They did a fine job.  The work was done promptly and looks good.

Mike B worked for friends of ours, they thought he did a great job. I referred him to my sister for some work. His work was OK, he missed a few details. I had a simple job, thought he'd be able to perform that easily. I'd removed a ceiling fan from one room and purchased a new one to install. I also wanted to switch out a flush ceiling fixture for a small, single bulb decorative hanging fixture. He did the hanging fixture first, it has teardrop shaped glass peicess hanging from it. I had hung one of these before and found that some of the pieces tangled with each other, so I went through the fixture the night before Mike arrived to make sure all the pieces were disentangled and the teardrops were in good condition. After Mike hung it, he handed me a few broken teardrop pieces and said "You had some broken pieces in there." I knew that wasn't true, but fortunately there were enough crystals that the few missing broken pieces didn't show. Then he put up the ceiling fan. I was home the whole time. When he finished, I went to see. The base of the new fan (round) did not completely cover the square hole cut into the ceiling drywall from the previous fixture! There were four vacant corners sticking out from the new ceiling fan base. Mike said I'd have to get "one of those ceiling donuts to cover that." I said "Well can I install one of those without removing the fan?" He said "No. You'll have to take the fan down." Oh brother! There was no reason he could not have called me into the room to let me know that the new base wouldn't cover the hole, I was home in my office the whole time; I can't imagine why he would just install the fixture anyway. I had a photographer coming the next day because we were putting the house on the market. I paid Mike anyway but have always regretted that I didn't confront him about that. Mike can do good work but he has no common sense, he doesn't pay attention to details, and I'm not sure I'd call him an honest guy.

They do a good job and their pricing is ok.

Very well. He did all the work and did a good job over a period of three weeks. On the second week, he wasn't able to come because he was finishing another job, but that was not a problem for us.
