State Construction

State Construction is entirely professional, from Justin, the boss, to the guys on the roof, to the younger men searching for and picking up debris to keep the property tidy. They started the job and kept at it until it was finished unlike those guys who complete a job in dribs and drabs while they juggle other work. We thought we had a problem and Justin responded innediately and helped us to understand we also needed some siding repairs, unrelated to the roof. Then he went above and beyond to help us line up a contractor for that. There is no doubt Justin conducts his jobs with care, for the craftsmanship and for the customer.

State Construction did an amazing job! We had just purchased an older manufactured home in July and were in the process of remodeling when we discovered just how badly we needed a new roof ASAP. Justin came out and gave us an estimate and was able to start the next week. He even came out a couple days beforehand to make sure the hole in our roof was covered from our new woodstove that had just been installed. We are very grateful he did because the weather forecast turned from chance of rain into a downpour. His crew came in and tore off the old roof, removed an old leaky skylight, repaired/replaced water damaged trusses and plywood. It was an extensive job which they completed in two days. The roof looks great and we couldn't be happier. We highly recommend State Construction and would definitely use them again.

Can’t say enough good things about my experience with Justin. Contacted him and he met me at my house the next day. We planned to do a complete tear down of our cedar shake roof and re-roof with composite (he also did our shed, on my request). We did a walk around where he explained the process fully, what he saw specific to my house that was needed. Made suggestions on materials, but was never pushy to upsell me on anything. Was very clear and concise and took the time to answer my questions and explain to me questions I never knew I had. Had a bid within a few hours, with everything laid out in easy to understand terms, straight and to the point. Justin answered my questions about the different shingle types and was honest with what would be best for our situation. Do your due diligence as we did, but trust me, Justin is more than just competitive on his pricing. As for the work, during the rainy season and not being in a rush Justin kept in contact about when the process would start. Justin was honest with us about the timeline of the work and that it would be ideal to wait for good conditions, to which we agreed. We met the day before work started at our house and went over any final concerns and questions. The work was completed in a timely fashion, looks great, and all debris was fully cleaned around my house. Justin checked in with me after the process to make sure we were happy with the work. It’s obvious when you first meet Justin he truly cares about his work and his customers. I highly recommend Justin and State Construction!

Went awesome! Who’d have thought people give compliments on a roof but sure enough, I keep getting compliments on how awesome it looks. All I did was go with Justin’s suggestions on literally every detail and believe me, they left no detail untouched. Roofs cost a lot of money but this is one time I genuinely feel good about the money spent! Well worth the cost!

This is our second home that we have had State Construction put a roof on. The work is excellent and they are always the best pricing. Very easy and friendly to work with. We are very happy with our finished product.

Justin was quick to respond for an estimate, and moved me up in his schedule once I realized (I went up in my attic) my current leaking roof was a lot worse than I thought. He Was quick to have new shingles and sheeting delivered rooftop, and had the job done within 2 days, including clean up. The complete job was done right and within 2 days. Everything went well. Justin communicated often and with each step or detail. I chose this company over another one that gave the approximately same bid cost because Justin was personable, and wasn't pushy or "salesy." He was professional and honest.

I contacted Justin for an estimate to replace my roof. He called me right back and was out within a few days to give me an estimate. His bid was inline with others I had gotten so I hired them. Since it was November trying to find time when it was not going to rain was challenging but Justin remained in contact with me so I knew when the work would be done. Justin and his crew showed up to start the work when they said they would. The crew worked very well, and cleaned up every night before they left. The work was completed as scheduled. Justin was very good about communicating with me through out the entire process

Justin and his team arrived on time and worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner. Justin was always happy to answer any questions I had and was great to work with. The workers were polite and did a good job cleaning up the worksite.

Went well from start to finish. A storm fell a tree on my roof so this was more then just a basic roof replacement. There was some pretty major damage done and as soon as the weather broke he was on it. Justin took the time to meet me at his distributor and explain the difference in shingles and show all the colors. He used high quality product and the roof looks fantastic. They were in and out in three days, all repairs done, and I would recommend this company to everyone.

It went very well. Justin is incredibly responsive and was able to schedule an estimate right away. He is very professional and nice and his crew was kind and cleaned up everything when they were done. They also were so helpful when I had questions! Very good company to work with.

Everything went really well. Justin(owner) came out months before we actually had work done, gave us a quote and stuck with the same quote(lowest of the 3 we got for same job and shingle). We needed to get a couple other things done first. Once we gave him the go ahead he stayed in constant communication about scheduling and the day of the work he was on site kicking the job off and multiple times during the day to check in and to check on finished. Justin crew was awesome, answering questions...while I was on the roof watching, they were patient, friendly and did a great job. They made sure everything was done to my liking and the cleaned up after themselves. Justin(State Construction) is local to me which I do my best to support as long as job done right and they exceeded my expectations for a fair price!!! Will definitely do business with them again! State Construction is another reputable Oregon City business!!

Justin from State Construction provided excellent customer service. My husband and I received several bids for our re-roofing project, and Justin was the only one that provide the time to throughly answer all of our questions and explain all the options available to us. His crew was very respectful and together they did a great job. I truly feel State Construction went above and beyond with their customer service and the delivery of a fantastic looking roof. I would use Justin and his crew again and I would highly recommend them.

Work was done efficiently with a great finished look. Cleanup was very good, too. Gutters were cleaned. House dust was blown off and debris was carted away. No damage to our plants and shrubs. Very professionally handled from beginning to end. Wife very pleased.

We has a persistent leak that a prior roofing company tried to fix unsuccessfully. Justin identified the problem and was competitive in price. Most importantly he fixed the leaky roof. He was on time and did a good job cleaning up after the job.

Justin was very easy to communicate with through all stages of the process: giving an estimate, recommending materials, scheduling the actual job, and during the two days of work. He was very enthusiastic and positive person to work with. We helped accommodate a unique materials situation on an odd part of my house. The only minor miscommunication was about the amount of debris the cedar shingles would drop into the attic and garage.

Justin and his crew were very personable and helpful. They were efficient and thorough, competing the job in just over two days, working well into the evening. Cleanup was thorough and Justin returned a day after completion to Windex-gym our skylights (nice touch). Would definitely use them again.

Job performance was excellent. Crews showed up on time and stayed late. The entire job was done in two days. The crews have worked together for years and their coordination showed that. Cleanup .was also thorough. I would be providing pictures of the completed roof but at the time I posted this review it was pouring down rain and I really didn't want to get wet. I would recommend this company for any future roofing needs and would not hesitate to hire them again.
