Excellent. Meticulous arrived promptly, inspected the problem and clearly described what needed to be done. We will definitely be using them again.

They handled the problem within hours. Charged a reasonable $69 to assess the issue, $50 of which went toward the total bill. Very quick, high quality and worth it.

Dan did a beautiful job, which turned out to be much more complicated and messy (crawlspace) job than originally thought. The cast iron toilet flange in my older house was raised up too far for any newer model toilet to fit over. He figured out the best possible long lasting solution,explained it all to me, and spent extra time to do it, which i was glad to pay for because it means I won't have to have the floor replaced yet again because of a toilet leak. The bath vanity wouldn't fit and the ones that would have were unbearably ugly and cheap. He called for help so that the job would be finished and I would have both a toilet and a sink that day. Mike came over, they notched a drawer set into vanity so it would fit, and caulked and cleaned like the professionals they are. So happy I found a reliable company with plumbers whose judgements I trust! Ps it is also really nice that they explained EVERYTHING without being patronizing, which I truly appreciate. They had a hard time convincing me that the new toilet was supposed to sound like it did because its the way the water efficient ones work. My 20-30 yr old model sounded way different ( and made for a real mess). IF you are thinking there might be a problem with your plumbing, ask these guys to check it out so you don't have to also pay for a new floor like I did because I put it off too long.

I cannot say enough nice things about this business. Rocky came to my house and gave an estimate to replace a leaking pipe in my crawl space. They came back to get the work done. Their phone support and Rocky were consistently polite, punctual, fair-priced, and no games. I would highly recommend them and I would use them again in a heart beat.

Daniel came by and did an excellent job! Our clawfoot tub setup is kind of ridiculous, and he was a champion throughout the entire process. It's clear that Meticulous Plumbing is a professional organization. Daniel knew exactly what was expected of him and came well prepared. He needed minimal instruction and went above and beyond. He finished early and even looked at the toilet, which was being uncooperative. Would absolutely hire them again. Also, Erin, who came by to do the initial viewing was similarly professional and great. Would 100% use them again (probably for the toilet!)

Joe and Rocky were very professional, the communication throughout the job was clear and concise. The work was completed correctly and on time. They even helped me track down a better shower base. The one I had purchased from Home Depot would have worked but the appearance was less than ideal for a tiled shower. Joe called a couple of the plumbing supply companies they use and found one for me at a good price. All around a great experience, would definitely hire this company again.

Everyone was very professional and always punctual. Joe the technician was excellent to work with in coming up with a routing solution for the drain pipe. His work was completed early and with quality.

A shut off valve (installed around 1929) to a hose bib failed and water ran from the leak across the floor to the basement floor drain. the project went well, cut out old pipe upstream of failed valve, removed existing valve and piping to wall of house (in crawl space), added NPT to PEX adapter and routed PEX to new hose bib connection. This allowed me to move items that weren't damaged by water from failed valve back into storage.

I explained that I needed an ADA shower to replace an existing fiberglass bath unit in a condo on a slab. I waited a couple weeks for Leo to come out between 9 and 11. He was on time, but once he came in I guess he decided he didn't want to do the job. He told me about problems with HOA approval (I already had it), shut off valves (we located it), working on a slab (he knew that coming in), that baths are 1.5" drains and showers are 2" drains (standard for plumbing, no surprise there). He knew all this before he arrived - why waste my time?? Maybe he had nothing better to do, but I do! A TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME!

I contacted several plumbers before deciding to go with Meticulous and I am happy we did. Daniel arrived punctually at the appointed time and did the work in a professional and pleasant manner., We are very happy with the results and would certainly hire them again.

Excellent. The Meticulous plumber on the job not only fixed the issue but showed me how the faucet cover worked (it took a while to figure out how to gain access to the needed bolts for tightening) so I can do the adjustments in the future if needed.

Joey was the service provider and was GREAT! Work was done as needed; and he described everything done as well as options. Company charges a "flat rate" for each service versus time and parts which made it a bit more expensive than we had hoped for. But, the work was done and explained thoroughly. AND, we are very happy with the end result. So, we will hire again with advance quotes from multiple vendors in order to make a more informed decision.

Showed up on time, got the fridge hooked up quickly and at a fair price. Very polite, very happy with results.

Very easy set-up and communication. Erin was very nice and professional during her visit. I was a little disappointed that they couldn't use the part that I bought at Home Depot because I had already unpacked it. Nonetheless, Erin did very good work in a short amount of time. She even fixed my toilet seat that was loose without me asking. I highly recommend

Really well! Meticulous first came in August re this problem. Thorough check of drainage, then modification of the flexible pipe between the washer and the standpipe. No problems until early Feb., when overflows started again. When I called, I got Meticulous' message about wait times (two weeks)--but I got a response to my message right away, from a warm and courteous person, and an app't for the next day. I expressed some concern about another expense for the same issue; and was reassured that "we stand by our work," so that if recurring problem were related to earlier work there'd be no charge. Here's what I also liked: Same plumber for this second visit--Joey, a cheerful guy who is happy to talk about how he is thinking about the problem and what he is finding as he diagnoses. He called to update his arrival, and was here on time and within 20 minutes of the start of the 2-hour window. He did another thorough check of drainage. He consulted with owner when standpipe kept up fine with water from a supply line, but not from washer itself. He was here nearly an hour and a half, snaking and retesting multiple times. He changed a drippy supply line, put the washer back in the same position it'd been in. And indeed, there was no charge for this second visit. I was thoroughly impressed with Meticulous' responsiveness, courtesy and professionalism.

Excellent. Could not be more pleased. Plumbers were professional and had a very high level of integrity. Job was managed by Joe McPhee and he was the nicest guy and very skilled in what he does. Job site was left clean and all our requests were attended to. The owner Leo Borton was also on the job site several times to assist with complications and defects that were present due to the age of the house and the way the builders originally installed the plumbing. My father was a plumber and I have done quite a bit of basic plumbing work and am extremely picky about who works on our house. I would not recommend them if I did not see the great work they did first hand. I would totally recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again in the future. Also a shout out to the office staff that supported the plumbers on the job and notified us when they were running late, etc. Thank you very much!

Just fine. I was consulted at a couple of points, and everything was well-explained. I also have a clearer idea of potential future projects. I am pleased.

Something has changed at meticulous. I've used them for 5 years for various sized jobs and had come to trust them. They've always done good work at a fair price. Unfortunately, that is no longer their policy. This time, I had to leave before the plumber arrived as he was running late, so I told my partner to just accept his bid and let him start the work. Their bids have always been fair. In the past, even if the bid was high, if it turned out to be really quick and easy they often charged less in the end. I'm fine with paying a premium for good work, especially if the job is harder than expected, so I left in good faith in the fairness of the bid. Huge mistake. The job was to replace the fill valve and line on two toilets that were functioning fine but doing that thing were they keep running unless you jiggle the handle. The costs for the parts is about 19.99. I came home to find that the bid was $560! I stopped him after doing just the one. For $560, I'm OK with just jiggling the handle. It took him about 20 minutes to do the one toilet, and he said, he had to charge me $299.00 just for the one. So, if he had done the other for $260 that comes out to $779.02 per hour for labor after subtracting the cost of parts. When I asked him what was going on with this crazy bid, he told me the company now requires him to charge this much for class of job, no matter how long it takes. This was the same guy who had done great work at a fair price in the past. Something has seriously changed at meticulous. I paid for the work that was done because I told my partner to accept the bid sight unseen, so that was an agreement I felt I had to honor. That was my mistake, trusting meticulous to do an honest business. I will however, never make that mistake again. They will not give you any kind of estimate over the phone, and they charge you $69.00 just to come out and look at it, whether they do the work or not. Fine, as long as they give you a fair bid once they arrive, but those days are over. Shame on you meticulous. Its really hard not to see your new business model as a scam. This loyal customer is gone.

It went very poorly. The plumber was not very professional and seemed bored. He did install the under sink filter, but when he tested the water coming out of the spigot, the pressure was much lower. He said it must just be because of the filter. We trusted his judgement because hey, he's the plumber. Well, he was wrong. The fitting had a problem and a day later, we woke up and found a huge puddle that had formed on our hardwood floors overnight, and was getting even bigger. We had just moved into our house and had the floors completely redone, but now they were buckling from the water damage. A higher up came back, said the fitting had failed, and that we needed to talk to the owner. This is where I'm most upset: the owner took no responsibility for the fact that their plumber should have seen the low water pressure as a sign something was wrong. He also refused to refund us the roughly $200 for the service. He said we'll have to deal with insurance. Filing an insurance claim will take more money than it will take to fix the floors, and it certainly will take a lot of time (I've been through that before because of another plumbing error in our previous home!). There's a lot of plumbers out there. Skip this one.

He always gives a special rate for people who live in Roe City. He replaced all my water pipes. They started leaking. They're over a 100 years. This house was built in 25. They come in a week of so before they started and did a walk around.What we needed to do, what we'd do here, what we'd do there. It's a two story house. There's a full bath upstairs, a full bath on the main floor and the washing machine and all that stuff is down in the basement so there's lots of plumbing. It was a really good price cause I had a bid from 3 different businesses. He was about half than everybody else. We helped them up. We left while they did it. My wife gets around on a walker. We're senior citizens. We were only gone for three days. If we had of staye dhere it would've taken a week cause they'd have to to keep the water and everything. When we left the just shut everything down and do it. We had to keep a bathroom open and water for at least one bathroom and the kitchen at all times.

It was very informative and helpful for decision making.
