Oregon Chem-Dry

I hired them thinking the name Chem-Dry meant they would not saturate my carpet. The carpet was left after two visits ringing wet. So wet we had to walk on towels for a week. The costs and inconvenience was like no other carpet cleaning we had ever experienced.

These guys were awesome! We had a deadline with company coming, but they stayed late, got it done on time and did an outstanding job. My carpets look beautiful! And the prices were quite reasonable. I highly recommend!

With the different people that have come out, they have all been excellent only took about half a day. Really good, courteous professional and thorough workers. When they first come in they vacuum really thoroughly and apply some sort of solution that does not leave your carpets soggy. The stairs may be a little damper as they really scrub those but by the late evening it's dry. Its relatively safe no one in the family has fallen ill from a musty smell. I have used them since 2007.

We have used this company for many years. They have always done a very good professional job. When I called them to come out again, they quoted and confirmed the same price as they did the last two visits. When the cleaner came out this time, he was prompt and courteous. He measured our home and then came out with a completely different price. He increased the price stating he measured more square feet then in the past. Since we have been in our home for many years and have not increased or changed our carpeting and furniture, that excuse didn't make any sense. it reprsented a reason to increase the already agreed price. After negotiating with his boss, which we should not have had to go through, they agreed to do the job for the price they quoted on the phone as I booked the appointment. Even though they did a very good job using only one man, I would not use them again nor recommend them again. We waisted almost an hour discussing the pricing and his measuring. Having only one person to do the job increase the time it took to complete the project.

The technician called us when he was 15 minutes away from the appointed time. He was very punctual. On entering our home, he took his shoes off an put on and quot;bootiesand quot; and did this several times as he went outside and re-entered. He took time to ask questions and listen attentively to our questions/concerns. Then he gave us options and advised us on any of his concerns. Our carpeting and chairs are older. This technician diligently worked to do the best job for us, and in the end, we were very pleased. The best surprise was after he re-measured (because we had measured to get an approximate estimate over the phone), he told us his measurements were less than ours, so that brought down the cost. I can't remember this technician's name and can't make out his name on our paperwork, but maybe this would help. Our appointment was at 11am and he is an African-American, so maybe his company has records of who they sent out to us that day. We so appreciated his honesty, his friendliness, his politeness, how considerate he was in clean-up, etc.,, and the special attention he gave to what he was doing. He was thorough in what he did.

It went well. The technicians were efficient and pleasant, seeming to know their product and how to apply/use it.

The reason I chose Oregon Chem Dry was because their carpet cleaning method extracts almost all the moisture from the carpets, meaning they are dry in about 2-3 hours (instead of the 24 hours the old method used to take). In addition, I was impressed with their ability to remove deeply-set stains (there's a short video you can watch on their web site). They get high marks on Angie's List, too! When I called, they were able to schedule me in 1-2 days and called the day before to confirm the appointment. On the morning of my appointment, the men called and were able to come earlier than expected, which was great! I'm a real stickler for punctuality, so the fact that they could come sooner was a bonus. As soon as the 3 men arrived, they politely introduced themselves and came in to do a walk-around with me so that I could show them which areas I wanted cleaned. We discussed furniture moving and anything else relevant, then they measured each room in order to work up the estimate. The estimate was thoroughly explained to me and after I made my choice of services, I paid with my credit card. The man who did the estimate left and the two young men who did the cleaning began with a general vacuuming. Then the deep cleaning began, so I shut myself in my bedroom with my cats and read a book while they worked. When they were finished they asked me to come inspect their work, so I walked from room to room and enjoyed the beautiful clean carpets and the delightful fresh scent (no perfumes!) They cleaned up after themselves and told me to expect the carpets to be dry in approximately 2-3 hours, so I was able to put everything back in place and restore my house to normal on the same day. Love that!

They were timely, neat, and did a great job. They were also very careful with the furniture.

They are on time. They do a thorough job in vacuuming before they clean. They help move furniture. They will comeback if there are any spots that come back and I have never had them comeback for that. The carpet cleaning staff are always quick, they know exactly what they to do. They are professional and friendly. I will continue to use them in the future.

Overall it went great. I've been using them for years. Their people are always friendly and professional. They are on time. They do a good job. I would recommend them because of their professionalism and quality of work. I would use their services again in the future.

We were very pleased with the thoroughness of their cleaning and the promptness of being available. They were here when they said they were going to get here and did the job, so we were pleased with them. The little thing that we would not have thorough of was that they put little blocks of Styrofoam under the furniture. They put it when they put the furniture back on the carpet which kept any moisture that was left in the carpet from rusting at the bottom of the chairs and the lamps. One of our lamps rusted years and years ago. They protected both the furniture and the carpet. My husband and I are in our 80’s and we grade them a B on price because it is just the way we feel about the prices.

Fantastic. Russ showed up on time, provided a detailed estimate of the work to be performed and the costs involved, then spent the rest of the day transforming stained carpet and furniture into amazingly clean surfaces. Although not cheap, we feel that we got our monies worth, and would not hesitate to use their services again.

The price was fine, and the work was good. I would use them again in the future.

They did a nice job. I had a severely stained rug and a few spots resurfaced, but overall I was happy with the work.

Overall the space we needed cleaning was small so the man assigned to our job also cleaned the kitchen throw rug and long runner. Everything went well with the service we received.

They were very professional and did a good job. We had some carpets that were really hard to clean and they didn’t get 100% of the dirt out. I have 5 animals and I didn’t expect them to clean it completely. They got it looking pretty nice. I would use them again in future.

They went beyond what I expected!

We use Chem-dry every 3 months to keep the carpeted parts of our house clean. Because we have dogs and the carpets are a light color, this is a necessary maintenance task. Chem-Dry is usually able schedule a visit within less than a week of calling. We don't have a lot of carpet and so always pay the basic minimum.

They did a wonderful job! They move the bigger items that I have so they can clean around that as well. I will continue to use them when I need my carpets cleaned in the future.

I like the process of their cleaning. They do a good job, and I will continue to use them.

This is my favorite company. I am actually going to recall them to come back out soon. They do great work. They spot treat and everything. The carpets dry really fast because they do not soak them. I do not remember the cost, but, they do have a lot of coupon ads in the mailer. They do specials depending of course on how much you are having cleaned.

I had a very dirty light colored carpet that has been cleaned by other companies many times before, but nothing like this. What a great job. I would recommend this company to anyone, in fact I already have.

They were very good. They called me about a week later to follow up and let me know the have a 30 day guarantee (for lack of a better word) and also to see if it was done to my satisfaction. I was very pleased. They were able to do it on short notice which I also liked.
