Very professionally done. East Lane Vet has been my veterinarian of choice for better than 15 years. They are always competent and compassionate beyond expectation. Highly recommended to anyone with veterinary needs.

I hope he never retires. Not only was he very helpful with my dog on this occasion, but 5 years ago he treated her for a very aggressive form of cancer with a new vitamin C protocol and cured her.

The folks at East Lane Vet Hospital are superlatively wonderful. They offer care and compassion as well as being knowledgeable and capable. All of the staff express a level of compassion for the animals and their caretakers. I have not heard of Dr Brian reattaching any detached heads, but if anyone could, I think that he is capable. Dr Brian is always humble. He expresses himself by interacting to get input from the animal caregivers and often stating that his knowledge is incomplete. He is willing to work with caregivers and measure the actions that are taken by what they can do.
We have been using their service almost exclusively for the last 25 year.

The staff at East Lane Veterinary Clinic gave us clear instructions for preparation, including when to limit food and water the night before and day of the procedure.

When we brought Abbie into the clinic the day of the procedure, she was clearly anxious. She was immediately taken from the reception area to a quieter area for her pre-operation preparation. We returned home. After the procedure was complete, we were telephoned and given a description of the procedure and Abbie's reaction to it, and told that we could pick her up later in the day.

While she was sedated, Abbie's claws were trimmed and anal glands expressed.

When we picked Abbie up, she was awake, but still tipsy from the anesthesia. We were given pain medication and antibiotics for her, and instructions for administration. The bedding in her carrier had been laundered. Photographs of Abbie's mouth and teeth had been taken before and after the procedure and given to us.

The following day, we received a telephone call inquiring about Abbie's reaction and behavior.

In the days and weeks before her operation, we could sense that Abbie was having difficulty chewing. Within a few days after her infected teeth were removed, Abbie returned to her normal activities, including chewing dry kibble food.

Dr. Brian is a great veterinarian! He is very accommodating to a wide range of pet owners. From the "my pet IS my child and I will do anything for my pet" type owner to the "my pet is a pet and I will do what I can for my pet, within reason" type owner. If finances are tight, he will work within those constraints, without judgement. He is very good with the animals themselves working quickly, efficiently, thoroughly, and kindly. Over the course of the last 4 years, for various reasons, I have had both my cats and my dogs into East Lane, and have always been very happy the entire staff. Even when my questions regarded animals such as chickens and lizards, I have had my questions answered to the best of their abilities or been directed to the needed resource. East Lane Vet Hospital is worth the drive!

Overall, the experience went very well. Both of the veterinarians that work there are very good and knowledgable. We have alot of animals and we've been to alot of vets, and Dr. Brian gives me options and communicates very well about how much particular services will cost, and then lets me decide which one to go with. Our cat had a "bad attitude" that Dr. Brian handled beautifully. He was was able to diagnose her preoperly. I'm happy with their services and I would recommend them to others.
