The employee was pleasant and seemed professional in manner. When he had finished his inspection, he told me there was some flashing missing from around my chimney on my newly roofed back half of the house. He took a photo with his phone and showed it to me, and indeed there was at least one piece of flashing missing. I thanked him and asked if he would e-mail me a copy of the photo which he said he would do. He did e-mail his bid to me, and again asking where his bid came in against the others, but he did not send the photo. I have since come to believe he may have removed that flashing during his inspection. I have no actual proof of this unprofessional behaviour except he didn't send the photo. The company that performed the work on the back half of the roof was called back to do some additional cleanup and confirmed that the flashing was in place at that time.
Description of Work: Asked for an estimate for roofing front half of my house which would match the back half of the house recently roofed. The repair of the back half of my house was an emergency repair without opportunity for comparison bids. I hoped to at least have comparison bids for the front half roof replacement.

Well the reroof part went ok. But the roof still leaked, The skylights leaked air through them.He came back out once to fix everything but didnt fix the skylights. I called him again and he said he would be back in a couple of days but never returned. So now I have to fix it myself and turn him in to the CCB State of Oregon..

Gordon came out the day he was called and worked with his partner well past 5 PM on a Friday to finish before the rain started the next day. Other bids were between $1,0000 to $5,000. He gave us a 2 year warrenty. He was extremely professional and did a good job.
Description of Work: Took out my leaky skylight and put down watertight 12" eterna bond around all 4 sides and painted over to match roof. Also patched over kitchen vent that was leaking.

Gordon gave us a bid that was competetively priced. He was very responsive and patiently answered all of my questions. His workers were hard working. They did a really nice and professional job and cleaned up everything at the end. I was very pleased with our new roof! Funny story: Gordon is the 2nd generation to own his family's roofing company. Gordon's dad is 82 years old and sitll came to the jobsite most mornings. He was quite the character. I liked that his company is a local, established, small roofing company.
Description of Work: Beans roofing tore off 3 layers of roofing on our 1926 steep pitched home. He installed a 30 year pabco premier shingled roof and subcontracted new gutters and downspouts and performed some dry rot repair

The roof itself was done correctly and I was reasonably pleased with the result. The owner stated that he would come back and snow coat my roof - and this was included in the price for the entire job. However, he continually made excuses as to why he couldn?t do it. He once said that his cell phone fell in the toilet and that was the reason he couldn?t contact me. The experience was really bad. He stated that he would be sending over someone to coat the roof but that person didn?t show up. It just went on and on and on. I ended up contacting Better Business Bureau, and a lawyer who told me what I needed to do. He even swore at me and hung up on me when I told him what my options were. I was going to end up reporting into a variety of other sources I had gotten. He contacted me back and finally ended up coming and doing the job. I used them based on Angie?s List recommendation. I would suggest that people not pay them until they completely finish the project because they will not come back and finish it. I would never use them in the future.
Description of Work: I used Beans Roofing to put in a roof and to add a layer of snow coat.
