My animals are my family. I recently moved to Oregon and was very nervous about leaving everyone to fly back to the Midwest for the holidays. Michelle came over to my house several times to meet the group before I left. Her love of animals and dedication to her business were immediately evident. I knew my animals were in very capable hands while I was gone; Michelle sent me frequent updates so I wouldn't worry! Michelle took extraordinary care of all seven of my animals who are older and have various special needs. When I returned home everyone was in excellent shape both physically and emotionally. Most surprisingly was my cat Sam who has trouble trusting people since he was rescued from appalling conditions several years ago. Sam generally gets depressed when I leave town and lost weight while in the care of another capable petsitter last year. When I got home after he was in Michelle's care however, Sam was happy, confident and had clearly enjoyed her company. Michelle has a way with animals and did a wonderful, professional job. In addition to doing the work I hired her to do, Michelle went above and beyond by seeking out information for me. My dog Molly is missing a leg and has begun to have mobility issues in her older age. Michelle knows a number of "dog people" through her work, and offered to ask around about possible therapies and additional veterinary options for Molly. The information she found was very helpful and will assist me in gaining the best care possible for Molly.
