Things went great. I paid $59 for inspection of my gas furnace, which was making an odd, brief whirring sound upon start-up. The friendly technician was prompt and quickly found the problem right after opening the furnace - it was a small bracket thing that came slightly out of place. He put it back in place, inspected everything else, did some testing, and in the end said, "Everything is fine, have a nice day." No additional charges or upsells or anything like that. Just $59. Love it. I highly recommend them.

This was the only furnace company who could come out when our family woke up with no heat. It was a Friday, and everyone else I called said they could not come out until the middle of the following week. They said they were booked, but moved stuff around so they could come before the weekend, which I appreciated. The guy who showed up was prompt, friendly, and did the installation rather quickly. Heat again by afternoon, which was really nice because it was December cold outside. $450 wasn't cheap, but it was a lot less than a new furnace!

I was very pleased with the service. The technician arrived right on time. He was very thorough and professional. He was comfortable with me watching while he worked and asking questions about furnace maintenance and potential problems I should watch out for with a 16 year old furnace. I was long overdue to have my furnace maintained. I would highly recommend that other homeowners take advantage of this service offered by Comfort Solutions.

It was fine. They were on time and there was nothing wrong with the service. It was the same guy that came the last time. Even though the price was higher than the deal I had last year for the same service, in comparison to what I can see online with other providers charges, I would say it is a fair price. The quality was fine. Responsiveness was good, they responded within the time frame of about 48hrs and scheduled. We booked it for afternoon but the guy was here like half an hour prior to that at least and we were not home yet. They had him wait in the driveway. They didn't penalized us or reschedule because we were not present when he was ready to do it. We would use them again if the price is still as good.

The technician arrived on time and immediately got to work. Our new to us house was a little run down and the furnace was no exception. The technician took extra time to get the furnace cleaned really well and make sure everything was in good working order. He gave us some advice on a maintenance schedule and what we could expect in the next few years with an older furnace. We were very pleased and won't hesitate to call them again.

The technician was fantastic and really went the extra steps to spend time on properly managing and cleaning electric filters. I learned a trick on using the dishwasher to clean the filters and he even gave us instruction on using paper filters for awhile while we did remodeling in our home with sheet rock and mudding taping and a lot of sanding, which is very h****** the sensitive electric filters. I would have never known we were abusing our system and shortening the life span of furnace parts. He even gave us tips on improving performance and reducing costs

The technician was great. He was thorough, knowledgeable and did good work. I rated their price as C, because the wire installation took about 15 minutes, used approximately 30 ft of wire and cost (if I recall correctly, the receipt was not itemized) $130 of the $180 transaction.

The man who came out was pleasant and checked out the furnace and heat pump. He found a dead mouse outside in the heat pump area which he disposed of but other than that could no problem in the functioning of our system. He said the noise was in the duct work with the expanding and contracting of the ducts when air is pushed through the systemThe het pump is fine but the noise remains. I used the Angies list discount and saved $10.00!
Description of Work: Provider checked heat pump and air handler as there is a popping noise coming from the duct work. Afterwards wondered if he could have done more pressure checks in the the system to isolate the noise but didn't ask for that to be done and it was not part of the reason for calling. Suggest if you have this type of problem to ask for this to be done.

In the end, I'm glad because I got the pleasure of doing business with another company who treated the situation with more urgency and respect.
Description of Work: Called out Comfort Solutions after seeing great reviews on Angie's List. Furnace needed a straightforward tune-up and they had a special for Angie's List customer. Technician turns up and discovers that our 19 year old furnace had cracks in the heat exchanger. He advised us it was unsafe to run and turned off the gas to the furnace. They sent out a sales rep that afternoon who discussed various options with me, most to the tune of $5000 for a new furnace. I was amenable to the idea but wanted to think about it before committing. That's when it started getting weird. I asked for brochures. I got some but it was treated like an unusual request. I asked for a written estimate of cost. That was treated like an even stranger request. The sales rep took down my email and promised to have it by the next day. I thought that was fine because I could live a few days without heat even though temps were in the 30s. Short story = I never heard back from them. Not. One. Peep. No follow up. Zero. And they walked out of my house knowing that I had no heat in winter and was ready to spend some $$ on a new furnace.

I took Angie's List up on the deal for a 59.00 furnace tune up. Really I just wanted to make sure it was in tip top shape. They called 30min before and the tech was on time. I ended up letting him use my ladder because his were all wet from it raining. He did the inspection which was about 30min from hello to goodbye. My one issue is that he didn't use booties when he came in. Everyone else I have ever hired would do that before stepping foot in my house.

The furnace shutdown had occurred a week earlier but we had restarted the furnace by rebooting. Dan analyzed the fault codes and inspected the indicated systems. He said that recent high wind could have caused the fault by reducing pressure across an ignition system pressure sensor repeatedly.
Description of Work: Gas furnace tune up and inspection. We had recently experienced a fault driven shut down of the furnace. Dan analyzed the fault codes and thoroughly inspected and cleaned every corner of the furnace including those systems that could have been responsible for the fault codes. He advised that when one has a modern furnace shutdown without a visible cause, one should first turn off the power to reboot the circuitry in case it was a transient fault.
