Mr. Rivas and his crew completed the project in one day. We have had his roof for 2 years now with no call backs or leaks.

We had a bad windstorm and the metal roof to my barn was damaged. One panel was wrenched out and folded over. Mr. Rivas came out the same day I called, although he was busy on the other side of the valley. He checked out the damage and returned the next day. He said the original screws were too short, so he reattached the panel using longer screws. I really appreciated his quick response and the fact that he was out climbing on that roof in the rain. I admit that I also happily paid the $175, since I considered it an emergency, though the price was a little high for 4 man-hours of work. (2 men / 2 hours) I don't like surprises, so though I would call Rivas again for roofing issues, I would get a clear idea of costs (a hard estimate) first.

Professional bid submitted, performed work well, excellent clean up and follow up for questions. Well priced. Highly recommended.

Received a call responding to my request for a roofing quote. Was punctual on his appointment. However, it was several weeks afterward that I finally received the quote. I had already decided on a contractor by then.

Delfino Rivas is a pleasure to work with. This was our first experience with a contractor let alone for a job so big. He was patient with us and our zillion questions, gave advise and stuck to his bid months later when we were finally ready. He did a client of ours roof and the neighbors and they are all happy customers. Good guy, good deal and good job!

Excellent experience! Rivas started the job as scheduled, tore off existing levels of old roofing, informed me of any needed changes prior to proceeding, cleaned up the site completely. Very conscientious work crew and a pleasure to do business with. I'd use them again and gladly recommend them.

All parts of this job were a pleasure working with Delfino Rivas and his crew. From getting a visit lined up to evaluate the job and receiving a bid, all the way through the completion of the work, everything was handled promptly, courteously, professionally, and on schedule. I sought bids from a "big box" store that advertises roofing services, one of the larger local roofing companies, and then Rivas Construction to get one from smaller providers (thank you Angie's List members for the reviews that caused me to call him), and the difference in pricing was significant (just for the roof portion the bids were basically $10K, $8K, 6K as you went bigger to smaller business). Additionally, what sold me as much as anything during the bid process, was the fact that I had the sense that as an owner/operator, Delfino truly values his reputation as a business owner and truly cares about doing quality work at a fair price. A different situation from the bids I got from people that were nice enough, but seemed to simply be working for someone else, and were expected to maximize the owner's profit. That sense of commitment to quality proved to be absolutely true when all the work was done. The secondary project related to the removal of my wood stove is probably a bit out of what he normally does, and it initially was presented by me as: "say, I also want to get this wood stove/hearth/chimney out - do you know someone that you trust that you would recommend for me to call that would do that kind of job"... and he said "let me take a look - as a general contractor it might be something we can do". He priced out a very reasonable addition for that work as part of the roofing bid, and it was a great relief that I didn't have to try to line up a separate contractor that could do the work to coincide with the roofing (and the job was done well). Obviously there is nothing fun about having to pay to have a roof replaced, but when it comes time to do it, I couldn't give Rivas Construction a higher recommendation. Price, promptness, courtesy, quality... sadly, all too rarely you get all those things, but I found I did with them.

Excellent! Delfino Rivas was prompt with his estimate. I found him to be so respectful, knowledgeable and experienced. He gave me the best BID and I am so glad I chose him. The workmanship and the clean up was excellent and his crew was very respectful. Work was all done in a timely manner. Top-notch job.

Got bid on Wednesday, and they did the work on Friday. Owner and workers were very polite and worked hard to get it all done in one day. Would use them again for sure. Good clean job.

Rivas Construction was prompt and efficient and polite. The husband and wife team were very easy to work with and provided everything that needed doing for the roof. I would definitely call them again.

Rivas did a great job. He estimated a three day job, it only took two. His roofers were jovial and polite. They cleaned up completely. Overall, it was as a good a roofing experience as roofing experiences come.

The customer service was outstanding - they went above and beyond our expectations. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality workmanship at an unbeatable price.

Riva's Construction did great. They were great. They came and took everything off and then 2 weeks later they came and put the new roof on in a day. They cleaned up after themselves. We had 3 or 4 people come out and they were the lowest bid. The quality is good, because it rained and it didn't get into the new construction. They are absolutely professional. They were friendly, but they did the job when they said they would. I would use them again, but hopefully I won't have to. I would recommend them to people.

They were very good, punctual and responsive. We had a problem and they came right back. They came out when we weren’t even here and fixed the problem.

I was quite impressed. 10 days from bid to job completion. The job looks great, there were no unexpected price bumps. I the cleanup was well done. The actual job was done in a day. I really liked the simple bid these people did, not full of good/better/best options, but just a single number to do it as I asked. What had I asked? I asked him to bid it for the job he'd do if the house was his. I pointed out the problem areas I knew about an let him take it from there. I'd use him again in an instant.
