A+. adam and his team did an amazing work. my kitchen now looks like my dream!

My business interaction with NW Builders and Renovation started shortly after last year's ice storm freeze and thaw. One day I discovered that I had water dripping from the ceiling on the 1st floor of my home. The source of the leak was found by a remediation company I hired after initiating a insurance policy claim. I hired NW B&R to perform the work which was completed to my complete satisfaction (project #1). Adam Fretas was the overall project manager. I continued to work with Adam and NW B&R additional projects that included: (2) entire asphalt shingle roof replacement that was many thousands less than other bids, (3) drywall install and texture to repair the water leaking from ceiling , (4) external whole house painting, (5) internal whole house painting, (6) carpentry work to add skirting to stairs, and (7) replacement of bathroom exhaust fans and kitchen vents. All of these were completed on time, on-budget, and to my satisfaction. Adam is GREAT at managing all projects!

We started with this company for some sun tunnels and signed a contract. I put 3K down as a down payment and was looking forward to having the sun tunnels installed but got a bad feeling I was being over charged so I had two other companies come out to give me bids and they both came back about the same but Northwest Builders was 4 times the cost. I canceled the job but was never given back my 3K deposit. Complete scam and Adam Fretas was a very impolite and misleading salesperson who took advantage of hard working people. Adam told me he would give me back my deposit but never did.

They never came back to fix the bad corner. We have tried to communicate with them several times, we just keep getting a run around. We are too old to get up there ourselves. They have taken advantage of senior citizens. It already cost us $1280 in the spand of 6 months

My sales person was polite but the company itself leaves a lot to be desired. On 10/07/2022 they were notified that the nails blew through the eves and from the outside and it looks horrible. On top of that, when it rains, the water flows over my gutters on my front dormer like a waterfall. To them its just cosmetic, but this is my home and I have a bid that says this is a 2000.00 dollar mistake. After reaching out at the beginning of this month (Nov 2022) my sales person said it’s out of his hands. They made a big deal out of getting a 5-star review so maybe this will get their attention.

I hired NW Builders & Renovation to build a TREX deck for my home and I feel like they scammed me. My deck was built in April of 2022 and cost me over $60k. They had engineering diagrams and architectural drawings 5 months prior to starting this project. They mismeasured the deck and cut an area shorter than the agreed specifications. NW Builders & Renovation switched out railing materials for lower-end products. When asked about this, the boss gave me the run around as to why they couldn’t give me what was bid on. He then wanted to charge me $10k to correct their mistake. Further, the railing that got installed is all screwed up. Posts are crooked and the handrail heights don’t match. They also cut into the deck to try and get the handrail to fit, which looks terrible. In addition, they mismatched colors on the TREX RainEscape product which was not discussed with me before they installed it. Worst of all, they laid the decking down incorrectly. The decking is laid down with TREX Hideaway screws, but they didn’t install them per the requirements in the TREX installation guide. TREX requires four Hideaway screws and a sister joist or nailer board at every abutted joint. NW Builders & Renovation installed one screw to span the joint and did not add any sister joists. They have insisted that it is installed correctly, but I have confirmation from the TREX support team that the joints are installed wrong. Now, I have loose deck boards throughout the entire deck that NW Builders & Renovation refuses to fix. This company represents itself as a TREX Professional installer and they don’t install their own products right. I’m absolutely amazed at the lack of quality in the work. They lied multiple times about what I was getting, and they did not guarantee their work as they told me. The Project Manager is actually a salesperson and didn’t manage the project at all. And, after my final payment, they hit me with an additional “tax” payment, which felt very shady after I had already paid them in full. If you are lucky enough to be reading this, I suggest that you steer clear of this company because they perform unethical business practices. It went great they did a good job. They were very professional.

The roof had to be done twice. Initially, the first crew's work was below par; however, the owner came back, at his own expense, with a new crew to totally redo the job, plus repair any flubs , messes, etc. made by the first crew. He "bent over backwards" to rectify any issues that concerned us. We were impressed by his dedication to provide a quality end result.

They did a fine job. The problems occurred because of the bad weather. They broke some of the plants because the materials fell from the roof. We have a very steep roof. I don't have any complaints. I would highly recommend them. They did a fine job.

I was pleased how they worked together so well. Each step of the way one worker would stop and show me pictures of the damage wood that was happening as they took the roof off. I will be hiring them again.

Northwest Builders and Renovations did an excellent job on our house. I would hire them again for any work I need done. Tommy is great and very detail oriented. If you are looking for a great company give them a call.

Job was done in a timely manner. Workers were friendly, polite, showed on time and immediately started working no standing around wasting time. Finished projects looks really good. Very happy
