About us
City Steward helps Portland area home owners become better stewards of our natural resources. We design and implement environmentally sound landscape and stormwater management projects, making the home's impact a more sustainable one. Naturescaping and native plants, downspout disconnects, rain gardens and other stormwater solutions, and pervious patios and paths are our specialties. Our goal is enhancing outdoor spaces to improve habitats--for people and for birds, bees, salmon and trees! We aim to promote native landscapes, reduce stormwater pollution, build soils organically, eliminate use of pesticides and herbicides, maximize re-use of materials, and support other like-minded local businesses.
