 + -1 moreMy company has a customer with a small branch office in Portland. After we made changes to their computer equipment remotely on a Friday evening, we were unable to re-establish connectivity. Needing to get them back online as soon as possible, I was able to contact them on Saturday afternoon and schedule a resource for Monday morning. The technician was prompt, professional, easy to work with, brought what he needed to the work site, and we were able to get the problem resolved in short order. Price was very reasonable as well. As a fellow IT professional, I would recommend to others in the area.
Description of Work: Provided on-site remote-hands to assist us in restoring network/internet connectivity for a branch office location in Portland.

 + -1 moreI have used them a few times to build computers for me. Every three or four years I buy a computer form them and have it built for me. It is usually, $2000 to $2500 per computer. I get really big machines. They can be really busy so it can take a couple of weeks. They are the only ones I have used to build my computers and I would use them in the future.
Description of Work: I used Pacific Solutions to build my computers. I last used them about two years ago.

 + -1 morePC that would not come on at all was fixed within a few days, with the previously nonfunctional DVD player fixed as well. Staff were pleasant and friendly.
Description of Work: PS replaced power supply in a desktop computer, and fixed the DVD player that had not worked for quite a while. The DVD player turned out to require only the proper drivers installed, but I had spent quite a bit of time trying that without success. I had suggested that they just replace it, and expected a higher bill.

 + -1 moreIt went pretty well, considering the amount of time I spend on my computer and how ansy people (namely me) get when their computers are suddenly "gone". I made it a point to only call once of the days they had my computer so that I wasn't too terribly annoying and they were patient with me and delivered on their promise of getting my computer back to me by the 3rd day.
Description of Work: My computer had a nervous breakdown on Dec.13th, @3pm and I called Pacific Solutions because they had built my computer for me a number of years ago. The tech (who came right over, as things were slow) thought at 1st it was the video card, but, alas, such was not the case and he had to leave with my hard drive in tow. He told me I would have my computer back by Dec.15th. I spent the evening reading and watching TV. The next afternoon I'd not heard from them so I called, and they told me it had just been looked at (!), and they were having to use the process of elimination to determine where the problem was. They understood that I was getting tweaky about not having my computer and said it would be fixed by the next day. My sister came over and spent the afternoon and evening with me, commenting on how nice it was that I was spending my time with her instead of on the computer. On the 15th, I waited until @3pm, then called and they were just getting ready to call me. It had been the Mother Board. They had installed a new one, run tests and made sure everything was in working order and ready to go. They now charge a $29 fee for pick-up and delivery (just one time) and only charged an hour labor and diagnostic fee of $70. The Motherboard was $52. The tech delivered and reinstalled my computer on his way home from work; perhaps he knew I was growing desperate........ I am disabled and cannot pack my computer to and from their store or I would have, but the fee, which is new, wasn't too terrible, and they are a good shop, knowledgable and familiar to me.

 + -1 moreI WAS SATISFIED. I WOULD GO TO THEM AGAIN. THEY FIXED WHAT I NEEDED TO BE FIXED. WE HAD TO TRY TWICE TO GET IT FIXED. THE PEOPLE WHO DID THE WORK WERE POLITE AND COURTEOUS.

 + -1 moreTHE TURNAROUND TIME WAS VERY QUICK TO GET OUR COMPUTER BACK. THEY REALLY SEEMED TO UNDERSTAND HOW IMPORTANT OUR COMPUTER HAD BECOME TO US. WE GOT OUR COMPUTER BACK IN 2 DAYS, CLEANED OUT AND SPED UP.
