MODERN FLOORING LLC

This company did the kitchen and downstairs floor in my parents home, who are in their late 70s, just about a year ago. We began selling their home a few months ago, with what should look like new floors, but in the kitchen their install totally failed and looks TERRIBLE. Why? Their installer hammered-in 7 rows of flooring that meet the doorway, because he needed more room to put in the transition strip. Why does that matter? It caused every board across 6ft x 12ft of flooring to buckle. Now, all the edges are slowly breaking. IT LOOKS TERRIBLE!! They refuse to honor their work. They suggested maybe it was a bad batch of boards and offered a discount on new work, but the downstairs looks fine... It was not the boards. ALSO, they did NOT do the work themselves. THEY SUB-CONTRACTED it to an amateur, who obviously did not know what hammering-in would do... Good priced product, but DO NOT TRUST their installation quality or honor.
