Morgan and Sons

We have used Morgan and Sons for many years. (Why I haven't written a review before is beyond me!!)  In addition, we have recommended him to numerous people.
Steve arrived promptly as scheduled and did an excellent job throughout our home.  Steve made sure to begin cleaning in the areas we would need first so that they would dry first.  In addition, he made sure that fans were used to speed the drying process.  He noted a couple of areas where the carpet was flattened and spent extra time working on those areas to bring the pile back up.  He also noted and treated a couple of stain areas that my wife and I had not seen.  This kind of attention to detail is indicative of the care and professionalism that Steve brings to the job.
We have several pieces of furniture that have strong sentimental value (one made by my wife's late father, another made by her grandfather and several from my family dating back to the early 1900's). Steve treated them with the utmost care and respect, moving them carefully and placing them back as soon as he could after cleaning that area.
Large items such as our couches were placed on sliders to allow him to move them while cleaning.  In the case of two items which could not be moved, Steve made sure to clean completely and carefully around them.  When furniture was moved, it was usually returned to the approximate location and placed on styrofoam blocks to allow the areas to dry before finally relocating the items to their exact location.
One final note: We have two leather ottomans and I asked Steve's recommendation for cleaning them.  Steve made two suggestions for cleaning solutions and then went out of his way to pick one up for me and drop it off at our home two days later!
I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Steve and his work.  We heartily endorse him and are please to continue to use his service!

The water line broke beneath our basement family room in early December, 2014, flooding about half of our family room and a section of our guest room. Steve came as soon as possible, after a full day of work elsewhere, suctioned the water from the carpet, removed the soaked padding, and cleaned and sanitazed the carpet in both rooms. He brought in a large dehumidifier and two very large fans to begin drying out the affected woodwork and drywall. He followed up for several weeks, checking humudity levels frequently. He recommended Power Plumbing to replace the aging waterline from the street to the main entry valve. After Power Plumbing completed their work, Steve returned to install new padding and reinstall the carpet. It looks great!
We highly commend Steve for his excellent work. He has a strong work ethic and very high standards. Steve majored in chemistry in college. He studies and adheres to environmentally sound principles and practices. We highly recommend him!
