The service was excellent . I highly recommend them.

They did a great job arranging for the new gutters. Everything was fine. They did an excellent job. They're pretty expensive but we thought it was well worth it because it looks like a new house. Everything was exterior. They didn't do anything inside. They gave us an estimate when it started and that's what it was. I've known Nick's  folks for a long time.. I felt like they'd be honest and they were. They weren't fooling around. When we finished, we noticed that the air conditioner outside had not been painted and it's quite old but it works fine. It's a big metal box about 3 1/2 feet high and 4 by 5. Not only did we not have to pay extra for it, they did an excellent job. It looks like a new piece of machinery. When Nick came over a few days later, he complimented both us and the painter for getting it done. We're just happy all the way around. They came when they said they were.

He was excellent. They scheduiled the appoiintment, came out and took care of it right away. They cleaned up after themsleves and have followed up with me to assure I was satisfied with the service.

The final product is fantastic! My house is a 1909 small bungalow-victorian number in SE Portland. After 5 years of living there without being able to take a stand-up shower, I finally decided to do a major remodel. NWC was recommended by a mutual friend. Nick is a very nice and understanding contractor. I did not live at the house during the process, but my neighbors did not have any trouble with the workers. Both bathrooms match the original moldings and other qualities of the time. The craftsmanship is terrific. There were a few cost adages during the project, but those were all things encountered in an older home. Nick was very responsive and willing to immediately fix minor touch-ups that I noticed months after the project finished.

He is amazing. He had a dead line because we had to move. He was incredible understanding. The work was done with high quality. We were so impressed with the crew that we had a party for them when the job was finished. He will still come back if we needed the smallest thing done.

Overall--Nick and NWC did a great job, we've recommended them to friends and we will work with them again in the future. The quality of their work was fantastic and the crew was really great to work with. John, our project foreman, was especially wonderful. With that said, we'd recommend that anyone going into a project of this scope prepare to closely manage the project, especially the budget, in close consultation with the contractor. We made a lot of decisions along the way that had the effect of ballooning costs well beyond the original estimate.

Work went well. It was completed under the time frame and budget estimates. There was custom work required because tiled windowsills were replaced with wood ones. All work was done with good craftsmanship. Daily clean-up was great and final clean-up was impeccable.
