. Two weeks after installation, the key fob literally fell apart in my hands. They charged me over $100 for a replacement, which I complained about. Last week, the alarm went off at 2:00 am; we couldn't figure out why. The next night it went off at 12:00 am. We tried to set up an appt. to get it fixed but the soonest they could come was a week later. The next day, we did not arm the system but I got several calls from the monitoring station saying my alarm was going off. I tried to get an appt. to shut it off but the Service Supervisor said the best he could do was 3 days later. I left work to contact the salesman because living with an alarm going off for 3 days was unacceptable and no amount of complaining was bringing a service man to my door. The salesman was helpful and it was fixed within 6 hours. The key pad was broken. Took 15 min to fix. I am still mad at this company.

It went smooth, and they installed as promised. The thing I liked most about Charlie Zigmas was he took the time to be fair and work with us on our needs. He wasn't a height pressure sales person and he took our ideas and made them work within our budget.

THE INSTALLER WAS VERY POLITE AND I FELT VERY SECURE WITH HIS WORK. I CAN SLEEP NOW, AFTER A NEAR BREAK IN. THIS COMPANY IS VERY PROFESSIONAL.

THEY WEREN'T VERY THOROUGH. THEY HAD TO COME BACK FOR A JOB THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL, ONCE I SET AN APPOINTMENT, BUT IT TOOK A COUPLE OF WEEKS TO GET THEM TO COME OUT.

I HAVEN'T HAD ANY CONTACT WITH THE COMPANY, SO I DON'T HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE OF THE COMPANY. I SUPPOSE NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS IN THIS LINE OF BUSINESS.

I DON'T REALLY HAVE AN OPINION. THEY ARE OK OVERALL. I DON'T THINK THAT THEY ARE BAD, BUT I DON'T THINK THAT THEY ARE THE GREATEST, EITHER. I HAVEN'T TRIED ANYBODY ELSE.

THEY ARE FINE. I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM AT ALL. I WAS REFERRED TO THEM BY SOMEONE I WORK WITH. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT, AND THEY CAME OUT. I HAVE HAD ONE PROBLEM, THEY FIXED IT, AND I HAVEN'T HAD ANYTHING SINCE.

THEY HAVE PROVIDED GOOD SERVICE. THEY ARE RELIABLE. IF THE ALARM GOES OFF, THEY CALL RIGHT AWAY. ALSO THE SYSTEM FUNCTIONS WELL.

THEY ARE A FAIR COMPANY. THEIR PRICES ARE COMPETITIVE. I COULD PROBABLY GET A LOWER PRICE, BUT WITH A LESS RELIABLE COMPANY. THEY WERE VERY NICE WHEN WE HAD AN ACCIDENT AND TRIPPED OUR OWN ALARM.

IT'S BEEN FINE. WE HAVEN'T HAD ANY ISSUES. THEY HAVE BEEN EASY TO WORK WITH. THE ONLY TIME THEY HAVE EVER BEEN HERE WAS WHEN THEY ORIGINALLY INSTALLED IT. IT WAS JUST WORKERS COMING.

THE TECHNICIAN WORKED VERY HARD TO UPGRADE OUR VERY OLD SYSTEM. I'M SURE HE NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD BE SUCH A CHALLENGE. HE WORKED CAREFULLY; THE JOB LOOKED GOOD AND WORKS WELL.

IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. THEY LOOKED OUT FOR OUR PERSONAL NEEDS, WERE THOROUGH, PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL. THEY WENT OVER THE FEATURES OF THE SYSTEM AND HOW TO WORK IT.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE FINALE PRODUCT. I FEEL MORE SECURE LEAVING MY HOUSE AND COMING HOME AFTER BEING GONE FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME. PROTECTION ONE HAS BEEN VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL.

MEMBER HAS HAD SEVERAL SERVICE PROBLEMS AND THEY HAVE WITHDRAWN EXTRA PAYMENTS AUTOMATICALLY FROM HER ACCOUNT WHICH SHE ASKED TO BE CREDITED-NO RESPONSE. AL RECEIVED NO RESPONSE FROM CO. WHEN CONTACTED.
